At MWC 2024, ZTE introduced a bunch of new devices including the Nubia Pad 3D II, the Nubia Music phone, and the Nubia Flip 5G clamshell smartphone. Other than these devices, the brand has also unveiled the standout Nubia Neo 2 5G, aimed at gamers looking for high-quality features without breaking the bank.

The Neo 2 5G sports a 6.72-inch 2400 X 1080p screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, offering clear and smooth visuals. And for sound, it has stereo speakers and DTS:X Ultra audio.

The device is built for long gaming sessions, featuring a large 6,000 mAh battery and 33W fast charging. It also introduces dual gaming shoulder triggers for better control, customizable to fit any player’s needs.

Although the exact CPU hasn’t been revealed, the phone will be powered by a 2.7GHz processor. Storage-wise, the Nubia Neo 2 5G offers up to 256 GB and includes a unique ’20 GB dynamic RAM’ feature for improved performance. Despite these features, ZTE plans to sell the phone starting at $199, significantly lower than many competitors, making it an attractive option for gamers on a budget.

The brand has yet to reveal some features like the display type, processor, and camera details. We can expect these details to be revealed in the coming months. If we look at its predecessor, the Nubia Neo 5G, it features a Full HD+ ISP LCD panel and a Unisoc T820 SoC. It has two cameras on the back, a main 50-megapixel sensor, and an auxiliary 2-megapixel sensor. As for the front camera, the Neo 5G launched with an 8-megapixel sensor.
