Xiaomi has unveiled the MIJIA Smart Yuba Pro in China. The product will be open for crowdfunding at 10 AM on September 16. It carries a retail price of 699 yuan (~$102) and a crowdfunding price of 649 yuan (~$95).
The MIJIA Smart Yuba Pro has a built-in 2800W PTC ceramic heating module which can heat up to 10°C in 1 minut, instantly heating up the room. You also get the option of customizing your temperature preference and the gadget will automatically heat to keep the bathroom constant temperature.
Further, it supports multiple modes such as heating, blowing, ventilation, demisting, and drying. It also does not require embedded wires in the wall as it is completely wireless. The gadget is also equipped wit 10 buttons as well las a 3-inch LCD screen. The smart Yuba is equally rich in functions and has a long battery shelf life of 2 years.
It is equipped with Japanese Nidec DC variable frequency motor which comes with a step-less speed change and can output constant warm wind and ventilation at the same time. The operating noise is low and aside from being durable, it has energy-saving features.
The vents have 60-120° wide-angle swing leaves which removes the discomfort of the air blowing directly at the user. The 360° surround air intake design drives the airflow in the bathroom in an all-round way. It is known as an air duct design comparable to air conditioning.
If the bathroom is foggy, it could lead to stuffy lungs. The MIJIA Smart Yuba Pro uses intelligent constant temperature technology to prevent the water vapour in the bathroom from being liquefied when it is cold. The constant warm air and ventilation are turned on at the same time to avoid feeling stuffy.
It also supports intelligent drying mode, which can automatically adjust the drying intensity and duration, effectively drying clothes, thus preventing moisture and mould in rainy weather.
The color rendering index of the main lamp is as high as Ra90 while the brightness is up to 1300lm. The brightness can be adjusted at will. It also supports ultra-low-brightness night light with a human sensor. Thus, it turns on automatically at night when humanoid movement is detected.

Apple has a launch tomorrow which should be for new watches and new iPads. Ahead of the launch, some specs of the upcoming products have been revealed in a new leak.
The source of the leak is Evan Blass and he has posted details of two new iPads, the Apple Watch Series 6, and the affordable Apple Watch SE.
According to the tweet, the 4th Gen iPad Air will come with the new Apple A14 processor which we should know more about tomorrow. This is the same chipset expected to power the upcoming iPhone 12 series. The tablet will not only have a shiny new processor but also get a USB-C port. Yes, the USB-C port from the iPad Pro is coming to the iPad Air.
– iPad Air 4th Gen: A14 and USB-C – iPad 8th Gen: A12X and Lightning – Apple Watch Series 6: S4, 2 sizes, both BT and LTE – Apple Watch SE: also in 2 sizes, also BT and LTE versions
Apple will also announce the 8th Gen iPad which will be powered by the less-powerful A12X Bionic processor and feature Apple’s proprietary lightning port. The 8th Gen iPad should have a lower price tag for those who want something more affordable.
Evan Blass also revealed the Apple Watch Series 6 will feature the S4 processor. That should be a mistake and should be S6 seeing as the Series 5 is powered by the S5 processor. The watch will come in two sizes and both sizes will be available in Bluetooth and LTE variants. The Apple Watch SE will also be available in two sizes and come in the same variants.
The Apple launch event will begin tomorrow at 10 AM Pacific Time (5 PM GMT/10:30 PM IST).
In this era where COVID 19 is ravaging the entire world, a lot of attention is being paid to the sterilization of household utensils. In this regard, more than a few products have been launched and even more, are still being unveiled by the day. Xiaomi has launched the Moonyee Portable sterilization box under the Youpin crowdfunding platform. The portable device starts at 89 yuan (~$13). The Galaxy S20 FE is set to arrive next week. The new member of the S20 family will arrive in both 4G and 5G variants. If you are wondering how much the 4G variant will cost, a European network operator has put up a listing that reveals the price of the device.
According to a listing that has now been pulled down by Orange Slovakia, the Galaxy S20 FE will retail for €699. The listing says the phone has a 6.5-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED display, triple rear cameras, and a 4500mAh battery. It also says the phone has 6GB of RAM, runs Android 10, and has dual SIM support. However, it doesn’t mention the processor.
The listing seems to be inaccurate in some areas such as the display which has been reported to be a 1080p panel and not a 1440p one. They also didn’t use product images gotten from Samsung but those that were leaked by Evan Blass. As you can see in the image above, the leaker’s watermark can be seen on the photo of the device.
Samsung Galaxy S20 FE 4G listed at Orange Slovakia, confirming price of 699 Euro and the specs I posted earlier: https://t.co/dUeMxYAtuh
Nevertheless, the price is said to check out according to Roland Quandt (@rquandt) who first shared the listing.
There are reports that the 4G version of the Galaxy S20 FE will have the Exynos 990 processor under the hood while the 5G version will be powered by the Snapdragon 865. It remains to be seen if this will be the case when the phone is unveiled next week.
Earlier today, OPPO officially unveiled ColorOS 11 as the latest version of its mobile operating system. It is based on Android 11 and to keep up with the version of Android, the company has shifted directly from ColorOS 7.2. The Chinese smartphone maker says that the new branding will help users easily identify the version of Android their smartphone is running. OPPO claims that with the “Make Life Flow” concept, ColorOS 11 offers stock Android features, in addition to rich UI customization options. That being said, let us take a look at all the new features the fresh version of OPPO’s Android skin brings to its smartphones.
UI Customizations
With ColorOS 11, OPPO has opened up its Android skin’s UI to be more customizable than ever before. Users can not only use third-party icon packs but also create their own Always-on Display (AOD) styles, a feature found in MIUI 12 and EMUI 11. Just like those software, ColorOS 11 too limits AOD to handsets with OLED displays.
Personalizations/Personalized customization
Unlike the Android skins of Xiaomi and HUAWEI, ColorOS 11 also lets users select accent colors (similar to OxygenOS 11), generate wallpapers by analyzing colors as well as pictures, create ringtones and even enables users to make their own ringtones.
OPPO has also implemented a new Personalizations aka Personalized customization page in Settings just like in OnePlus and Pixel devices as the one-stop destination to customize most of the above-mentioned things.
Dark Mode
Further, ColorOS 11 offers three styles of Dark modes namey Enhanced, Medium, and Gentle, in addition to options like Auto contrast, Adjust wallpapers to Dark mode, Adjust icons to Dark mode, scheduler, and support for third-party apps that don’t have a native dark mode,
Last year, OPPO introduced 30+ artistic wallpapers from world-renowned artists. This year, it has partnered with Beauty of Science to bring wallpapers based on microscope, macro, and time lapse photographs.
OPPO Relax 2.0
OPPO Relax was introduced in ColorOS 7. The new version in ColorOS 11 comes with a feature called Sound Mix, in which users can select from a wide variety of sounds such as natural, urban, ASMR, and everyday sounds to create a true-to-life whit noise mix to their liking.
OPPO Relax 2.0
Users can also listen to sounds from cities like Tokyo, Bangkok, and Reykjavik in OPPO Relax 2.0.
Three-Finger Translate
ColorOS is known for its Three-Finger screenshot feature, which is now found on many Android skins. In ColorOS 7, the company improved this feature by implementing partial fingerprint functionality, which can be accessed by long-pressing three fingers.
Three-Finger Translate
In ColorOS 11, OPPO has partnered with Google to bring translation functionality powered by Google Lens. The company calls it “Three-Finger Translate”. With this feature, users can directly translate the content in partial screenshots while capturing them.
FlexDrop
FlexDrop is OPPO’s answer to MIUI 12 floating windows, EMUI 11’s Smart Multi-Window, and Flyme 8.1’s Small Window Mode 2.1. Users can also resize the app windows to their liking like on the above-mentioned skins for a better multi-tasking experience.
FlexDrop
That said, this feature will be only introduced in October. So the devices receiving the update this month will lack FlexDrop.
Private System
Private System in ColorOS 11 is similar to Samsung’s AltZLife in Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 but at a very large scale. This feature enables users to create a copy of their current system protected by a separate fingerprint or password.
Private System
Apps and data are independent in original and Private System. Users also get an option to select the apps they want in the Private System while creating it. Even if they forget to do it, they can install any app of their choice in that space.
Interestingly, OPPO also allows users to enable notifications from both systems. By doing so, users will receive notifications from both systems all the time no matter what space they are in.
Performance Improvements
OPPO introduces UI First 2.0 to provide smoother experience on devices with high-refresh rate displays. This technology boosts RAM utilization by 45%, improves response rate by 32%, and enhances frame rate stability by 17%.
Further, AI App Preloading preloads apps to reduce app loading time by learning usage behaviour of users. Whereas, SuperTouch identifies key user scenarios and optimizes the touch response speed accordingly.
On the other hand, Hyper Boost 3.0 keeps battery use under control without comprising the overall system performance. The Smart Resource Allocation in this technology helps in increasing the CPU utilization by up to 30% keeping the power consumption as low as 12%.
Battery-related Features
Super Power Saving Mode helps users utilize most out of the last remaining battery by limiting access to a maximum of 6 apps. OPPO claims 5% battery level can be used for WhatsApp messaging for up to 90 minutes when this mode is activated.
Super Power Saving Mode
Whereas, Battery Guard helps users in maintaining the battery health by learning users’ charging habits. This feature is handy for those users who charge their phones overnight. It automatically stops charging the phone when the battery level reaches 80% and continues to fill up to 100% by the time users get up.
Lastly, Low Battery Message, a feature which is exclusive to India, prompts users to share their current location to select contacts when their battery level drops to 15%.In other words, this feature will allow users to share their status to friends and families when their phone is about to die.
OPPO Open Platform
Google’s CameraX API enables OPPO to let third-party applications use its camera features. With ColorOS 7.2, the company opened up its Ultra Steady Video stabilization and Super Wide-Angle (access to ultra-wide angle camera) features.
Now, with ColorOS 11, the firm also opens Video HDR, a software-based HDR video recording feature to third-party apps.
Android 11 Features
Since ColorOS 11 is based on Android 11, it also brings all the new important features of Google’s latest operating system such as Chat Bubbles, Device Control in power menu, One-time Permission, Auto-Reset Permission, Scoped Storage, and Nearby Share.

ColorOS 11 Rollout
ColorOS 11 Beta rollout for India, Indonesia, Thailand, and other open market regions has begun from September 14 itself. Whereas, in Eastern Europe, the rollout will start from November 2020, followed by Western Europe in December 2020.
The starting time periods mentioned above are for the first batch of devices. Also, note that they are for beta rollout only. Stable builds may take a little bit more time to arrive.
Last month, it was rumoured that Google will be launching the Pixel 5 on September 30. Indeed, the tech giant has now confirmed that the flagship smartphone will be launched on September 30th. The event which would be a virtual one will commence at 2PM ET / 11AM PT.
Apart from the Pixel 5 smartphone, Google may also take the wraps off a new Chromecast, and a new smart speaker according to the invitation sent out. The invite reads; “We invite you to learn all about our new Chromecast, our latest smart speaker, and our new Pixel phones.”
The Pixel 5 was first officially announced during the launch of the Pixel 4a. The post put out back then stated that the Pixel 5 will have 5G support. The phone will be available in the US, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Germany, Japan, Taiwan, and Australia when it launches.
However, this is the first time the company was confirming it will launch a new Chromecast and Google-branded smart speaker. Google had confirmed the existence of a Nest smart speaker back in July after the leakage of an image of the speaker.
Mark your calendars. HMD Global has just announced it has a couple of new phones launching this month.
Juho Sarvikas, the Chief Product Officer of HMD Global has taken to Twitter to announce that the manufacturer will be unveiling new Nokia phones on Tuesday, the 22nd of September. The event will be live-streamed and will begin at 4 PM BST.
Mark your calendars! On 22 September at 4pm GMT, we will announce a great new line-up of Nokia phones, competition giveaways, and a very special guest. Follow @Nokiamobile for more details #onlygadgetyouneedpic.twitter.com/z7umZ9Jtk9
There is no teaser for what phones to expect on that day but a leak from earlier today said the Nokia 7.3 will be announced on September 22. However, since the tweet says there will be a new line-up of Nokia phones, we should expect other phones to tag along.
The Nokia 6.3 seems likely to launch on the same day seeing as HMD Global announced both the Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 6.2 together last year. However, the Nokia 6.3 is reported to be a 4G smartphone while the Nokia 7.3 is expected to have a 5G modem.
HMD Global may or may not announce new feature phones at the launch which is said will have “a very special guest”. We may also get new Nokia accessories too.
The front view of the OnePlus 8T leaked a few weeks ago. Now, we know what the entire device will look thanks to renders that have been published on the web. These renders are also accompanied by the specs of the phone, some of which you may find disappointing and others that you will be excited for.
The renders and specs are from OnLeaks and he has partnered with the Indian blog, PriceBaba. These renders are said to be based on internal schematics and not 3D CADs, so there are no dimensions.
The OnePlus 8T will indeed have a flat display with a hole punch at the top left corner of the screen. The back is covered in glass and it is curved with rounded corners. OnePlus has adopted a new design for the rear cameras. Gone is the centered and elongated pill-shaped housing, and in its place is a rectangular housing similar to the ones we have seen on Samsung phones. The camera housing is home to four cameras arranged in an L-shape and an LED flash.
The phone has a USB-C port at the bottom and it is flanked on the right by two slits for the speaker grille and the SIM tray on the left. The alert slider and power button are on the right side of the frame while the left is home to the volume control. There is also a wide but thin speaker grille above the display.

OnePlus 8T render
With respect to the specs, the OnePlus 8T is said to have a 6.55-inch screen just like the OnePlus 8. The resolution is still FHD+ but the refresh rate ha been bumped up to 120Hz. Under the hood is a Snapdragon 865 processor and it will be paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM with 128GB and 256GB of storage respectively.
The OnePlus 8T is reported to have a 32MP selfie camera while the quad cameras on the back of the phone include a 48MP primary sensor, a 16MP ultrawide angle camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.
The camera is getting a slight bump from 4300mAh on the OnePlus 8 to 4500mAh on the OnePlus 8T. However, fast charging gets a huge bump as the OnePlus 8 is said to support 65W fast charging. What do you think it will be called, Warp Charge 65? As expected, the phone will run Android 11 with OxygenOS 11 on top out of the box.
The OnePlus 8T should launch by the end of the month or by the first week of October. It is not yet known if any of the reported mid-range Nord phones will be arriving together with it or later.
Samsung‘s latest Galaxy S20 models featured a 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor and a Telephoto lens on the rear camera setup. According to South Korean website TheElec, the tech giant may have got plans to add a second telephoto lens on the device.
The report says Samsung will replace the 3D Time of Flight (ToF) sensor with a second telephoto lens while still retaining the Quad-camera setup of the upcoming flagship model.
The Galaxy S21 will reportedly have a 12MP ultrawide camera, a 108MP wide-angle lens, a 10MP 3x optical zoom telephoto lens and then a folded zoom telephoto. The folded zoom telephoto camera will support over 5x zoom.
Apart from the folded zoom telephoto camera, the specs for the remaining three cameras are said to be the same in terms of pixels. The flagship model will pack a huge 40MP front camera.
The 3D ToF sensor was yanked off the Galaxy Note 20 as the sensor was seldom used by owners of the Galaxy S20. Also, the sensor was below par with that of Apple’s from where it drew inspiration.
If Samsung indeed included a twin telephoto camera setup on the Galaxy S21, it will be tilting towards Huawei P40 Pro Plus which features a 3X optical zoom lens and a 10X folded zoom. The P40 Pro Plus also has a ToF module, though, as it features a five-camera set-up With two telephoto cameras, the device will allow larger areas to be zoomed in without hurting the picture’s resolution. Unlike when there was one telephoto, the areas between 3x and 5x will actually magnify the real object.
Huawei P40 Pro Plus features two Telephoto lenses
Samsung was recently reported to have changed the codename for the Galaxy S21 from Unbound to Palette. The top model of the Galaxy S21 will also have the S Pen.
Samsung Galaxy S20 series shipment is projected to peak at about 20 million units this year, much lower than the 30 million units on average of previous Galaxy S series models. It is expected that the Galaxy S21 will mark a rebound for the company.
The LG Wing is official and it is a pretty amazing device. Honestly, it is. The LG Wing is the first phone (product) from LG’s Explorer Project and its unique design solves smartphone usage problems we have lived with.
LG Wing Design
The LG Wing is a different take on dual display devices. There is the main display that rotates 90° to reveal a smaller screen. Both screens work together to provide new usage scenarios and improve on existing ones.
With a design like this, durability is important. LG says the hinge which allows the main screen swivel uses a dual-spring, dual-lock, and hydraulic damper. All these work together to prevent disconnection, allows for a uniform distribution of force, and also absorbs shocks when swiveled.
LG claims the LG Wing was put through multiple durability tests including stress tests, shock tests, bending tests, and touch sensors and key press tests. The swivel was also tested over 200 thousand times.
Worried about the inner screen getting scratched by the outer one? LG says it has applied a poly-oxy-methylene (POM) coating on the second screen that prevents it from getting damaged by the larger one. Just like a lot of LG’s other phones, the Wing is also MIL-STD-810G certified.
LG also tried to cut down the weight by reducing the thickness of the alloy frame and applying a perforation technique to reduce the mass. These reductions allowed for the weight of the phone to be cut down from over 300 grams to 260 grams.
LG Wing Dual Screen Usage Scenarios
The LG Wing’s swivel dual-screen form factor allows for a variety of usage scenarios. Some apps will automatically take advantage of the second screen when in the dual-screen mode such as YouTube which can display playback controls or comments on the secondary screen while the main screen plays the video. Music apps will also do something similar. If you are scrolling o your gallery, highlighted photos will show up on the main screen while the rest of the photos will be visible on the smaller screen. Video editing also works in a similar way.
Another usage scenario is to use two apps at the same time: so you can watch a movie or live stream on the main screen while tweeting about it or taking down notes on the smaller screen. if you have frequently used apps, you can save the combination and quickly launch them whenever you want.
All these scenarios on a standard smartphone will either have you creating a split-screen or dealing with distractions while in a particular app.
LG Wing Specs
The LG Wing has a main 6.8-inch 2460 x 1080 screen that swivels up 90° to reveal a smaller 3.9-inch 1240 x 1080 screen behind it. Both screens are OLED panels. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 765G processor and has 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
The LG Wing has a 32MP pop-up selfie camera, a first for an LG phone. The manufacturer has included a fall detection feature that causes the camera to retract when you drop it. This is a feature we have seen on other phones such as the OnePlus 7 Pro.
The back of the phone is home to three rear cameras arranged vertically and rocking a design similar to that of the Reno4. The primary camera (positioned in the middle) is a 64MP sensor and above it is a 12MP 120° ultrawide angle camera for shooting in swivel mode while the third camera is another ultrawide angle camera, but a 13MP sensor with a 117° FOV, for shooting in basic mode.
LG has included a number of cool camera features such as simultaneous recording from both the rear and selfie camera. There is also a gimbal mode that allows you to use the device just as you would use a phone mounted on a gimbal. In this mode, what you are recording is displayed on the main screen while the lower screen displays a virtual control akin to that on a gimbal with buttons such as an on-screen joystick for tilting and panning, a pan following mode, and a lock mode. LG says there are six motion sensors that work with a stabilization software to keep your videos steady.
The LG Wing has an in-display fingerprint scanner, packs a 4000mAh battery, and has support for wireless charging. It is also resistant to splashes and LG says the internals have a waterproof coating.
LG Wing Price and Availability
LG didn’t reveal the price of its new dual-screen smartphone neither did it say when it will go on sale. However, it has been reported that it will be available in the US.

The info comes from the Twitter account “Nokia anew” (@nokia_anew), and according to them, HMD Global will most likely unveil the Nokia 7.3 on September 22.
Sorry, we didn't formulate the tweet accurately enough. We had in mind that the announcement of Nokia 7.3 and 9.3 can be combined, but this is unlikely.
Most likely, Nokia 7.3 will be announced on September 22.
The Nokia 7.3 is the successor to the Nokia 7.2 which is reported to have been discontinued. The phone is said to be a 5G phone with a Snapdragon 690 processor, a 6.3-inch FHD+ display, a 24MP selfie camera, and a 48MP/64MP primary rear cameras. It is also expected to pack a 4000mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.

The Finnish company is also expected to announce the Nokia 6.3 and the budget Nokia 2.4 and Nokia 3.4 smartphones. It remains to be seen if these phones will launch alongside the Nokia 7.3 or get announced next quarter.
Xiaomi is known for various products apart from smartphones. Its smart TV business is one of the largest in China and India. Since the beginning of this year, the company has been making breakthroughs in this segment with products like Redmi Smart TV MAX 98 and Mi TV LUX OLED Transparent Edition. Late last month, an 82-inch Xiaomi 8K and 4K televisions were spotted on 3C. Now, more information about the 8K model emerges.
The upcoming 82-inch Mi TV 8K (7680 x 4320 pixels) will bear the model number L82M6-8K, as per 3C. It is listed on the Chinese certification bureau with a power rating of 100-240V~, 50/60Hz, 700W.
Additionally, Digital Chat Station, the one who shared this listing first claimed it to use panels from LG Display. However, he did not mention the type of the panel. The new information about this television also comes from him but even now, he did not say anything about the type of the panel but revealed something more interesting about his forthcoming TV.
According to the tipster, the soon to be launched Mi TV 82-inch 8K will come with an integrated 5G modem to provide an uninterrupted 8K streaming experience. He also says that this television will be super expensive but will be cheaper than the company’s 49,999 yuan ($7,331) transparent TV.
That said, Xiaomi will not be the first company to announce a 5G TV because another fellow Chinese company called ChiQ (Changhong) had already announced its offering earlier this year. However, we are not sure if this product is on sale in China.
Also, Xiaomi is yet to announce the launch date of its new 82-inch smart televisions in 4K and 8K resolution. Since they have been certified, they should be unveiled soon in the coming weeks.
