Xiaomi still topped the chart on Shopee with Samsung following closely. Realme was ranked as number three while OPPO and Vivo completed the top 5.

The Double 12 record for Southeast Asia is a continuation of where the Chinese brand left off during the 11.11 sales festival. From November 1st to 11th, Xiaomi was able to set a number of new records. Xiaomi’s mobile phones, smart TV, and other categories emerged as the top-sellers on multiple platforms such as JD.com, Tmall, and Suning. Among them, Xiaomi smart TV brand ranked as number one on the TV category in both JD.com and Suning Tesco both ranked first in sales.

For this year’s Double 11, Xiaomi distributed 1 billion yuan in subsidies across all platforms which includes Xiaomi Mall, Xiaomi Home, Xiaomi Youpin, Tmall, JD.com, Suning, and others. The subsidies and discounts cover all major Xiaomi product brands including smart TV, notebooks, and AIoT products, covering all major brands under Xiaomi Category.

It is worthy of note that Xiaomi has been the top brand on Tmall’s singles’ day sales for seven consecutive years, that is since 2013.

The Chinese tech giant is set to battle for the leadership of the television market in Indonesia with the likes of Samsung, LG, Panasonic and others. The affordable Mi TV 4A 32-inch model is the company’s first smart TV to go official in Indonesia. The price of the cheap Mi TV 4A gets even cheaper in Indonesia where it is priced way cheaper than the 32-inch models by other competing brands. To complement the TV segment, Xiaomi also launched the Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A budget smartphones.

The Xiaomi Mi TV 4A (32 inches) uses a plastic housing with its entire body coming in black colour. As a result of the plastic body in use, the new Mi TV 4A comes with a highly reduced weight which is just 3.9Kg, making it suitable to be easily carried around. When the base is attached to the TV frame, the weight goes up to 3.94Kg.

On the specifications, the Mi TV 4A features a 32-inch display with a rather disappointing resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels and refresh rate of 60Hz. The TV has a viewing angle of 178 degrees. It is powered by a Quad-core 1.5GHz processor having four Cortex-A53 cores. The graphic is powered by a Mali-450 MP3 GPU while the processor is supported by 1GB of RAM and there is 4GB of storage space available inside. The Mi TV 4A (32) also comes with two 5W stereo speakers while available interface includes two HDMI, an AV port, an S/PDIF output, DTMB, USB port and a connector. The Mi TV 4A 32-inch version also runs Xiaomi TV PatchWall system meaning it has some smart features such as content recommendation according to user’s habit, seamless streaming of content and others.

As for the price, the Mi TV 4A 32-inch comes in at Rp. 1,999,000 which is about $134. You’ll agree this is an amazing price tag. It is even cheaper than the 1,099 yuan ($163) price tag with which it was unveiled in China last year. The smart TV will go on pre-order on Lazada on September 6 while open sales will commence on September 20 via Mi.com while offline sales on Mi authorized stores across Indonesia will commence on September 29.

First the smartphone did record colossal registration figures for its first flash sale. The flash sale itself was a thriller as all units up for grab were said to have been sold out in just 60 seconds. The second round of flash sale is set to commence today but that isn’t the only news coming in today. The Nokia 6 has been revealed to have got a white variant which would start selling in the Philippines today as well.

Reports emerging from the Asian country indicate that popular e-commerce website Lazada has listed the Nokia 6 on its website and among the features is that the device will be available in a white-only variant. The device is also listed with a slightly higher Php 18,590 price tag (around $374), different from the 1699 yuan ($245) it got rolling with in China. This really shouldn’t be a surprise as shipping costs and tax would factor in the pricing.

Read More: Nokia Heart, A Cheaper Edition of Nokia 6 Arriving Soon?

We really can’t say for sure if this news is true but picture don’t lie, even though Photoshop exists. The white-colored Nokia 6 does look real and even comes with an offer of free shipping. Lazada has got credibility in the Philippines so they really wouldn’t flaunt a phony offer.
