Geely Auto has launched the Galaxy A7 hybrid sedan, its latest model built on the new Global Intelligent Electric Architecture (GEA). It features the EM Super Hybrid 2.0 system and was unveiled at the Geely Science and Art Museum in Chongqing.

The Galaxy A7 delivers fuel efficiency of 2.67 liters per 100 kilometers and offers a driving range of over 2,100 kilometers. The hybrid engine has a thermal efficiency of 47.26%. It also includes the Xingrui AI Cloud Power 2.0 system and is the only model in its class with backup power from P1 and P3 motors, which keeps the car running even if the engine fails.

The A7 is the largest in its class. It has a wheelbase of 2,845 mm and a body length of 4,918 mm. The total cabin space is 4.2 square meters. Rear passengers get 950 mm of legroom and 132 mm of knee space. The seats have 10 layers and include a 14-point massage system for the waist, back, hips, and legs. There are 28 storage compartments and a 535-liter trunk.

The car keeps a classic sedan look with modern upgrades. It has 21 design elements to reduce drag, giving it a low drag coefficient of 0.229. The front has an integrated headlight bar with a 180-meter range. The rear has a “Sunrise” LED light bar. Inside, it has a layered design using leather, wood, and matte metal. Other features include 2,360 mm ambient lighting, music-enabled headrests, and large rear window panels for better light.

The A7 is the first to use the Flyme Auto system. It runs on a 23.5 EFLOPS AI platform and supports voice control, lane navigation, traffic light info, and full mobile connectivity.

The Short Blade Battery passed more than 100 extreme tests, including fire, water, and drop tests. The car body is reinforced with a high-strength frame and MacPherson suspension.

The Geely Galaxy A7 is set to launch in China in Q3 this year, with an estimated price range of 100,000 to 150,000 yuan (approximately 13,910 to 20,870 USD).

Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 prices leak, and they’re going up

We’re still a couple of weeks away from Samsung officially unveiling the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7, but the rumor mill has already done most of the heavy lifting.

Now, a new report might have dropped the final piece of the puzzle, the pricing, at least for the European market. The foldables were spotted on an Italian retailer’s website by the Dutch publication NieuweMobiel.

Yes, the prices are going up

According to the leak, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, listed under the codename “Q7,” will reportedly start at €2,227 for the 256GB variant, while the 512GB model could come in at €2,309. Both prices include Italy’s 22 percent VAT, and both are about €200 more expensive than last year’s Fold 6. Ouch.

The Galaxy Z Flip 7, codenamed “B7,” doesn’t escape the price hike either. Its 512GB version is reportedly priced at €1,425.51, around €100 more than its predecessor.

As always, it’s best to take pre-release pricing with a grain of salt. These listings have a tendency to shift, and official numbers will likely arrive at Samsung’s Unpacked event next month. But if these figures are accurate, Samsung’s next foldables could be the most expensive yet.

While the Fold 7 and Flip 7 might be expensive, a saving grace for Samsung could be the Galaxy Z Flip 7 FE. According to a previous report, the Flip7 FE will launch in Samsung’s home market at around KRW 1 million, which translates roughly to $740, €645, or £545.

Just don’t expect those converted prices to reflect actual global pricing. Local taxes and market positioning often push those numbers higher in the US and Europe.

Redmi K Pad Roundup: Compact Size, Flagship Specs, Gaming Focus

Xiaomi is set to launch its first compact flagship tablet under the Redmi brand. The Redmi K Pad will debut later this month in China alongside the Redmi K80 Ultra smartphone. Ahead of the official unveiling, the company has shared key specifications, while early benchmarks and teardown videos have revealed additional details.

1. Display and Design

The Redmi K Pad features an 8.8-inch LCD panel with a 3008 x 1880 resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. It supports Dolby Vision, DC dimming, and TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light and flicker-free visuals. The screen reaches a peak brightness of 610 nits and offers a pixel density of 403 PPI. Redmi claims the display surpasses the iPad mini in several key metrics, including clarity, brightness, touch sampling, and wet-hand usability.

The device uses a sandblasted metal unibody design that measures 6.46mm in thickness and weighs 336 grams. Redmi has optimized the 16:10 aspect ratio and dimensions for one-handed use and easy portability. It’s also one of the first tablet LCDs to feature a dual DDIC driver chip setup, which is normally reserved for large high-res displays, to improve clarity and refresh performance.

2. Performance and Hardware

The K Pad runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ processor, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. It includes a 1+3+4 CPU architecture with the primary core clocked at 3.73GHz. Paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, the tablet scored 2783 in single-core and 8915 in multi-core results on Geekbench 6.4.0.

Redmi uses a large 12,050mm² aluminum-alloy vapor chamber for thermal management. The motherboard sits at the center of the chassis to ensure even heat distribution. Foam padding inside the body adds protection in case of drops. Xiaomi has also integrated its “Turbo Engine 4.0” for thermal and power tuning, keeping things cool and stable under load. Thermal readings in game tests show the tablet running cooler than competing models under similar loads.

3. Cameras and Features

The device has a 13MP rear camera (OmniVision OV13B) and an 8MP front camera (OV08F), both mounted to support horizontal usage. The camera housing also integrates the antenna system to save space.

The software includes a floating game toolbar, advanced multi-window support, and display features like frame interpolation and color enhancement. It will also come with a dedicated game controller accessory, enhancing the gaming experience with more precise input and better control.

4. Gaming Performance

In real-world gaming tests, the Redmi K Pad performed on par with the Red Magic Gaming Tablet 3 Pro and Lenovo Legion Y700 (2025). All three tablets reached 119.9 FPS in Honor of Kings, but the K Pad consumed the least power at 5.7W and ran cooler with surface temperatures around 42.8°C. It delivered similarly strong results in Genshin Impact and Zenless Zone Zero, while maintaining efficiency and thermal control.

5. Battery and Charging

The Redmi K Pad packs a 7500mAh dual-cell battery. It supports 67W fast charging, though tests show it draws a maximum of 55W and charges fully in about 61 minutes. The device also supports Bypass Charging Plus, allowing it to draw power directly from the adapter during gameplay to reduce battery wear and heat buildup.

6. Audio and Connectivity

The tablet includes dual symmetrical speakers with a dual voice-coil design and N’Bass acoustic materials. Redmi claims a 78% increase in loudness with 15% reduced thickness. The speakers support Dolby Atmos and are positioned for optimal stereo output in landscape mode.

The K Pad features dual USB-C ports, with one dedicated to charging and the other for accessories. The main port supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) and DisplayPort output. The tablet lacks a fingerprint sensor.

7. Launch Timeline

Redmi will officially launch the K Pad on the 26th of this month in China. Pricing details will be announced at the event. Based on its specifications and early tests, the K Pad appears to be a compact, gaming-focused tablet with premium features tailored for performance users.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro might be getting a much-needed upgrade in the cooling department. According to recent leaks, Apple is planning to add a vapor chamber cooling system — a thermal solution all Android flagships and even most mid-range phones have been using for years — to help handle the growing demands of gaming, AI, and similar resource-intensive tasks.

This type of thermal solution uses fluid evaporation and condensation to quickly move heat away from key components to the chassis. It’s significantly more efficient than the copper heat spreaders and graphite sheets of the current iPhones.

This change could make a big difference. The iPhone 16 Pro, for instance, reportedly suffered up to a 40% GPU performance drop during sustained workloads. With the iPhone 17 Pro expected to house the new A19 Pro chip, a better cooling system isn’t just welcome, it’s reportedly essential.

Don’t expect VC cooling inside the non-Pro iPhone 17 models

The vapor chamber is also said to extend to the memory, modem, and even the rear camera module. That could help reduce heat-related issues during long 4K/8K video recordings or on-device AI-based tasks. Galaxy Z Flip7’s design refresh isn’t only about a larger cover display

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Flip7 and its more affordable sibling, the Z Flip7 FE, have leaked in full ahead of their official debut on July 9. New images give us a clear look at the design and color options for both models, and it turns out that the design changes to the more expensive model aren’t limited to the cover display.

Leaked press renders, shared by tipster Evan Blass, show the Z Flip7 in three colors: Blue Shadow, Jet Black, and a striking Coral Red. One of the standout upgrades is the larger 4-inch cover screen, which now wraps around the dual rear cameras. This is a noticeable step up from the 3.4-inch display on last year’s Z Flip6.

The updated design could allow the Z Flip7 to run full Android apps on its cover display—though Samsung hasn’t confirmed this yet. A closer look at the renders suggests the Flip7 is slimmer than its predecessor. If the scaling is accurate, it should measure around 6.4 to 6.5mm when unfolded, as noted by Notebookcheck. For comparison, the Flip6 comes in at 6.9mm when unfolded. Under the hood, the Flip7 is expected to feature the Exynos 2500 chipset, paired with a 4,174mAh battery and 25W charging.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE retains the design of the Z Flip6 and is rumored to be powered by the Exynos 2400e. While it’s still very early to comment on the real-world performance (as it relies on model-specific performance tuning), you can check out the Geekbench listings of the Flip7 and Flip7 FE to get a rough idea of what to expect.

The FE model is expected to feature a 3,700mAh battery—slightly smaller than the 4,000mAh one in the Z Flip6. Combined with a less power-efficient Exynos chip instead of a Snapdragon processor, battery life may disappoint some users. The camera setup also seems modest, with a 12MP main sensor, a 12MP ultrawide, and a 10MP front camera. Still, if the price lands around $750 as rumored, it could be a solid option for those wanting to try a foldable without breaking the bank.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Fold7 is still a few weeks away from launch, but that hasn’t stopped the leaks from heating up. A hands-on video with a dummy unit gives us an early look at how the next-gen foldable stacks up against its predecessor.

The video, shared by Korean YouTube channel TheSINZA, showcases what appears to be a Z Fold7 dummy model. While it’s not a working device, it offers a close approximation of the final design. Compared to the Z Fold6, the dummy reveals a noticeably slimmer profile. When folded, the alleged Z Fold7 dummy measures around 9mm thick, and just 4.5mm when unfolded—a significant trim-down from the Fold6’s 12.1mm and 5.6mm thickness. Weight has reportedly dropped as well, with the new model rumored to come in at 215g, making it significantly lighter than both the Z Fold6 (239g) and even the Galaxy S25 Ultra (218g).

The external screen also appears to be getting a size boost. The dummy shows a 6.5-inch cover display with a 21:9 aspect ratio, up from 6.3 inches, while the inner display is expected to grow to 8.2 inches. In terms of color, the Fold7 dummy was shown in Blue Shadow and Jet Black, likely among the launch color options. While details like camera specs remain unconfirmed, some rumors point to a 200MP main sensor—a significant upgrade if accurate.

Battery capacity is said to remain at 4,400mAh, which has sparked some debate, especially when compared to rivals like the Honor Magic V5 that packs a much larger 6,100mAh cell. Still, Samsung could limit the power consumption and offer an acceptable battery life.

Realme GT 8 Pro could pack anti-glare display tech similar to S25 Ultra

Realme may be stepping up its display game in a big way. According to new leaks, the upcoming GT 8 Pro is expected to feature a high-end anti-glare screen similar to the one used on Samsung’s premium Galaxy S25 Ultra. That could make it one of the most visually impressive phones Realme has ever launched.

The GT 8 Pro is rumored to arrive in Q3 or Q4 2025 with a 6.85-inch 2K OLED display sourced from Samsung. What sets it apart is the AR anti-glare coating, a treatment that debuted on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s designed to significantly reduce reflections, making content easier to see outdoors and in harsh lighting.

Still, Realme has a track record of delivering strong value. The GT 7 Pro launched at ₹59,999 in India (around $690), a far cry from the $1,299 starting price of Samsung’s S25 Ultra. If Realme can keep the GT 8 Pro priced competitively, it could be a serious contender.

The display will likely support Dolby Vision and a 120Hz refresh rate, putting it in the same league as Samsung’s 2,600-nit HDR10+ panel, though brightness and durability specifics are still under wraps. The GT7 Pro, for context, reaches a global peak brightness of 2000 nits and local peak brightness of 6500 nits. More details should emerge as we head closer to its expected late-2025 launch.

Next-Gen OnePlus & Oppo Phones Will Finally Feature Magnetic Wireless Charging

Apple‘s MagSafe technology has been a staple for its iPhones. However, the Qi2 standard that supports magnetic wireless charging is still a rarity on Androids. Oppo and OnePlu s took advantage of certain cases to launch some magnetic accessories in the recent past, but a fresh report claims that the next-gen smartphones might feature this technology without needing a special protective cover.

Future OnePlus & Oppo Phones May Support Magnetic Wireless Charging

The news arrives from known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the details on Weibo. In the online post, he claimed that Oppo (and likely OnePlus) is developing true magnetic wireless charging for its future devices. The Oppo Mag (vs MagSafe) line of accessories released in China was only compatible with cases with built-in magnets, but future models would house it within their chassis.

This technology will likely make its debut in premium next-gen smartphones like the OnePlus 15 or the Oppo Find X9 series. DCS further adds that Oppo is working on the technology with a new design that will allow it to avoid Apple’s MagSafe patent. But regardless of how it sounds, it won’t be compatible with actual MagSafe compatible accessories from Apple or third party sellers like Anker.

The tipster stated that the source close to the matter said that this technology will take up space in the internals, causing a slight shrinkage in battery size. But this is where the silicon carbide (SiC) battery tech comes in. Oppo would’ve been able to pack a massive 6,800mAh or 7,000mAh battery pack without this magnetic tech. So the capacity might not push the ludicrous figures in next gen models.

Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 design and Geekbench scores revealed ahead of launch

Xiaomi is preparing for a large-scale product launch on June 26 in China, where it will unveil a slate of new devices, including the Redmi K80 Ultra, the Redmi K Pad, and a new 12.5-inch Pad 7S Pro.

Also on the docket is the Mix Flip 2, the company’s second-generation foldable flip phone. Ahead of the announcement, Xiaomi has shared official images of the device, and it’s already been spotted in early Geekbench performance tests.

Visually, the Mix Flip 2 doesn’t stray far from the template set by its predecessor. The cover screen still has two camera cutouts arranged vertically. While the device appears to have a minimal screen bezel.

From the press images shared by Xiaomi, the phone will be available in at least three color finishes: green, gold, and purple.

More interestingly, the Mix Flip 2 has appeared in the Geekbench database under the model number 2505APX7BC. According to the test results, the phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The same SoC powers the Honor’s upcoming Magic V5 and Oppo Find N5.

The foldable scores 2835 points in the single-core test and 8550 points in the multi-core test. The Geekbench listing also confirms 12GB as one of its memory options, and Android 15 OS out of the box.

It is expected to ship with a 6.85-inch LTPO AMOLED main screen with around 1.5K resolution, paired with a large dual-curve external display. On the outside, it may feature a 4.01-inch cover display that will offer an improved user experience.

The foldable is also said to support IPX8 water resistance and 50W wireless charging, along with a combined battery capacity of around 5,050mAh with 67W fast charging.

Huawei quietly confirms Pocket 2 Premium Edition

Huawei has officially confirmed the Pocket 2 Premium Edition, a slightly reworked version of its vertical foldable, through a post on its Weibo account. The announcement doesn’t offer much in terms of new features, but it does lock in pricing, color variants, and a release timeline.

The Premium Edition will be available in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB of storage for 5,499 yuan, and a 512GB version for 5,999 yuan. Interestingly, the price is about 2,000 yuan cheaper than the standard Pocket 2, which originally launched starting at 7,499 yuan.

It’s a noticeable discount, though the “premium” moniker doesn’t seem to correspond with a more capable spec sheet, at least not based on what Huawei is saying publicly.

Color options for the Premium model include Tahitian Grey, Rococo White, Taro Purple, and Elegant Black. These are the same finishes we’ve seen before, and visually, the teaser doesn’t show much to distinguish this variant from its higher-priced sibling.

Huawei hasn’t confirmed changes to the internal hardware yet, but earlier reports have hinted at a possible chipset upgrade to the Kirin 9020A, which allegedly delivers a 35% performance bump over the Kirin 9000s used in the current Pocket 2. Whether this claim holds up will likely be settled during or after the sales event.

The Pocket 2’s base specs remain unchanged on paper. It features a 6.94-inch OLED main screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a smaller 1.15-inch OLED cover screen. The camera setup includes a 50MP main shooter with OIS, a 12MP ultrawide, an 8MP telephoto, and a 2MP hyperspectral sensor. On the front, there’s a 10.7MP ultrawide camera.

The device still runs HarmonyOS 4.0, has a 4520mAh battery with 66W wired charging, and supports IPX8 water resistance. Other carry-over features include UV protection testing, satellite messaging via Beidou, and a few cosmetic perks like animated pet themes.

Sales for the Pocket 2 Premium Edition begin June 26 at 10:08 AM through VMall and Huawei-authorized stores in China. The device won’t likely make its way outside of the Chinese market.

For photography, the Redmi K80 Ultra is set to feature a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor (1/1.55-inch sensor size), which is likely a custom OmniVision sensor. Xiaomi is gearing up for a major launch event that will take place in China on June 26, where the brand will unveil the Xiaomi YU7 SUV, Mix Flip 2, Redmi K Pad, and Redmi K80 Ultra, among others. While the pricing details are still at large, we can expect the Redmi K80 Ultra to continue the aggressive pricing strategy like its predecessor, the Redmi K70 Ultra. Samsung is bringing one of its coolest video features to more affordable phones. Thanks to a new update, the Galaxy A36 and A56 can now apply slow-motion effects to regular videos — no fancy equipment or pro editing skills needed.

The feature comes through Samsung’s Galaxy Enhance-X app

The Galaxy Enhance-X app now includes an AI-powered “Slow Mo” mode. It’s similar to the Instant Slow Mo feature found on flagship devices like the Galaxy S25 series. Announced via Samsung’s community forum, the update makes it possible to add smooth slow-motion to any video, even if it wasn’t originally recorded in slow-motion.

For anyone who enjoys sharing content online, this could be a fun way to highlight dramatic or emotional moments, sports clips, or just elevate everyday memories. With a simple tap while the video plays, you can slow down a section, then release to go back to normal speed — up to three slow-motion moments per clip.

On the Galaxy A56, the feature is built directly into the Gallery app. For the A36, it works through the Galaxy Enhance-X app version 15.2.17. This feature uses AI to generate new frames required for a smoother slow-motion effect. According to Samsung, the AI-generated frames does not affect the clarity of the video.

Google’s next-gen foldable, the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, is shaping up to be both slimmer and more durable. A fresh leak has revealed an upgrade in terms of its water and dust resistance over its predecessor, along with a sleeker new design. So here’s what we know.

Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold: Slimmer & Tougher?

The news arrives from an AndroidHeadlines report, which claims that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is getting a thinner hinge mechanism this year. This would help slim down the phone as well to better compete with competitors like the Samsung Galaxy Fold 7. So the overall feel of the upcoming foldable device is likely getting easier to hold. But one of the biggest upgrades is the new IP68 rating.

If this report is true, then the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold is the first foldable phone with such a rating. A typical foldable phone forgoes dust proofing but features water resistance like an IPX8 rating. Samsung’s new flagship foldable, the Galaxy Z Fold 7, is also bringing an IP48 rating for upgraded resistance to the elements. This makes the Google foldable one of the toughest of its kind. For those unaware, the “6” in IP68 means a dust tight body, while the “8” refers to the ability to withstand water submersion up to one meter for 30 minutes.

Google is expected to make its global debut on August 20. A recent set of leaked renders showcases a design that resembles the Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Meanwhile, a massive rumor revealed that the cameras of the entire Pixel 10 lineup hints that the Pixel 10 Pro Fold is retaining the exact same camera setup with minor changes to the primary shooter. So the 12MP Samsung 3J1 telephoto shooter and 12MP Samsung 3J1 ultra wide angle lens are paired with a 50MP Sony GN8 sensor.

The hype behind Nothing‘s upcoming launch event is building up. The brand’s first ever “true flagship” phone is set to debut at the start of next month, along with a new audio product, the Nothing Headphone (1). This is the first-ever headphones from Nothing, and we finally have some details along with a proper look at its unique design. So let’s check it out.

Nothing Headphone (1) certification reveals quite a bit

Ahead of the July 1st announcement, the Nothing Headphone (1) was spotted getting certified on Taiwan’s NCC database, carrying the B170 model number. The listing revealed a bunch of information, along with live images that showcase its over-the-ear design. We can see the headphones from multiple angles with the black earcups, rectangular shell that houses a transparent oval cassette-inspired module that houses the drivers.

This gives it a unique retrofuturistic look. It is unclear whether we get the iconic Glyph LED interface with these new headphones, but more details and teasers should surface soon. Nothing is reportedly planning to release the Headphone (1) in multiple color options, which may include black, red, and a gray variant. The NCC certification houses a toggle for ANC or power, a microphone, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.

The USB cable included in the box can also be seen in this listing. One notable detail revealed by the certification is the sizeable 520mAh battery pack, which is expected to support 5W wired fast charging. The European pricing of the Nothing Headphone (1) was recently revealed, hinting at a 299 Euro price tag.

OnePlus 13 and Ace 5 get ColorOS 15.0.0.831 update with game camera, remote PC control & AI utilities

ColorOS has released a significant update for the OnePlus 13 and Ace 5 smartphones in China. The version 15.0.0.831 rollout was officially announced in the 42nd weekly version upgrade post on the OnePlus Community, and it introduces several new features aimed at improving productivity, gaming, and overall system experience.

What’s new in this update?

The update adds remote control support for Windows PCs, allowing users to access files and control their computer screens directly from their phones. This turns the OnePlus 13 and Ace 5 into useful tools for light productivity and remote file access.

OnePlus 13 users also receive a new cross-device communication feature that works without needing to manually enable the WLAN toggle. This improves device interoperability, especially in multi-device setups.

ColorOS 15.0.0.831 introduces a “Game Camera” feature that allows players to capture gameplay moments using one-click replay and live screenshots. In supported games like Honor of Kings, users can also team up by simply bumping two devices together. This proximity-based pairing streamlines local multiplayer setups.

The update enhances the “Xiaobu Memory” feature with smart screen clipping via three-finger swipe gestures. It also introduces AI categorization and summarization, helping users manage captured content more efficiently.

The AI Document app gains a new mind map generator, allowing for quick visual organization of ideas. ColorOS has also added a new “Usage Tips” app, a speaker water-ejection function under Phone Manager, and stricter permission control for sideloaded apps on the OnePlus 13.

Honor Magic V5 hands-on images and leaks reveal complete design and key specs

Honor Magic V5 is set to launch on July 2, 2025. But ahead of the official debut, leaked hands-on images and detailed specs have surfaced, offering a comprehensive look at what could be the thinnest horizontal foldable yet—without compromising on battery life or flagship features.

Hands-on images shared by tipster Digital Chat Station show a slim and refined design—possibly even thinner than Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7, which is expected to measure 4.54mm when unfolded and include a much smaller 4,400mAh battery.

The Magic V5 has already been confirmed to measure just 8.8mm when folded, which makes it 0.1mm slimmer than the Oppo Find N5 and the slimmest foldable Android so far. The predecessor, the Magic V3, measures 9.2mm when closed. The Magic V5 also undercuts the weight of many premium smartphones, coming in at only 217g—lighter than the Galaxy S25 Ultra by a single gram, Magic V3 by 9g, and the Find N5 by 12g.

Despite the slim and lightweight profile, Honor hasn’t held back on battery capacity. The Magic V5 packs a 6,100mAh silicon-carbon battery—reportedly the largest in any foldable—supported by 66W wired and 50W wireless charging.

The Magic V5 is expected to come with a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide (13mm), and a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x (70mm) optical zoom. Honor hasn’t revealed the exact sensor sizes yet, but recent hands-on photos reveal a noticeably raised camera bump, even thicker than the unfolded device itself—hinting at larger sensors under the hood. For comparison, the previous model used a 1/1.56″ 50MP main sensor and a 1/2.51″ 3.5x (90mm) periscope telephoto. Combined with rumored image processing upgrades, the Magic V5 could bring a meaningful step up in photography and video quality.

The device runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite, and reportedly includes a 6.45-inch LTPO OLED cover display and a large 7.95-inch 2K foldable inner display. Whether the Magic V5 can live up to the hype remains to be seen, but based on early leaks, it’s shaping up to be one of the most ambitious foldables of the year.

Another high-end compact smartphone has made its way to the global market. This time around, the OnePlus 13s is getting a new competitor with the Vivo X200 FE. The device has just debuted in Taiwan, with its design, specs, and features finally being confirmed. So here’s everything you need to know.

Vivo X200 FE: What does it offer?

The Chinese tech giant has managed to jam-pack a bunch of great hardware in a relatively small form factor. The Vivo X200 FE sports a 6.31-inch LTPO AMOLED display, which is marginally smaller than even the OnePlus 13s. This panel offers FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ along with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Vivo-X200-FE-color-options — Vivo X200 FE

A massive 6,500mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 90W wired fast charging. Despite these hefty specs, it only weighs 186 grams and measures 7.99mm in terms of thickness. So, despite being ever-so slightly thinner than the OnePlus 13s, you get a bigger battery and a Zeiss-tuned triple camera setup on the rear. These include a 50MP Sony IMX921 primary sensor, a 50MP Sony IMX882 telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultra wide angle lens.

Except for the ultra wide, the other two cameras are the exact same as the flagship Vivo X200. For selfies and video calls, you get a 50MP shooter on the front. Other notable features include an IP68+IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, color temperature sensor, IR blaster, and much more. This model has been announced in Taiwan for 26,999 NTD (or roughly around 910 US Dollars) for the 512GB variant. It is also listed for 5,498 HKD in Hong Kong (roughly 700 US Dollars) and 2,999 RM in Malaysia.

Philips launches 27-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor with a staggering 500Hz refresh rate

Philips has launched a new high-end gaming monitor, the 27M2N8500X, in China. The monitor is now available on JD.com, priced at 5999 yuan (approximately $835).

The monitor features a 27-inch QD-OLED panel with a resolution of 2560×1440 pixels and a refresh rate of 500Hz, making it one of the fastest gaming monitors currently on the market.

The display uses fourth-generation QD-OLED technology and supports a grey-to-grey response time of 0.03ms. Philips has factory-calibrated the panel to achieve an average DeltaE<2 for accurate color output. The monitor supports native 10-bit color and covers 100% sRGB, 98% AdobeRGB, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamuts.

It holds the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification and reaches a peak brightness of 1000 nits in a 3% window. The static contrast ratio is rated at 1,500,000:1. Philips also includes ClearMR 21000 certification for high motion clarity. The monitor supports ambient backlighting with Ambiglow technology, controlled by a custom ICH chip across eight dynamic lighting zones.

The 27M2N8500X includes a set of gaming-oriented features such as AI-based dark field control, a customizable sniper scope magnifier, and dynamic crosshair color adjustments. It supports both software and hardware-level low blue light modes and includes flicker-free technology to reduce eye fatigue.

For connectivity, the monitor features two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 2.1, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports, a USB-B upstream port, and a headphone out jack. It supports USB hub functionality to allow peripheral connections through a single cable.

The included stand supports height adjustment up to 130mm, swivel up to ±30 degrees, and tilt from -5 to 20 degrees. The monitor also supports VESA 100x100mm mounting. It weighs 5.84kg without the stand and 7.17kg with the stand.
