In certification platforms like FCC, IMEI, and UL Solutions, the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025) has surfaced. The listings have revealed some key details about the phone. The phone has surfaced with multiple model numbers – XT2517-1, XT2517-2, XT2517-3, and XT2517V. It indicates that Motorola is going to release different editions of this device in different markets.

The FCC certification reveals support for GSM, WCDMA, LTE, and 5G NR bands, which will ensure broad compatibility with global networks. The device will also support Wi-Fi 6E, which will provide faster and more reliable wireless connectivity.

What to expect from the Moto G Stylus (2025)?

Physically, the Moto G Stylus (2025) is listed with dimensions of 146.2 mm x 71.8 mm x 7.5 mm, making it slimmer than the Moto G Stylus (2024), which measures at 8.3 mm. The battery is rated with a rated capacity of 4,850 mAh and a typical capacity of 5,000 mAh, the same as last year.

Accessories that are listed in the certifications include USB cables from Luxshare and Saibao, and finally, a stylus bearing the Techson brand, which all supports the fact that this might indeed be the Moto G Stylus 5G (2025).

Alleged Motorola Razr 60 Ultra gets certified in India earlier than expected

Motorola is reportedly gearing up for the next version in its Razr lineup. A Motorola phone with model number XT2551 has recently been spotted on India’s BIS portal. This device follows the model number sequence of the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra (XT2451), and hence, is expected to be the Razr 60 Ultra.

Motorola-Razr-50-Ultra

Motorola Razr 60 Ultra bagged the certification earlier than its predecessor

For reference, the predecessor bagged the BIS certification in April 2024, and it went live in India in July 2024. If Motorola keeps up with this pattern, then the Razr 60 Ultra may hit the stores around mid-2025. Details of the device, however, remain scarce, leaving everyone guessing as far as design and specifications are concerned.

The Indian smartphone market has been a bright growth area for Motorola, as the company registered its highest growth last year. According to 91mobiles, the Razr 60 Ultra could hit the shelves in the second quarter of 2025.

According to previous reports, the phone could be powered by the Snapdragon 8s Elite chip, which is said to be similar to the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in performance. You can check out the recently leaked benchmark insights of the chipset here.

What else to expect?

For perspective, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra sports a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, a 50MP primary camera, and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens. The device features a 4-inch outer display and a 6.9-inch inner display, in only 7.1mm thick, and weighs 189 grams. Compared to the Galaxy Z Flip6, the Razr 50 Ultra is differentiated by a higher screen-to-body ratio for the outer display, which means more space for app content and a premium look.

The Razr 60 Ultra is expected to build on these features with at least marginal improvements in both design and performance. Whether it’s a thinner profile, better battery life, or advanced camera capabilities, Motorola’s next flip phone could be an exciting choice for those seeking a foldable device in 2025. With its BIS certification already in place, the wait for more details on the Razr 60 Ultra might not be too long.

Should You Be Excited for the iPhone 17 Air?

Apple has always been synonymous with innovation, and its rumored iPhone 17 Air is already creating a buzz as one of the most exciting devices in the company’s illustrious history. The question on everyone’s mind is: Should you be excited for the iPhone Air? Let’s dive deep into what we know about this upcoming marvel and whether it’s worth the anticipation.

iPhone 17 Slim leak
iPhone 17 Air mock render

1. Breaking Down the iPhone 17 Air

The iPhone 17 Air is poised to introduce a groundbreaking level of thinness, making it the slimmest iPhone ever. According to reports, the iPhone 17 Air could be as thin as 5.5mm, surpassing the iPhone 6’s 6.9mm thickness, which has long held the title of Apple’s thinnest smartphone. Achieving such a sleek design would place the iPhone 17 Air closer to the dimensions of Apple’s iPad Pro lineup, known for their impossibly thin profiles.

However, the ultra-slim design isn’t just about aesthetics. Apple is reportedly leveraging cutting-edge Touch and Display Driver Integration (TDDI) technology, which combines the touch and display layers into a single unit, saving valuable space. This innovative approach also paves the way for Apple’s future foldable devices, with the iPhone 17 Air acting as a “testing ground for future technologies,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.

2. The ‘Air’ Branding

Apple’s use of the ‘Air’ suffix for its slimmest and lightest devices such as the MacBook Air and iPad Air has become iconic. With the iPhone 17 Air, Apple extends this branding to its smartphone lineup, signaling a new chapter in the iPhone’s evolution. By leveraging a name that resonates with thinness and portability, Apple ensures a seamless alignment with its existing product ecosystem.

3. What’s Under the Hood?

The iPhone 17 Air won’t just look stunning, it’s expected to pack some serious hardware. Apple’s A19 chip will power the device, promising improved efficiency and enhanced AI-driven features. It will also reportedly come with 8GB of RAM, making it one of the most powerful non-Pro iPhones yet. The device could debut Apple’s first in-house 5G modem, codenamed “Sinope,” signaling the company’s breakaway from reliance on Qualcomm.

Additionally, rumors suggest the phone will feature a 6.6-inch ProMotion OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a feature previously reserved for Pro models. The inclusion of such a display on a non-Pro model could set a new standard for mid-range smartphones.

4. Design Trade-Offs

While the iPhone 17 Air’s slim profile is undoubtedly its standout feature, achieving this level of finesse comes with compromises. Apple is reportedly opting for a single 48MP rear camera instead of the dual-lens systems found on other models. This minimalist approach could disappoint users accustomed to versatile camera setups.

Another trade-off might be the removal of the physical SIM card slot in favor of eSIM-only functionality. While this aligns with Apple’s vision for a wireless future, it could pose challenges in regions like China and India, where eSIM adoption is still limited.

5. Price and Market Positioning

The iPhone 17 Air is rumored to replace the underperforming Plus variant in Apple’s lineup, with a starting price of $899. While this positions it as a mid-range device, its innovative features and sleek design could justify a higher price point, making it a compelling choice for design-conscious users.

6. Should You Be Excited?

If you value design, portability, and being at the forefront of technological innovation, the iPhone 17 Air is undoubtedly worth your attention. However, if you prioritize a versatile camera system or traditional features like physical SIM cards, you might want to wait and see how the device performs in real-world scenarios. Either way, the iPhone 17 Air is shaping up to be one of the most intriguing smartphone launches of 2025.

Alleged iQOO Z10 Turbo spotted with Dimensity 8400, Redmi Turbo 4 rival could be launching soon

Redmi unveiled the Redmi Turbo 4 with the Dimensity 8400 onboard in China at the beginning of this year. The Poco X7 Pro, a rebranded version of the Turbo 4, has also debuted in markets outside of China. In February, Realme will announce the Realme Neo 7 SE equipped with the Dimensity 8400 SoC. A new development reveals iQOO is also prepping up a new phone powered by the same chipset.

Purported iQOO Z10 Turbo Geekbench listing spotted

iQOO Z10 Turbo Geekbench listing

Yesterday, the alleged iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro bearing the V2453 model number was found listed in Geekbench’s database. The listing revealed that the device will come equipped with the forthcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset.

Now, a new phone with a similar V2542 model number has also emerged in Geekbench’s database. The CPU and GPU (via source code) details available in the listing reveal that the device is powered by the Dimensity 8400. It further reveals that the iQOO Z10 Turbo has 12 GB of RAM and runs on Android 15.

In all likelihood, this device could be the iQOO Z10 Turbo. The inclusion of the D8400 chip indicates that it will rival the Redmi Turbo 4 and the Realme Neo 7 SE. It is speculated that the Z10 Turbo may debut with other models, such as the iQOO Z10x, Z10, and Z10 Turbo Pro.

The Z10 Turbo Pro is expected to debut as one of the first phones powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8s Elite chipset. Similarly, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is also anticipated to launch around the same time with the same chipset. As a result, both phones are expected to compete against each other in the market. The Redmi offering may pack a 7,500mAh battery with 90W fast charging support. The Z10 Turbo Pro, on the other hand, may house a 7,000mAh battery with 80W or 90W rapid charging.

Oppo Find N5’s camera module could be similar to OnePlus 13

Oppo recently confirmed that the much-awaited Oppo Find N5 will debut in China in February. According to the brand, the N5 will arrive as the world’s thinnest foldable phone. This indicates that the company may have worked on reducing the size of the camera bulge. A new leak by tipster Experience More sheds light on the design of the N5’s camera module.

Oppo Find N5 camera module leak

Oppo Find N5 camera module design leak

According to the tipster, the Oppo Find N5’s rear-facing round camera module has a simple layout, somewhat resembling the centred design of the OnePlus 13. The flash is positioned in the bottom-right corner, while the square-shaped periscope telephoto lens is in the top-left corner.

The Find N5’s camera bump is relatively well-controlled, though the slim profile of the device limits how much the protrusion can be reduced. As per reports, the thickness of the Find N5 could be around 8mm in the folded state and 4mm in the unfolded state.

OnePlus 13

The likely reason behind the Find N5’s camera module resembling that of the OnePlus 13 is that the Find N5 might be rebranded as the OnePlus Open 2 in markets like the US, Europe, and India. This suggests that the design of the Open 2 could be inspired by the OnePlus 13, ensuring a consistent design language and familiarity across both devices.

The Oppo Find N5 / Open 2 is expected to arrive with several improvements as compared to the previous generation. The device is expected to arrive with a titanium build, an IPX8 rating for water resistance, a battery of around 6,000mAh capacity, and wireless charging support.

The Find N5 is expected to debut as the world’s first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. With competing foldable phones set to arrive in the second half of 2025, it is likely to hold a significant market advantage.

Samsung may have dropped Bluetooth from Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen: Here’s what it means

Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra is generating a lot of buzz, but there may be a downside. A rumor from tipster Ishan Agarwal suggests that the S25 Ultra’s S Pen could lose its Bluetooth connectivity. If this turns out to be true, it could change the way users engage with the stylus. This rumor is based on Agarwal’s claims from unnamed “retail sources.”

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra 5G

The tipster indicates that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s S Pen might completely lose Bluetooth, which would mean losing advanced features like gesture controls and remote operation. But why is Samsung removing the feature?

According to reports, removing Bluetooth from the S Pen might reduce the power requirement and slightly enhance the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s battery life. However, the reported increase of only 15 to 20 minutes of battery life seems like a small trade-off for the loss of important features. As per 9to5Google, this could be a cost-saving strategy for Samsung.

What the loss of Bluetooth could mean for users

One significant feature that could be affected is the S Pen’s ability to remotely control the camera shutter—a popular function among photographers. Additionally, the removal of Bluetooth might eliminate the S Pen’s pairing capability, which currently allows users to switch between styluses with enhanced functionalities.

Without Bluetooth, the S25 Ultra’s S Pen can still be used for basic writing and note-taking, but users might miss the convenience of gestures and remote control features. For instance, the ability to take photos or control presentations from a distance with the stylus could be lost, which may limit its usefulness in professional and creative settings.

Although Samsung hasn’t officially confirmed this change, it could indicate a shift in how the S Pen is utilized within the Ultra lineup. Whether this potential compromise is viewed as an acceptable trade-off for slightly improved battery life is yet to be confirmed. For now, fans of the Galaxy Ultra series will need to wait for official announcements (scheduled for January 22) to find out how the S25 Ultra’s S Pen compares to its predecessors.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Series Roundup: Design, Specs, & More

The anticipation of Samsung’s upcoming flagship smartphones grows as next-gen devices from Chinese competitors have already hit the market. So ahead of the January 22nd launch date, here’s a complete roundup of the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and the Galaxy S25 Ultra.

Samsung-Galaxy-S25-series-price

1. Samsung Galaxy S25 & Galaxy S25+

The Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+ are the quite similar in many ways. The base model is a compact premium phone, while the Plus variant is more in line with most flagship devices in terms of size. Both models are equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC for Galaxy, which is basically an overclocked variant of Qualcomm’s high end chip. This is paired with a higher base RAM of 12GB and possibly higher. A 4,000mAh cell may power the base model and the S25+ houses a 4,900mAh battery. There is no word yet for an Exynos variant so far.

The former supports 25W wired fast charging, while the latter brings 45W wired fast charging. Samsung might have users pay for Qi2 wireless charging support. On the front, the base model may get a slightly larger 6.36-inch AMOLED display that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, FHD+ resolution, and more. Meanwhile, the Galaxy S25+ could sport a 6.7-inch panel with a higher QHD+ resolution. For optics, the duo will offer a 50MP (Main) + 10MP (Telephoto) + 12MP (Ultra Wide) cameras on the rear and a 12MP selfie shooter on the front.

2. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra

Arriving at the true flagship model of Samsung, we have the Galaxy S25 Ultra. This model boasts the best of the best. You can see this in the build quality as well. Samsung employs glass and titanium for the Galaxy S25 Ultra. The brand is even making it slightly narrower, slimmer, and lighter compared to its predecessor. But while the overall size is smaller, it is getting a sizeable 6.9-inch LTPO AMOLED display with a 1440p resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and second-generation Corning Gorilla Armor Glass.

Under the hood, it is equipped with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite along with 12GB of base RAM offering. The camera system isn’t seeing a massive change, with the rear featuring the same 200MP (Main) + 12 MP (Telephoto) + 50MP (Periscope Telephoto) + 50MP (Ultra Wide). For selfies and video calls, the front may feature a 10MP shooter. A large 5,000mAh battery pack could power this device, which supports 45W wired fast charging and Qi2 wireless charging as well.

Selling used Galaxy phones becomes easier than ever with ‘Galaxy Easy Compensation’: Here’s what you need to know

Samsung has just made it easier for Galaxy users in South Korea to sell their old phones. The company is introducing a new initiative called “Galaxy Easy Compensation,” allowing users to sell their old Galaxy devices directly through Samsung’s official website.

Representative image of ‘Galaxy Easy Compensation’

What’s even better? There’s no need to buy a new Galaxy device as part of the process. So, they will be able to switch to a different brand, after selling their old phone directly to Samsung. The program officially kicks off on January 14.

A hassle-free way to make the most out of your old Galaxy phone

With “Galaxy Easy Compensation,” Samsung is redefining what users do with their old phones. Here’s how it works: users can head to Samsung’s official website to check the estimated resale value of their eligible Galaxy devices.

If satisfied with the price, they can send their phones to Samsung via courier for evaluation. After inspection, Samsung will categorize the device into three conditions: “Excellent,” “Good,” and “Recycle,” based on the condition.

After that, the user will receive the appropriate compensation. As of now, the following Galaxy S series and Z series phones are eligible for the program:

  • Galaxy S20 series: S20, S20+, S20 Ultra
  • Galaxy S21 series: S21, S21+, S21 Ultra
  • Galaxy S22 series: S22, S22+, S22 Ultra
  • Galaxy S23 series: S23, S23+, S23 Ultra
  • Galaxy Z Flip series: Z Flip 3, Z Flip 4, Z Flip 5
  • Galaxy Z Fold series: Z Fold 3, Z Fold 4, Z Fold 5

What’s Missing?

Interestingly, Samsung’s latest flagship models, like the Galaxy S24 series and latest foldables, are excluded from the program. This could be Samsung’s way of emphasizing the value and relevance of its newest offerings. Additionally, more affordable Galaxy A and M series devices, as well as Galaxy tablets, laptops, and smartwatches, are not yet part of the initiative.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra S Pen

However, Samsung’s VP, Jeong Ho-jin, has hinted at plans to expand the program beyond South Korea in near future, although, no timeline or specific countries have been announced yet. Nonetheless, this move definitely enhances the long-term value of Galaxy products.

HyperOS 3 may arrive sooner than you think

The Android 15-based HyperOS 2.0 rollout kicked off in October and is still being rolled out to eligible devices. However, the next version, HyperOS 3.0, will be released much quicker, thanks to speedier Android 16 development.

Google has already released the first Android 16 developer preview, with the second scheduled for this month. According to the official release timeline, there’ll be a few public betas until March, and then Android 16 will enter the platform stability phase.

Google hasn’t shared the release date yet. However, leaks suggest that Android 16 will be released in early June. Last year, Android 15 was released in October. So, the new OS is coming way too early, and other brands, including Xiaomi, will also gear up to bring the Android 16-based HyperOS software as soon as possible.

While we don’t have the HyperOS 3.0 release date yet, we can definitely make a calculated assumption. Xiaomi usually releases the new version of HyperOS in the same month as the Android OS release. Take HyperOS 2.0, for example; it was released on October 29, a week after the Android 15 release. So, if everything goes the same way, HyperOS 3.0 should be released in June 2025.

As newer models often bring subtle yet impactful upgrades, comparing these two helps you understand what truly matters, be it durability, performance, or features. This guide dives into the key differences to help you make an informed choice based on your priorities.

1. Design and Display

The Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 3 share a sleek, modern design, but the materials set them apart. The Turbo 4 features a Gorilla Glass Victus front, plastic frame, and plastic back, striking a balance between durability and a lightweight build. It also has an IP68 rating, offering superior dust and water resistance, making it better suited for outdoor use compared to the Turbo 3’s IP64 rating. Both phones feature 6.67-inch AMOLED displays with a 120Hz refresh rate and vibrant color accuracy. However, the Turbo 4’s peak brightness of 3200 nits surpasses the Turbo 3’s 2400 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under harsh sunlight.

The Turbo 4’s improved durability and higher brightness make it a better choice for users who value ruggedness and outdoor usability. However, both models deliver immersive display experiences.

2. Specifications

Redmi Turbo 3

The Turbo 4 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, delivering faster clock speeds and improved multitasking compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 in the Turbo 3. Additionally, the Turbo 4 matches the Turbo 3 with a maximum of 1TB storage, ensuring ample space for data-intensive users. The Turbo 4’s 6550mAh Si/C battery offers significantly more capacity than the Turbo 3’s 5000mAh Li-Po battery. Both phones support 90W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups.

The Turbo 4’s larger battery and efficient performance make it a superior option for heavy users, while its equivalent storage and RAM options provide parity with the Turbo 3 for those needing extensive capacity.

3. Camera
