ASUS has refreshed its ExpertBook P3 lineup, this time packing AMD’s newly announced Ryzen AI Pro 300 series processors. The updated launch offers a solid blend of performance and efficiency on the latest Ryzen CPUs that also feature a dedicated NPU. So here’s everything you need to know.

ASUS ExpertBook P3: What’s new?

The brand just unveiled the ExpertBook P3 in two size variants, namely a 14-inch and a 16-inch model. Both models are equipped with AMD’s latest Krackan Point CPUs. So buyers can opt for either the Ryzen AI Pro 7 350 (eight cores) or the Ryzen AI Pro 5 330 (four cores). On the front, you get a WUXGA (2100 x 1920) resolution panel that have anti glare and a 144Hz refresh rate.

A 70Wh battery pack powers both models. Connectivity options include triple band WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C ports, two USB Type-A ports, an HDMI port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. ASUS’s new ExpertBook P3 arrive with military grade durability (MIL-STD-810H), which offers protection against drops of up to 100mm. Other notable features included a Kensington lock slot and a backlit chiclet keyboard.

ASUS announced the 14-inch and 16-inch variants in two storage configurations. The Ryzen AI Pro 5 330 option with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD is priced at 1,149.99 US Dollars for the 14-inch laptop, while the 16-inch version costs 1,179.99 US Dollars. On the other hand, the Ryzen AI Pro 7 350 with 32GB of RAM and 1TB of SSD storage is priced at 1,479.99 US Dollars and 1,509.99 US Dollars, respectively. The duo will go on sale in Q4 2025.

ASUS has just announced its latest ExpertBook series, featuring the ExpertBook B9 OLED, B56 OLED, and B54 laptops, all powered by 13th Gen Intel Core processors. These laptops are designed to boost productivity and offer robust performance, security, and style for modern business users.

The ExpertBook B9 OLED is remarkably lightweight, weighing only 990 grams, thanks to its premium magnesium-lithium alloy construction. The ExpertBook B5602CVA impresses with its 16-inch 4K OLED display with HDR support. Security features include Intel vPro support, TPM 2.0, fingerprint login, IR HD camera, and webcam shield.

ASUS ExpertBook B5402C and B5402F offer ultraportable versatility. They come in two variants, one with a minimalist clamshell chassis and the other with a flip touchscreen and garaged stylus. Both variants are thin and lightweight, with up to 12-hour battery life. They feature up to 13th Gen Intel Core i7 vPro P-series processors, Iris Xe graphics, up to 40 GB fast DDR5 upgradable RAM, Wi-Fi 6E, and dual 2 TB SSD support with RAID 0/1. Enterprise-grade security features include vPro, TPM 2.0, IR and fingerprint login, webcam shield, AI noise cancellation, and NumberPad.

These laptops offer excellent connectivity with dual USB-C with Thunderbolt 4 & USB4, triple 4K display output, fast-charging support, full-sized RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet, and HDMI. They meet MIL-STD 810H U.S. military standards and undergo rigorous ASUS internal testing.

Asus has a starting price tag of US$1,840.85 on the ExpertBook B9 with 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. There is also a 32GB/2TB option with a US$2,439.99 price tag, however, it is currently on a 7% discount and is going for US$2,266.89 on Amazon.com in the US.

The ExpertBook B9 is a 14-inch business laptop with a 33Whr battery that weighs only 880 grams (1.94 lbs). A larger battery version with a 66Wh battery pack is also available, although it is 1005 grams heavier (2.2 lbs). According to Asus, the larger model’s battery life can last up to 16 hours.

The B9 is powered by Intel’s 12th generation U series CPUs, which range in speed from the Core i5-1235U to the Core i7-1265U. With 10 cores, 12 threads, and a high clock speed of 4.8GHz, the i7-1265U CPU is the fastest available. It may be configured with up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage and 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM.

The laptop boasts a 14-inch Full HD screen with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a backlit keyboard, and a touchpad that serves as both a physical keypad and a virtual one. ASUS ExpertBook B9 (B9450CBA) specs

Starting with the ExpertBook B9, it is a 14-inch business laptop that weighs just 880 grams (1.94 lbs) and comes with a 33Whr battery. There is also a bigger battery option with a 66Whr battery pack, but it weighs 1005 grams (2.2 lbs). Asus has claimed that the heavier model is capable of up to 16 hours of battery backup.

Under the hood, the B9 houses Intel’s 12th generation U series processors starting from the Core i5-1235U and up to a Core i7-1265U. The top-end i7-1265U CPU has 10 cores, 12 threads, and a maximum clock speed of 4.8GHz. It can be configured with up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

The laptop has a 14-inch Full HD panel that offers a 16:9 aspect ratio and offers a backlit keyboard with a touchpad that doubles as a virtual keypad. Coming to the B7 flip, the 2-in-1 is offered in two display variants – QHD+ IPS touchscreen and Full HD IPS touchscreen. Both have a 16:10 aspect ratio, 72% NTSC color gamut coverage, and come with 400nits and 500nits brightness respectively.

Under the hood, the 2-in-1 comes powered by Intel’s 12th generation P series processors (up to Core i7-1270P) and offers Intel Iris Xe graphics. It comes with up to 64GB of RAM and up to 2TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD storage.

It has a 720p webcam coupled with an IR camera for Windows Hello face unlock. The 2-in-1 also has support for MPP pens and is offered with multiple ports like two Thunderbolt 4 ports, two USB Type-A ports, HDMI, mini DisplayPort, a micro HDMI port, a Smart Card reader, and a headphone jack. For connectivity, the device has a Nano-SIM slot with 5G support (optional), Dual-Band WIFI 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2.

Pricing & availability

The ExpertBook B9 has a starting price of $1300 while the 2-in-1 B7 Flip starts at $2100. Both of these machines will be available for purchase in Q3 of 2022.
