According to a 9to5Google report, people have taken to Reddit and Samsung’s Community Forums to share their experiences with the new Galaxy Fan Edition handset. It seems that a few such reports have the users’ smartphones suffering from touchscreen related problems. This has varied from person to person in terms of what the issue actually is. In certain cases, the problem is the lack of response to taps and swipes or ghost inputs without the users’ input.

Editor’s Pick: Vivo V20 with 44MP selfie camera, 64MP triple rear cameras, and Snapdragon 720G launched in India for Rs 24,990 (~$340)

At the moment, the issues with the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition’s touchscreen isn’t that common apart from a few cases. However, such issues arriving just a few weeks into the launch of the device, so additional cases might be seen later on if it is related to the hardware of the device. The report also mentioned the device automatically entering “pocket” mode even when it is being held and used normally.

Thus, the diversities of these issues might be suggestive of a software bug, which can soon be patched out. However, if the display is actually faulty in certain units, then a replacement might be required. Unfortunately, it is still too early to tell what the actual issue is. So stay tuned for more updates, and hopefully, Samsung offers a fix soon.

The users are not receiving the Whatsapp, WeChat, SMS and other notifications on the Mi Band. Even though the vibration motor is malfunctioning for some users of the Mi Band devices. Both Google and Xiaomi are mud-slinging each other. However, no one is making efforts to solve the issue for several Mi Band users. The solution is primarily for the MIUI 11 users, but other users can also try to resolve it.

After getting the heat of Mi Band owners, the Chinese electronics maker is now trying to settle down the countless complaints. Xiaomi has issued a solution to fix the issue of the notification on the Android 10. The users need to make specific changes to the MIUI 11 devices to make it work.

The users should assign the notifications reminder permissions to the Xiaomi Sports app in MIUI 11. Follow the steps below to rectify MI Band Notifications issue on Android 10:

Open MIUI 11 Settings on your smartphone.

Now, Type for “Notifications” in the search drawer.

Select “Notifications Usage Rights” and tap “Mi Sports App” from the list.

Also, grant Notification permission to the Xiaomi Sports App in Android 10.

The majority of the Mi Band 3 and Mi Band 4 owners are getting these issues. We hope users will get respite from the notifications, not coming issues after using the above solution.

The “ghost touch” issue is widespread on many OnePlus 7 Pro units. The “ghost touch” or “phantom touch” issues arise when the phone starts tapping the display on its own. It can result in the malfunctioning of a particular app or the whole system. Some users even reported problems with the screen ignoring touches around the corners. In the meantime, users can temporarily turn off the NFC or reboot the device to solve the “ghost touch” issue on the OnePlus 7 Pro. It is also recommended to uninstall CPU-Z app.

The exact timeline for the update is not provided by the OnePlus. However, the company said to be rolling out the update very soon.

OnePlus announced the OnePus 7 Pro last month with Snapdragon 855 and 6.67-inch fluid AMOLED display. Its display comes with the QHD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate and support for HDR 10+. A triple rear camera module makes it perfect in the optics. It includes a 4000 mAh battery which supports 30W Warp Charge fast charging technology.

Recently, OnePlus 5/5T devices got bootloop issues after updating to Android 9.0 Pie. Now, OnePlus 6T users are complaining about a sudden battery drain inside their handsets. There are many different complaints that users have posted on the Reddit.

Some users have complained that they are having this issue for a couple of days. Their device’s battery has been cut off in half over the past few days. Users even troubleshooted their device using appropriate steps and guides, but nothing availed to respite. Mainly, users tried to enable background restrictions, clearing cache, updating phone to the latest build and a few other things.

While other user revealed that his total screen-on time has tremendously decreased from 6-7 hours to about 4 hours. Another user said that his OnePlus 6T is also suffering from heating problem along with sudden battery drain. Although in the end, some users managed to solve the issue by factory resetting their phone.

Overall, many users are reeling from similar kind of problems on OnePlus 6T. Despite the fact that it carries the largest battery of 3700 mAh capacity on any OnePlus device, the overall standby time has reduced significantly.

The reason is still unknown, but the users are continuously sharing their problems on Reddit. There might be some underlying issue that is causing such a battery discharge. We expect OnePlus to roll out an update fixing this battery bug. Moreover, users who don’t want to wait for an official update, they can factory reset their device to cure the sudden battery discharge on OnePlus 6T.

Well, how many users are having a similar problem on their OnePlus 6T device?
