Bang & Olufsen has announced The Centennial Collection, a special edition lineup marking the company’s 100th anniversary. The collection reimagines three of its most iconic products: Beoplay H100, Beosound A5, and Beosound A9 5th Gen.

The collection draws inspiration from different decades of the brand’s history. It features checkered grill patterns inspired by early radios, the 1970s colour palette of Century Red, Chestnut Brown, and Century Blue, and brushed aluminium finishes that reflect the 1980s design era. Every product includes the “B&O Est. 1925” Anniversary logo and the founders’ quote, “A never failing will to create only the best.”

Beoplay H100 Century Brown

The Beoplay H100 headphones deliver immersive sound with titanium drivers, Dolby Atmos support, and advanced noise cancellation. The design features a Century Red leather headband, Chestnut Brown inner band and ear cushions, and Century Blue detailing. The glass disc in natural silver shows the anniversary logo, and the set includes a matching leather pouch in Century Red with Century Blue accents.

Beosound A5 Century Weave

The Beosound A5 portable speaker offers Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, long battery life, and wireless charging. Its paper raffia weave in Beige and Chestnut Brown recalls the 1950s chequered speaker grills. A brushed aluminium frame, Century Red leather strap, and Century Blue cable add contrast and character.

Beosound A9 Century Blue

The Beosound A9 5th Gen features seven drivers for room-filling sound. Wrapped in Kvadrat’s Centennial Cadence fabric, it combines Century Blue and Chestnut Brown in a bold checkered weave. The natural aluminium ring and brushed legs reflect Bang & Olufsen’s 1980s design style, with Century Blue feet and cable completing the finish.

Pricing & availability

The Centennial Collection will be available from October 22 at Bang & Olufsen stores and on bang-olufsen.com. Prices are €1500 / $1750 for Beosound A5, €4500 / $5500 for Beoplay A9, and €1800 / $2300 for Beoplay H100.

Bang & Olufsen Beo Grace: A True Audiophile Statement?

With the new Beo Grace, Bang & Olufsen aims to offer a true high end audio experience. These are the brand’s most expensive pair of earbuds yet, bringing premium build quality and advanced sound tech. The changing case alone is built with high quality aluminum with an IP57 rating for water and dust resistance. This also gets a pearl finish that can be paired with a bespoke leather pouch for an additional $400.

For $1500, the Beo Grace features Spatial Audio tech optimized by Dolby Atmos and an advanced Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation technology, which is apparently four times more effective than the previous flagship earbuds. The ANC is powered by six studio grade microphones that adjust the ANC levels in real time. One interesting feature is tactile controls that allow users to press the earbuds for quick access to music controls and volume levels.

Bang & Olufsen is also advertising a TrueTransparency mode that claims to offer a more natural transparency mode for improved environmental awareness. The earbuds connect via Bluetooth via the earbuds or USB-C/AUX with the charging case. Other notable features include 12mm titanium drivers, AAC and SBC audio codecs support, and 4.5 hours of playback with ANC enabled, which can be bumped up to 17 hours with the charging case. These earbuds will go on sale on 17th November 2025.

Bang & Olufsen is back with another audio product, and this around, the Danish audio brand was announced the 3rd Gen Beosound A1. This is a tiny Bluetooth speaker that features a new and improved design that is both eco friendly and repairable. So here’s everything you need to know.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound A1 Debuts: Repairable & Sustainable

The 3rd generation of Beosound A1 brings a few upgrades from its predecessor, but keeps the compact and pebble shaped form factor. It has a minimalistic design with an aluminum chassis, which houses a larger woofer. It promises to offer 64 decibels of bass, which is slightly higher than the 2nd Gen model. Most of these updates aren’t huge but Bang & Olufsen is being clear regarding the actual upgrades, which is the design itself.

The company has built the speaker with an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance and a modular design that let’s users replace or upgrade broken or older parts. That’s not all, Bang & Olufsen’s Beosound A1 is the world’s first speaker to get a Bronze certification from Cradle to Cradle. For those unaware, C2C is sustainability standard that asses a product from its supply chain to production, ensuring that their is minimal waste. In other words, this speaker is built with sustainability in mind.

Other notable features include Bluetooth 5.1 support, up to 24 hours of battery life, Google Fast Pair support, three microphones with support for calling, and a Natural Aluminium finish. Bang & Olufsen unveiled the Beosound A1 3rd Gen was announced in a Honey Tone and Eucalyptus Green. It is available for purchase right now for 349 US Dollars. In related news, the iconic Beats Pill speaker got two new colors, while Sony unveiled the ULT Field 3 and Field 5 speakers in China recently.

The most anticipated device to be unveiled at IFA Berlin next week is the LG V30. The V30 will be the company’s second flagship of the year and will take on fellow Korean competitor, Samsung’s latest smartphone, the Galaxy Note 8.

LG has released a few teasers for the device, with some even taking a jab at the Galaxy Note 8. However, its latest one is titled “The Next V: Immersive Sound” and the twenty second video seems to advertise the audio prowess of the LG V30.

LG has placed a focus on the audio performance of its devices in recent times. The LG V20 has a Quad DAC that greatly improves the audio quality and the Korean version of the LG G6 has it too.

For the LG V30, news floating around says it will have audio enhancements from Bang & Olufsen. This won’t be their first partnership as the Korean version of the V20 shipped with Bang & Olufsen earphones. While there are few details as regard the “immersive audio”, we believe it won’t fail to impress when it arrives.

The LG V30 will have the same Full Vision design like the LG G6 and LG Q6. It will mark LG’s return to OLED displays too and will be the first of the V series to not have dual displays.
