Looking at the listing, the Moto G36 will sport a tall 6.72-inch TFT display with FHD+ resolution, similar to its predecessor. While the processor is still under wraps, it will be a 5G chipset that has an octa core configuration with a 2.4GHz clock speed. The TENAA database also confirmed that there are multiple storage configurations. The Moto G36 will arrive in 4GB, 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB.

Although, any RAM variant higher than 8GB seems unlikely. For storage, the budget phone was certified with 64GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants. A gigantic 6,792mAh battery pack will power the Moto G36 with support for 33W wired fast charging. Motorola’s new affordable phone measures 8.7mm in thickness and weighs 210 grams. On the rear, you get a dual camera setup that consists of a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens.

Samsung looks set to add two new models to its budget tablet range, with leaks revealing the Galaxy Tab A11 and A11+. Leaked promotional material shared by Android Headlines suggests both devices will focus on affordability without cutting back on features that matter, including long software support.

The Tab A11 is expected to carry an 8.7-inch screen with a resolution of 1340×800, while the larger Tab A11+ moves up to an 11-inch display at 1920×1200. Both are tipped to include a 90Hz refresh rate, which should make scrolling and animations feel smoother than on most entry-level tablets.
Under the hood, the two models take different approaches. The Tab A11 is said to use MediaTek’s Helio G99 chip, paired with either 4GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options up to 128GB. The Tab A11+ reportedly gets a more modern 4nm MediaTek MT8167 processor with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and as much as 256GB of storage. Both versions are expected to support microSD cards up to 2TB, giving users more flexibility.
The base model now supports a 90Hz refresh rate, up from 60Hz on its predecessor — an upgrade Samsung may highlight as a smoother, more fluid display. The Plus model, however, sticks with the same 90Hz refresh rate as the Tab A9+.

Samsung is making a push in the entry-level smartphone market in India with a steep price cut on the Galaxy A06 5G. The phone, already one of the cheapest ways to get 5G connectivity, is now available for ₹9,899, its lowest price yet.
The new price is being positioned as a limited-time promotion. With support for 12 5G bands across all major Indian networks, the A06 5G is aimed at users still holding onto older 4G handsets.
Samsung isn’t including a charger in the box, but there’s a sweetener: buyers can pick up the company’s official 25W fast charger for just ₹299 instead of the usual ₹1,399. For budget shoppers, that adds to the appeal.
The Galaxy A06 5G is built around MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset, giving it enough muscle for day-to-day use while keeping costs in check. The phone carries a 6.7-inch HD+ display, a 50MP, 1/2.75″ main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP selfie camera on the front. The OPPO Find X9 Pro isn’t official yet, but the company has already started teasing its performance. Zhou Yibao, head of the OPPO Find series, today revealed that the upcoming Find X9 Pro Satellite Communication Edition has scored over 4.04 million points on AnTuTu — more precisely, 4,045,997.
Part of the reason for that score is the chipset. The Find X9 series will debut MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, which features an all-big-core design with one Cortex-X930 core running at 4.21GHz, three Cortex-X930 cores at 3.5GHz, and four Cortex-A730 cores at 2.7GHz.
The performance tease follows comments from OPPO’s Chief Product Officer, Liu Zuohu, who also happens to be the founder of OnePlus. Writing in a long post earlier this week, Liu described the Find X9 series as “a revolution in image quality.” He confirmed the new phones would be officially unveiled next month.
Liu gave some context for the company’s bold claim. The Find X9 Pro will ship with the industry’s only wide-angle lens capable of supporting dynamic triple exposure, alongside what OPPO calls the strongest 200-megapixel ultra-clear telephoto lens available.
The focus is on clarity and detail, but also on accurate color restoration. To that end, OPPO is extending its Ultra-level Danxia lens tech to the entire Find X9 lineup for the first time, after upgrading the system to work in full coordination with all three rear cameras.
On the imaging side, OPPO will also continue its partnership with Hasselblad. The Find X9 series is expected to carry forward the Hasselblad color tuning seen in past models, and for the Pro edition, there’s a new magnetic camera kit co-developed with Hasselblad.

It may not have the highest brightness levels or 120Hz refresh rate, but for family movie nights, binge-watching OTT shows, or even occasional gaming, it performs brilliantly. Add to that Vu’s thoughtful touches like the Wi-Fi hotkey remote, sleek design, and bundled wall mount, and you have a TV that feels well worth the investment.
Price and availability
The Vu Vibe DV 65-inch model (65VIBE-DV) is priced at Rs. 52,000 on Amazon India. Given the Dolby Vision QLED panel, integrated 88W Atmos soundbar, and Google TV OS, I’d say it delivers solid value compared to similarly priced rivals from Samsung or LG.

Huawei looks ready to refresh its unusual open-ear earbuds, the FreeClip, with a sleeker second-generation model. A real-life photo of the FreeClip 2 has now surfaced online, giving us a first look at the design changes and new color option. The earbuds are scheduled to launch on September 24 in China with the Huawei Watch GT 6 series, while a global announcement could take place earlier on September 19.
The leaked photos show the FreeClip 2 in a new blue finish, with black and white likely rounding out the lineup. The overall concept hasn’t changed much — the earbuds still use the same “Acoustic Ball” that rests near the ear canal, counterbalanced by the “Comfort Bean” on the outside. They’re linked by the distinctive C-shaped bridge that gives the product its name.
That said, Huawei appears to have made some subtle refinements. The C-bridge now has a matte finish instead of gloss, which should look cleaner and resist fingerprints. The clip itself seems to use a striped texture, possibly for better grip and to reduce pressure during long listening sessions. Comfort was one of the main complaints with the original model, so these tweaks could make a noticeable difference.
Details on sound quality, battery life, and features like noise cancellation haven’t leaked yet, but it’s safe to assume Huawei will try to offer a reasonable upgrade over the first generation FreeClip and also stay ahead of rivals in the open-ear category, such as Nothing.
If the FreeClip 2 lives up to the design improvements seen here, it could be one of the more stylish and comfortable options in the growing open-ear earbuds space.
Vivo is expected to announce the Vivo X300 series on Oct. 13 in China. However, the global launch may also be around the corner, as the global variant of the Vivo X300 has recently appeared on Geekbench.

Reports have revealed that the global versions of the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro have model numbers V2515 and V2514, respectively. As can be seen above, the V2515 has appeared on Geekbench, revealing its key details.
Like the Chinese version of the Vivo X300, its global variant also features the Dimensity 9500 SoC. For those who don’t know, this new chip, which is scheduled to launch on Sept. 22 in China, adopts a 1+3+4 CPU configuration made up of one Travis core clocked at 4.21GHz, three Alto cores at 3.50GHz, and four Gelas cores at 2.7GHz. Both Travis and Alto belong to Arm’s new X9 line, while Gelas are part of the updated A7 series. The chip also features a Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU built on a new architecture, promising over 40 percent efficiency gains and more than 40 percent improvement in ray tracing capabilities.
The Vivo X300’s global version scored 3177 in the single-core test and 9701 in the multi-core test. Apart from the D9500 chip, the device is equipped with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. Speculations are rife that the Vivo X300 series will mark the global debut of OriginOS 6.
The appearance of the Vivo X300’s global version on Geekbench is a strong hint that the company could be internally testing its performance. It is likely that the Vivo X300 series will debut globally in November or December.

Yesterday, Samsung started rolling out the stable version of the One UI 8 update, starting with the Galaxy S25 series (including the S25 FE). The update is currently available in limited regions, but it should quickly expand to other regions. The company also published a post on Samsung Newsroom announcing the same, while also revealing rollout details for other Galaxy devices.
The post on Samsung Newsroom website says “One UI 8 will also reach the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6, Galaxy Z Flip6, Galaxy S24 FE and additional eligible models later this year.” It also mentions the devices eligible for the One UI 8.0 upgrade but provides no information about the rollout. However, a Samsung Community moderator has published details about the One UI 8 rollout timeline in a post on Samsung Community Forum in South Korea.

According to the timeline, the Galaxy S25 series (including S25 FE) will get the update in September, which has already begun. With half of this month still to go, we were expecting more Galaxy devices to receive the stable update in September, but Samsung has different plans.

MediaTek has officially confirmed the date for its upcoming flagship chip reveal. The company’s Weibo post announced a launch event scheduled for September 22 at 14:00pm (local time). The upcoming Dimensity 9500 is set to power premium smartphones from Vivo and Oppo, and later on from other brands.

As per reports, the Dimensity 9500 will adopt a 1+3+4 CPU configuration made up of one Travis core clocked at 4.21GHz, three Alto cores at 3.50GHz, and four Gelas cores at 2.7GHz. Both Travis and Alto belong to Arm’s new X9 line, while Gelas are part of the updated A7 series.
The chip will also feature a Mali-G1 Ultra MC12 GPU built on a new architecture, promising over 40 percent efficiency gains and more than 40 percent improvement in ray tracing capabilities. Early figures suggest that ray-traced gaming could exceed 100 frames per second, signalling a significant upgrade for mobile gaming.
The platform includes 16MB of L3 cache, 10MB SLC, SME instruction set support, and NPU 9.0 with an expected 100 TOPS of AI performance. Memory support extends to LPDDR5x at 10667Mbps along with UFS 4.1 storage for faster data handling.
Vivo’s X300 series will be the first to introduce the Dimensity 9500 to the market. Last week, Vivo’s product manager revealed benchmark results for the X300 Pro satellite communication variant, which crossed the 4 million mark on AnTuTu, making it the first Android device to achieve this milestone. However, the Oppo Find X9 Pro satellite communication version’s AnTuTu score, which was confirmed today, has even surpassed that of the X300 Pro satellite version.
Rumours are rife that the Vivo X300 series will debut on Oct. 13, whereas the Oppo Find X9 lineup may break cover on Oct. 21 in China.

Yesterday, Xiaomi officially confirmed that it will unveil the Xiaomi 17 series later this month in China. Today, the brand has given the first official glimpse of its upcoming Xiaomi 17 Pro series through teasers on social media.
Xiaomi 17 Pro series to sport secondary rear display
Unlike the previous generation, the entire rear camera housing of the Xiaomi 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max is replaced with a functional secondary screen. This screen is expected to support notifications, time display, multitasking, AI interactions and cross-device functions, expanding on the small secondary display seen earlier in the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra.
The Pro series maintains Leica branding on the back, continuing the company’s partnership for imaging. The rear camera layout has three lenses, with two large sensors placed vertically within the module and a smaller third lens alongside the flash.
As the brand has already confirmed, the Xiaomi 17 Pro will be a compact flagship, whereas the Pro Max will be its larger version. The lineup will also include the standard Xiaomi 17.
According to reports, the Xiaomi 17 Pro will feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate and a 6,300mAh battery supporting 100W wired and 50W wireless charging. The larger Xiaomi 17 Pro Max is said to carry a 6.8-inch 2K display with 94 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 7,500mAh battery.
All three models in the series, including the standard Xiaomi 17, will launch with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 17 series will debut on Sept. 26 in China.
Competing Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered phones like the Honor Magic 8 series, OnePlus 15, iQOO 15, and Realme GT 8 Pro are expected to launch in October in China.

OnePlus 15 is rumored to get a major design overhaul, but a new render that surfaced on Weibo suggests the company might be playing it a little too safe.
The leaked image shows a phone that looks less like a fresh OnePlus flagship and more like a close cousin of the iPhone. The resemblance is so striking that it’s hard to believe the company signed off on this design.
The source of the leak isn’t one we’re familiar with, so it’s worth taking the image with a healthy dose of skepticism. Still, if the design is true, you can see the phone has a squircle camera module with three lenses, a flat back, and none of the bold experimentation you might expect from a company that once leaned heavily on “Never Settle” as its identity.
The render shows three color options that match earlier rumors: Dune, Absolute Black, and Mist Purple. The front of the phone isn’t pictured, but reports suggest it could have a 1.5K display with a 165Hz refresh rate.
What else is on the table?
What’s confirmed is that the OnePlus 15 will come with its own DetailMax Imaging Engine and no Hasselblad partnership. The company has already shared a few camera samples showing its new camera engine in action.
Moreover, it will be one of the first flagships to get the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, likely paired with up to 12GB of RAM.
Software-wise, the OnePlus 15 will ship with Android 16 out of the box, as confirmed by Geekbench. Fueling the phone will be a 7000mAh battery that supports both 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Sound Party packs 50W of total power split between a 15W tweeter and 35W woofer. It comes with Bass Boost mode and Harman AudioEFX tuning for wider sound and deeper bass. The speaker weighs about 1.2kg and has a hidden handle, making it easy to carry around.
With IP67 rating, it handles dust and water without problems. Perfect for taking outside or to the beach. The speaker measures 255 x 92 x 92mm and comes in black with orange accents.
The 7.3V, 5200mAh battery delivers up to 26 hours of music at 50% volume when you turn off the lights and bass boost. That’s serious battery life for a portable speaker. Charging happens through USB-C with fast charging support. Just 10 minutes plugged in gets you 2 hours of playback time. The speaker also works as a power bank, putting out up to 15W to charge your phone or other devices.
Bluetooth 5.4 handles the wireless connection, and Android users get NFC pairing for quick setup with devices running Android 8.1 or newer. The TWS mode lets you pair two speakers for true stereo sound with separate left and right channels.
Party Connect is where things get interesting. You can sync up to 100 speakers together for massive sound at big events. All speakers play the same music at exactly the same time.
The “time tunnel” lighting creates 3D ambient effects that sync with your music. There’s also a built-in microphone for taking calls hands-free.

Samsung’s Galaxy S26 series is set to launch next January, but early leaks are already giving us a clearer idea of what the lineup could look like. This time it’s not CAD renders or early prototypes with experimental designs—it’s accessories. Protective cases and glass films have surfaced, and they strongly suggest Samsung isn’t sticking to the S25’s design language.
The S26 family is expected to arrive in three versions: the S26 Pro, the S26 Ultra, and the S26 Edge (possibly marketed as the S26 Air). Renders shared earlier in the year suggested that the Pro and Ultra would carry forward Samsung’s familiar clean design with separate camera lenses housed within a pill-shaped island, while the Edge would take a more experimental route. The new accessories back that up.
Images of camera protective films posted by leaker Ice Universe show the S26 Edge with a “camera bar” stretching right across the back—something Samsung hasn’t done before in the Galaxy S line. In contrast, the Pro and Ultra stick with more conventional modules. Case leaks add another wrinkle: the Edge model is shown with built-in magnetic rings, which makes alignment of wireless charging coils inside the phone and accessories much easier.
It suggests Samsung is finally adding support for magnetic accessories, a move that would mirror Google’s recent Pixel 10 approach. That said, it will be interesting to see whether the Ultra, with its built-in S Pen, will also support the feature.
Hopes for other upgrades, such as faster charging and an improved 3x telephoto, were recently dashed by certification listings and leaks. Even so, the appearance of these accessories suggests Samsung has finalized the basics of the design, even if branding details remain under wraps.
If accurate, Samsung is preparing a more diverse Galaxy S26 lineup than usual. A bold Edge variant could appeal to those who want something different, while the Pro and Ultra keep the formula familiar.
Apple’s newest iPhone chip, the A19 Pro, is already drawing attention with leaked benchmark results that show it could go toe to toe with Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5. While not a radical jump from last year’s A18 Pro, the numbers hint that Apple may hold its lead in raw CPU power for another generation.
A Geekbench entry for the iPhone 17 Pro Max put the A19 Pro at 4,019 points in single-core and 11,054 in multi-core. That’s roughly a 20% boost over the A18 Pro in the iPhone 16 Pro Max. Built on TSMC’s 3nm process, the chip looks to deliver not just higher performance but better efficiency in sustained workloads.
On the Android side, leaker Digital Chat Station claims Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5—due to launch in early 2026 inside devices like the Xiaomi 17 series and iQOO 15—will land around 3,393 single-core and 11,515 multi-core. If true, it means Qualcomm is catching up but not necessarily surpassing Apple’s silicon, continuing a long-running theme in the mobile chip rivalry.
There is some debate about how realistic the A19 Pro’s scores are. Other listings put the multi-core result below 10,000, suggesting the higher number could be from tests run with controlled environment such as a thermoelectric cooler attached to the phone. In day-to-day use, the gains may feel less dramatic.
Still, the results underline Apple’s strength in CPU design. Qualcomm may counter with advantages in graphics and AI, but Apple’s tight hardware-software integration keeps its iPhones ahead in consistency. With the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 expected in just a few weeks, the competition for smartphone performance leadership looks set to remain fierce.
Vivo’s upcoming X300 series is set to deliver not just upgraded processors and cameras, but also a new connectivity feature targeting Apple’s ecosystem edge. A key highlight is an AirDrop-style tool designed to make file sharing more seamless.
According to a Vivo executive on Weibo, the X300 Pro and its smaller sibling will debut with Android 16 running under OriginOS 6. The X300 Pro, powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500, is being positioned as Vivo’s strongest competitor to the iPhone 17 series, combining a sleeker design with a revamped rear camera system.
Much like Apple’s AirDrop, OriginOS 6‘s new file sharing feature lets users wirelessly send files between Vivo smartphones and Apple devices such as Macs and iPads. The only requirement is being signed in with a Vivo account on both ends—no cables or shared Wi-Fi needed. While the function still lives inside Vivo’s ecosystem, the ability to link directly with Apple products is a notable step toward breaking down the walls between Android and iOS.
Other models, including the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2-powered iQOO 15, will also ship with OriginOS 6 and the same file-sharing tool. On the hardware side, the X300 Pro is expected to feature a Hasselblad-tuned quad camera setup and refinements to design, while the compact X300 offers a smaller footprint for those who prefer portability.
With the X300 series, Vivo isn’t just iterating on cameras and chipsets—it’s attempting to bridge ecosystems. If its AirDrop-style file sharing works as promised, it could appeal to users who juggle Android phones and Apple computers, a group often frustrated by compatibility barriers.
