AGM is a brand known for rugged smartphones and feature phones. Last year, the company released its first-ever rugged tablet called AGM Pad P1. After its initial launch in China, the product was even announced for global markets at IFA 2023.

Just a few months later, the brand has now unveiled a successor to this tablet. The new model officially goes by AGM Pad P2. It is being showcased at the ongoing MWC 2024 conference.

AGM Pad P2 Specifications

The AGM Pad P2 is not a rugged waterproof tablet like its predecessor AGM Pad P1. The new device is marketed as a light & thin tablet as it measures just 7.5mm in thickness and weighs 530g.

The product flaunts a larger 10.95-inch display compared to a 10.36-inch screen on the older model. This LCD panel offers a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, a 90Hz refresh rate, and 400 nits brightness level.

The latest tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. The chipset is paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. On the software front, it boots Android 14.

The device has a 50MP Samsung ISOCELL JN1 rear camera and an 8MP front-facing camera. It offers quad speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a MicroSD card slot.

The tablet arrives with multiple connectivity options, such as dual SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, and USB Type-C.

Last but not least, the device draws energy from a 7,850mAh battery and supports 20W charging

The AGM Pad P2 is priced at $199 for the sole 8GB + 256GB memory configuration. It is worth noting that the pricing may differ across regions.
