The Xiaomi 15 is expected to be the first to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, but several other brands are also vying for this distinction. One of these is iQOO, which is rumored to feature the 8 Gen 4 in its upcoming iQOO 13 smartphone.
Today, tipster Digital Chat Station shared on Weibo that the iQOO 13’s engineering sample is currently being tested with a flat OLED 8T LTPO display with a resolution of 2800 x 1260 pixels or 1.5K.
As mentioned earlier, the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The leak further suggests a big battery for the device but didn’t reveal its exact size.
Another tipster Smart Pikachupreviously revealed that the iQOO 13 will feature a 6000mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. Its predecessor, iQOO 12 has a 5000mAh cell so that’s a good increase in battery capacity.
