Samsung has launched the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra cordless vacuum globally, following its introduction at the Welcome to Bespoke AI event. It succeeds the Bespoke Jet AI with updates including a 400W motor, AI-driven cleaning, and improved filtration.

The vacuum uses a HexaJet Motor with a hexagonal stator, second-stage diffuser, and thinner impeller to deliver 400W of suction. Samsung says this design improves airflow and efficiency, allowing up to 100 minutes of runtime in the lowest power mode.

AI Cleaning Mode 2.0, powered by AI Optimum Tech, analyzes brush load and air pressure to adjust suction and brush speed across six environments. Galaxy S23 launcher crashing after One UI 7 Beta 2 update: here’s why and how to avoid it

Samsung’s Galaxy S23 users diving into the One UI 7 Beta 2 are hitting a frustrating issue: the home launcher keeps crashing. While the latest beta, part of the flagship’s new testing phase, packs welcome upgrades, a pesky bug tied to Google’s Gemini assistant is souring the experience for some.

One UI 7 Beta 2 rolled out recently for the S23 series, touting fixes and enhancements like full Drawing Assist, natural language search, and Now Bar tweaks—polishing the Android 15-based update for a smoother user experience. But for several S23 owners, it’s been anything but smooth.

Gemini Live mode seems to be the culprit

The culprit? Gemini Live mode, pre-installed on recent Galaxy devices, powers the Google Assistant with the long-press power key. Things work fine while Gemini Live stays on-screen, overlaying the home interface with live notifications in the status bar.

The system UI crashes when it’s sent to the background. The One UI launcher freezes up—apps open with a tap, but gestures like swiping no longer function in that situation. Lock the phone, unlock it, and it returns to the same state. Soon enough, a “System UI isn’t responding” alert pops up, offering two choices: “Close app” to reboot the launcher (ditching all open apps) or “Wait,” which just stalls until the crash message loops again.

Touch works, but the frozen gestures and inevitable crash make it a chore. Daily drivers of the S23 series who are yet to install the Beta 2 update, are advised to wait for the next version as this one can be quite frustrating at times. Those who have already installed the update are currently stuck picking between a forced restart or “Wait”, hoping the third beta fixes the issue. For now, avoiding Gemini Live mode seems to be the only workaround.

Samsung failed to keep its promise with Galaxy A55’s One UI 7 update

Samsung promised a March rollout for the Android 15-based One UI 7 Beta on the Galaxy A55, but with April looming just minutes away, users are still empty-handed. As the only non-flagship device slated for the Beta Program, the A55’s update delay is raising questions about the company’s update policy.

While the Galaxy A55 is yet to receive the beta update, several Galaxy S and Z series devices are also currently stuck with it, and most of them are “expected” to receive the stable update starting in April. Some of them include the Galaxy S24, S23, S22 series, 6th and 5th generation foldables, and the Galaxy Tab S10, S19, and S8 series. According to the company, the stable rollout will begin starting April 7.

Galaxy A55 has yet to receive Android 15 beta

Moving back to the Galaxy A55, the One UI 7 beta rollout will be the first major OS upgrade. Unfortunately, the South Korean giant failed to keep its promise of rolling out the update within March. Despite Samsung’s Indian subsidiary teasing preparations via a Members Community noticeboard, the timeline’s slipping. And judging from the number and variety of more expensive models waiting for a stable rollout, the A55 users may have to wait till the second half of April for the update.

The recent global launch of the Galaxy A26, A36, and A56—all shipping with Android 15 and One UI 7.0 out of the box—only underscores the A55’s odd limbo. If the beta does drop soon, its testing window might be squeezed short.

Samsung clearly wants the A55 to receive Android 15 soon, but the long list of flagships that are yet to receive the update is likely causing this delay. According to Samsung, One UI 7 is built from scratch, which is why the rollout is delayed this year. The Galaxy A55 still has some time before receiving the stable Android 15 update. Even at launch, the Nintendo Switch launched with underpowered hardware. But Nintendo’s exclusive titles like The Legend of Zelda series got impressive optimization, bringing some of the best art styles in video games despite being limited in terms of hardware. But with the Nintendo Switch 2, the upgrades to the internals will help give games extra room to breathe.

Based on our previous reports, the upcoming gaming handheld will feature a new customer Nvidia Tegra chipset, which could potentially match the performance of the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. This would allow for gaming at a higher resolution, more detailed textures, and the use of more advanced lighting effects. Nintendo has yet to reveal an official launch window for the Switch 2, but it will unveil the console during the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. This event is set to take place on 2nd April 2025 at 6 PM PST. Recent leaks have suggested that the new handheld gaming console could be priced between $399 and $499 owing to upgraded hardware and other factors. So it is about $100 to $200 more expensive than the first iteration.

TCL T7L QD-Mini LED TV Specifications

The T7L lineup is built around TCL’s Quantum Dot Pro 2025 technology, offering a 98% DCI-P3 color gamut for vivid and color-accurate visuals. The TVs utilize Huaxing’s high-end HVA panel with a polyimide-enhanced liquid crystal alignment, ensuring excellent contrast and wide 178° viewing angles.

In addition, TCL’s Matrix Backlight Zone technology enables precise local dimming, with zone counts ranging from 480 in the 55-inch model to 840 in the 85-inch variant. Despite fewer zones compared to some higher-end TVs, TCL claims its backlight control and contrast outperform typical 1000-zone Mini LED implementations.

For audio, TCL has partnered with Onkyo to equip all T7L models with a 2.1.2-channel Hi-Fi system. This includes upward-firing speakers and a built-in subwoofer, delivering an immersive Dolby Atmos experience ideal for both movies and gaming. Speaking of gaming, the T7L supports HDMI 2.1 on all four ports, 4K 144Hz input, AMD FreeSync, and MEMC motion compensation—providing ultra-smooth, tear-free visuals for high-frame-rate gaming.

Smart features are powered by TCL’s Lingkong OS 3.0, which offers a clean, ad-free interface with a customizable 4K-resolution UI. Internally, the TVs are powered by a quad-core A73 processor, Mali-G57 GPU, 4GB RAM, and 64GB storage. They also support Wi-Fi 6 and include TCL’s TSR image quality AI chip and the new Fuxi AI Model—an in-house large language model tailored for smart TVs. This AI assistant boosts voice interaction, personalized recommendations, and generative content capabilities.

Design-wise, the TVs adopt a modern and minimal aesthetic with an 8mm ultra-thin bracket for flush-to-wall mounting. Connectivity options are plentiful, including USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports, LAN, AV input, optical output, and an antenna port.

Alongside its new TVs, TCL has also introduced the Z100 Soundbar, a modular, room-aware audio system designed with Dolby Atmos support.

LG Unveils New Gram 15 Laptop with AMD Krackan Point, Weighs Only 1.29 kg

LG has recently introduced its new Gram 15 laptop (model 15Z80T), powered by AMD’s “Krackan Point” processors. AMD’s Krackan Point processors are a new line of laptop APUs designed for balanced performance and power efficiency. They use a hybrid core setup, combining Zen 5 (performance) and Zen 5c (efficiency) cores, with up to 8 cores and 16 threads in total. These chips include integrated Radeon 860M graphics based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, offering up to 8 Compute Units, which can handle everyday graphics tasks and light gaming.

LG Gram 15 (15Z80T) laptop features

The new Gram 15 laptop remains quite lightweight, weighing just 1.29 kg and measuring 17mm thick. It has a 15.6-inch IPS panel that offers Full HD resolution with 350 nits of brightness. Under the hood, the laptop features up to an AMD Ryzen AI 7 350 APU, which has four Zen 5 performance cores, four Zen 5c efficiency cores, 24MB cache, and Radeon 860M integrated graphics with 8 RDNA 3.5 units. Buyers can expect up to 32GB RAM and 1TB SSD storage.

Connectivity includes two USB-C ports, two USB 3.2 Type-A ports, HDMI, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a 1080p webcam with dual microphones. Stereo 1.5W speakers are also included, and the machine draws power from a 72Wh battery. Currently, the pricing and availability details of the laptop are under wraps. That said, we can expect the Gram 15 (15Z80T) laptop to be cheaper than comparable laptops featuring AMD Strix point processors.

In other news, LG has launched the UltraGear 27G850A gaming monitor in the US and UK, priced at $799.99 and £749.99 (incl. VAT), respectively. It features a 27″ Nano IPS Black panel with a 2000:1 contrast ratio, dual-mode (4K@240Hz or 1080p@480Hz), 1ms GtG response, 99% DCI-P3, and HDR brightness up to 670 nits.

Xiaomi is planning on releasing its popular Redmi Note 14 Pro+ model in an elegant new color option soon. The company just shared an official teaser hinting at the smartphone getting a golden makeover. So here’s everything we know so far.

Redmi Note 14 Pro+ drops in Sand Gold soon

The Chinese tech giant’s official X handle (formerly Twitter) shared a fresh teaser that shared a short video highlighting the new color for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. This model will soon launch in Sand Gold, which joins the existing variants like the Black, Purple, and Blue. Xiaomi could be planning on unveiling the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in Sand Gold in the global market, with the model already being listed online. However, the exact launch date is still unclear.

To recall, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ sports a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 3000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. A large 5,100mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports an impressive 120W wired fast charging. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a 200MP main camera at the back along with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP shooter on the front.

Other notable features include Dolby Atmos support from its dual stereo speakers, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, NFC, IR blaster, and much more. Keep in mind that this is just a new color option and doesn’t bring upgrades in terms of hardware. So the pricing should be in line with the other variants.
