Among the key highlights is the Multi V i VRF system powered by artificial intelligence. LG Electronics has introduced the LG Sound Suite, a new premium home audio system in South Korea. The system focuses on delivering spatial sound throughout the home without requiring fixed wired speaker placement. LG says the setup is designed for watching movies and sports, streaming music, and regular TV viewing. It was initially unveiled at CES 2026 back in January.

Flexible multi-speaker system

The Sound Suite lineup includes four main components. The Soundbar H7 serves as the central hub and manages sound processing using AI. The M7 and M5 models act as surround speakers that can be placed in different parts of the room to create a wider soundstage. The W7 subwoofer is responsible for handling low frequencies and providing deeper bass.

LG says the system supports up to 50 configuration combinations. When users build the system around the soundbar, there are 28 possible configurations. A setup centered around an LG TV allows 22 combinations. The largest configuration uses the Soundbar H7, four M7 surround speakers, and the W7 subwoofer. In this setup, the system outputs 13.1.7 channels designed for full multi-directional audio.

Audio technologies and features

One of the main features is Dolby Atmos FlexConnect. This technology identifies where speakers are placed and adjusts the audio output automatically. Users can place speakers freely around the room without losing spatial audio accuracy. The feature works with LG premium TVs released in 2025 and 2026 for synchronized sound output.

Sound Follow is another key feature. It uses ultra-wideband wireless technology and the LG ThinQ app to detect where the listener is located. The system then adjusts the audio so the user hears sound from the best listening position.

Room Calibration Pro analyzes the size, layout, and acoustic characteristics of the room. Based on this analysis, the system adjusts audio output to suit the installed environment.

The system is powered by LG’s third-generation Alpha11 AI processor. Through AI Sound Pro+, it identifies voices, music, and sound effects, then adjusts levels for clearer playback. AI Upmix also expands low-channel audio into multi-channel output so all speakers in the setup are used.

Peerless premium drivers are included to deliver balanced high and low frequencies. The system supports wireless streaming through Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, with stereo and standalone listening modes available.

Price and availability

LG will begin selling the Sound Suite in South Korea starting April 2026 through LGE.COM and LG Best Shop retail stores.

The Soundbar H7 is priced at 1,299,000 won, which is around $880 or ₹80,650. The W7 subwoofer costs 799,000 won, about $541. The M7 surround speaker is priced at 549,000 won, about $372. The M5 surround speaker costs 449,000 won, about $304.

The new additions to the LG Gram 14 series were first previewed ahead of CES earlier this year, but they’re now officially available for pre-order in LG’s home market. As the smallest option in the broader 2026 Gram family, which also includes 15-, 16-, and 17-inch models, the 14-inch versions continue to focus on portability above all else.

At just 1.12 kg, the new Gram 14 remains one of the lightest laptops in its class. The chassis measures 15.7 mm thick, which keeps it slim enough for daily commuting or travel without feeling fragile. LG has built its reputation on this balance, and that doesn’t seem to be changing.

Big battery in a small body

What stands out more than the weight, though, is the battery. Every configuration includes a 72Wh cell, which is fairly large for a 14-inch laptop this thin. LG hasn’t published detailed runtime figures yet, but on paper, it should comfortably handle a full workday under typical use.

The display is a 14-inch IPS panel with a 1920×1200 resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, and up to 350 nits brightness. It’s not trying to compete with high-refresh gaming panels, but it should be perfectly fine for productivity, browsing, and media.

Under the hood, LG is using AMD’s latest Ryzen AI 400-series processors (based on the Gorgon Point platform). Entry models come with the Ryzen AI 5 435, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a 512GB PCIe 4.0 SSD. Higher-end versions step up to the Ryzen AI 7 450 and can be configured with up to 32GB of RAM.

Pricing in Japan starts at JPY 215,820 (roughly $1,392), while the top-tier configuration reaches JPY 349,800 (around $2,255). As always, regional pricing doesn’t directly translate to other markets, so global pricing could look different.

Intel Panther Lake-based versions are expected to join the Gram 14 lineup later in 2026, likely under different model numbers. That gives LG flexibility depending on regional demand and performance preferences.

LG has expanded its xboom audio range in partnership with nine-time Grammy winner will.i.am. The company has introduced two new true wireless models, the LG xboom Buds Plus and the LG xboom Buds Lite. These earbuds were initially released in South Korea in September 2025 and are now rolling out more widely. Both models are part of the “xboom by will.i.am” lineup, with will.i.am closely involved in tuning and shaping the sound profile.

According to LG, the earbuds are tuned to deliver balanced warm tones that reflect will.i.am’s sound preferences. The new models were presented at the FYI Visionaries event, where the expanded xboom lineup was showcased.

LG xboom Buds Plus

The Buds Plus are designed as the most advanced model in the lineup. They feature a UVnano+ charging case that uses UV-C light to reduce bacteria on the earbud speaker mesh. Independent testing shows that the UVnano system eliminates 99.9 percent of Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and Klebsiella pneumoniae within ten minutes of charging when the case is connected to a power cable. Users can also set the UV function to activate automatically whenever the earbuds are placed inside the case and the lid is closed.

Active Noise Cancellation is supported through a three-microphone system that improves noise detection and reduction. With ANC turned off, the earbuds provide up to 10 hours of continuous playback. The charging case adds up to 20 more hours, bringing total playback to up to 30 hours. Actual battery life depends on usage and settings.

The Buds Plus also support 3D Spatial Audio for a wider soundstage and multi-point connection for switching between devices without disconnecting. Users can adjust sound through customizable EQ settings. The earbuds carry an IPX4 rating under IEC 60529 standards, meaning they are resistant to splashes of water. They should be dried before use and must not be charged while wet. The charging case is not IPX4 rated.

A built-in Bluetooth transmitter allows the Buds Plus to connect wirelessly to devices that have a headphone jack, such as in-flight entertainment systems or treadmills. Compatibility may vary depending on the device.

LG xboom Buds Lite

The Buds Lite focus on portability with a compact and lightweight design. They deliver up to 11.5 hours of continuous playback from the earbuds. With the charging case, total playback reaches up to 35 hours when ANC is turned off. Actual performance varies based on usage.

The Buds Lite use a single microphone to monitor ambient noise, which results in a different ANC experience compared to the three-microphone system on the Buds and Buds Plus. They also include customizable EQ settings and carry an IPX4 water resistance rating for protection against splashes.

LG’s two-stage heat exchanger design removes moisture in the first stage and reheats the air in the second stage to maintain a steady, user-defined temperature. This process delivers dry, cool air that avoids the sharp chill of standard dehumidification.

The company has also upgraded its AI Airflow system. It uses radar sensors to detect the user’s location and surrounding conditions. When the space is hot, the system activates strong airflow. As the room cools, it shifts to gentler or directional airflow to maintain comfort while improving energy efficiency.

The new models add AI Voice Recognition powered by a GPT-based engine, allowing natural language commands, usage queries, and mode suggestions based on room conditions. An AI Sleep mode learns user sleep patterns and adjusts cooling behavior to minimize interruptions.

Lockin V7 Max

The Lockin V7 Max introduces AuraCharge, a wireless optical charging system that beams energy to the lock from a dedicated transmitter placed up to 13 feet away. This removes the need for replaceable or rechargeable batteries, solving one of the biggest pain points in smart locks.

The V7 Max supports finger vein, palm vein, and 3D facial recognition. It has dual 5-inch displays, two HD cameras, and Matter compatibility for integration with all major smart home platforms.

LG Electronics has announced LG CLOiD, an AI-powered home robot that will be shown publicly for the first time at CES 2026. The robot is designed to handle and coordinate everyday household tasks by working directly with connected home appliances. LG says the goal is to reduce the time and physical effort required for routine chores.

At CES 2026, LG will demonstrate CLOiD in realistic home settings. In one example, the robot takes milk from a refrigerator and places a croissant into an oven to prepare breakfast. After the occupants leave the house, CLOiD starts the laundry, then folds and stacks clothes once drying is complete. These demonstrations focus on showing how the robot understands daily routines and controls appliances based on user habits rather than fixed commands.

LG CLOiD’s hardware is designed for use inside living spaces. The robot consists of a head unit, a torso with two articulated arms, and a wheeled base with autonomous navigation. The torso can tilt to change height, allowing the robot to pick up items from knee level and from higher surfaces. Each arm has seven degrees of freedom, similar to a human arm, with movement at the shoulder, elbow, and wrist. Each hand has five independently actuated fingers, enabling precise handling of household objects in kitchens, laundry rooms, and living areas.

The wheeled base uses autonomous driving technology derived from LG’s robot vacuum products and the LG Q9. The low center of gravity improves stability and helps prevent tipping if the robot is bumped by a child or pet. LG selected this design for safety, stability, and cost efficiency.

The head of LG CLOiD functions as a mobile AI home hub. It includes the main chipset, a display, a speaker, cameras, multiple sensors, and voice-based generative AI. These components allow the robot to communicate using speech and facial expressions, learn home layouts and user lifestyles, and control connected appliances based on what it learns.

At the core of CLOiD is LG’s Physical AI technology. This combines Vision Language Models, which convert images and video into language-based understanding, and Vision Language Action models, which turn visual and verbal input into physical actions. These systems have been trained on tens of thousands of hours of household task data.

LG also announced LG Actuator AXIUM, a new actuator brand for service robots. Actuators combine motors, drives, and reducers and are among the most critical and expensive robot components. LG plans to use its appliance manufacturing expertise to deliver compact, efficient, high-torque designs.

Scratch resistance is said to be improved, and several models have reportedly cleared military-grade durability tests.

AI plays a larger role across the 2026 lineup. Select models qualify as Microsoft Copilot+ PCs and feature what LG describes as a “dual AI” approach. This combines on-device AI processing with cloud-based features. LG’s own gram chat runs on the EXAONE 3.5 small language model (sLLM) and is designed to work even without an internet connection, focusing on everyday productivity and creative tasks.

LG has also refreshed gram Link, improving connectivity between Gram laptops and other devices. The feature now supports easier file sharing and screen mirroring across Android and iOS phones, as well as LG’s webOS products such as TVs and monitors.

The lineup includes multiple options, including the LG gram Pro AI in 17-inch and 16-inch sizes, the 16-inch gram Pro 360 AI, gram AI models in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes, and the gram Book AI.

One of the more notable models is the North America-exclusive LG gram Pro AI 17 (17Z90UR). LG claims it is the lightest 17-inch laptop with discrete graphics, featuring an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 and a 2560×1600 LCD display in a body closer to a 16-inch machine. The 16-inch gram Pro AI is also impressive, weighing just 1,199g while packing a 77Wh battery and a 2880×1800 OLED panel.

LG has brought its UltraGear 27GX790B-B to North America following its China debut. The 27-inch gaming monitor uses LG Display’s 4th Gen Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel.

The monitor’s headline feature is a 720Hz refresh rate. The 720Hz mode requires dropping resolution to 720p. At native 1440p, the refresh rate drops to 540Hz, which is still among the fastest available commercially.

The LG Magic Remote is used to track movement through its built-in motion sensors, allowing players to dance alone or with others.

You can monitor cooking in real time, get a time-lapse summary when it’s done, and share results from your phone.

The design keeps LG SIGNATURE’s Refined Minimal style with clean horizontal lines, gold accents, and detailed craftsmanship. LG is launching three design collections: Seamless, Iconic, and Tailored. These offer different materials and styles while maintaining high performance.

The LG Gaming Portal is a new hub for gaming on webOS, while also combining content from multiple partners. The LG MoodMate is a projector that features a tall floor stand. This design gives it enough elevation for its various functions. It can project a screen size of up to 120 inches at 1080p resolution, a projection ratio of 1.2:1, 300 ANXI lumens brightness, and up to 105 degree projection angle. LG’s latest DLP projector also offers HDR support and a dynamic contrast ratio of 150,000:1.

Furthermore, you get an HDMI port, USB, and support for various streaming platforms since it runs on the webOS platform. While the LG MoodMate is a projector, its 3-in-1 aspect comes into play since it features a built-in lamp that acts as a mood light and wireless speakers. Users can wirelessly stream music with the MoodMate, and you can even choose between nine colors and five brightness levels to help set the mood.

LG has added another OLED model to its growing UltraGear OLED lineup with the UltraGear 27GX704A, following the earlier 27GX700A. The main difference between these two models is the OLED technology used. The UltraGear 27GX700A uses Tandem OLED technology (4th gen WOLED), while the UltraGear 27GX704A relies on older 2nd Gen WOLED technology.

Second-gen WOLED monitors use white OLED emitters with color filters to produce RGB colors, offering good efficiency and lower burn-in risk but slightly reduced brightness and color purity. RGB Tandem OLED monitors use separate red, green, and blue emitters stacked together, delivering higher brightness, better color accuracy, and longer lifespan by spreading the electrical load across multiple layers.

The 27GX704A monitor is available on Amazon for US$779. This monitor was initially introduced in China, Japan and Canada last month.

The UltraGear 27GX704A uses a 26.5-inch glossy WOLED panel with a QHD resolution of 2560×1440 and a 16:9 aspect ratio. It offers 178-degree viewing angles to keep image quality consistent from all sides. The monitor supports a 240Hz refresh rate and a 0.03ms grey-to-grey response time, allowing smooth visuals during fast-moving gameplay.

The display covers 98.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color gamut, supports 10-bit color depth, and has a 1,500,000:1 static contrast ratio. LG has officially taken the wraps off its new xboom series of audio lineup, including the xboom Buds, xboom Buds Plus, and xboom Buds Lite. The LG xboom buds were first announced back in CES 2025 earlier this year, and now, they are finally getting a global release with a special audio tuning touch from will.i.am.

LG xboom Buds

The South Korean tech giant’s xboom buds series are truly wireless earbuds with an in-ear design. The xboom Buds arrive with a hook design for a better fit in your ear. LG’s new xboom Buds house graphene drivers along with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) and support for LE Audio Auracast. It houses graphene drivers for improved audio quality, and it even supports ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) via a three microphone setup.

The last feature allows users to listen to open audio streams in public as well as access to multi device connectivity support. On a single full charge, the LG xboom Buds offer up to 30 hours of audio playback (7.5 hours with the buds alone). This falls to around 24 hours with ANC enabled. For physically active users, the earbuds offer an IPX4 rating for water and dust resistance.

Moving to the more expensive model, we have the LG xboom Buds Plus. It brings a more refined audio quality, which users can further personalize via an adaptive EQ to adjust the sound profile in real time based on the ear fit. One of the major new features on the LG xboom Buds Plus is the UVnano technology. This basically helps reduce the bacteria on the ear tips and speaker mesh on these TWS earbuds. Similar to the other models, the xboom Buds Lite also use graphene drivers an improved audio experience along with four EQ presets, which users can select via the xboom Buds app. This is a companion app that is available for iOS, Android, and even Windows. It offers access to the EQ presets, finer noise cancellation controls, fit optimization, and much more.

LG Electronics is presenting four new vacuum cleaners at IFA 2025 in Berlin, designed for the European market. The lineup includes a robot vacuum with steam mop, a built-in robot vacuum station, a stick vacuum, and a wet-dry stick vacuum.

The new robot vacuum has over twice the suction power of the previous model. It includes a steam mop that removes grease and liquid spills. The docking station sterilizes the mop with hot water and steam after each use and has a furniture-like design that blends with home interiors. The vacuum is equipped with an AI chip that identifies dirt, dust, furniture, and other obstacles for precise navigation. An AI carpet detection system returns the unit to the docking station to detach the mop before cleaning carpets. The robot also features LG Shield security to protect user data.

The built-in robot vacuum station is designed for European homes and fits beneath the kitchen sink. It has an auto-opening door and uses an air circulation system to reduce noise during automatic dust disposal. It provides a hands-free experience with auto water supply, draining, and mop washing. A turbidity sensor monitors mop cleanliness and starts washing when needed.

The new stick vacuum maintains strong suction using Micro Cyclone technology and a filter cleaning system that prevents clogging from pet hair and fine dust. It features an auto dust disposal system that reduces contact with allergens and comes with a compact freestanding charging station.

The wet-dry stick vacuum is lightweight and reduces wrist strain during use. It includes AI Roller Control for smoother operation and adapts to cleaning patterns. It removes both liquids and solids, with LED lighting for low-light cleaning. The mop head is washed with hot water, steam sterilized, and hot air dried to stay clean.

LG will display the new vacuum lineup at IFA 2025 in Hall 18, Messe Berlin, from September 5 to 9.

LG has released the UltraGear OLED 27GX700A, a 27-inch QHD (2560×1440) gaming monitor that uses its new 4th Gen WOLED panel with Primary RGB Tandem technology. The monitor supports a 280 Hz refresh rate with a 0.03 ms response time. It is certified for HDR True Black 500, covers 99.5 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, and is equipped with DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.1 inputs, enabling 1440p gaming at up to 280 Hz.

The Primary RGB Tandem panel design stacks two blue layers with one each for red and green to improve brightness and extend panel lifespan. This structure allows the UltraGear OLED 27GX700A to deliver around 335 nits in SDR and peak at 1,500 nits. According to LG, this is its brightest WOLED monitor so far.

The monitor also includes a 27-inch flat panel layout designed for gaming and professional use. Its low input lag combined with the high refresh rate makes it suitable for competitive gaming, while the wide color coverage and HDR certification support content creation and media use.

Pricing & availability

The UltraGear OLED 27GX700A first went on sale in China and Hong Kong, priced at CNY 4,599 (about $640). Recently, it appeared on Amazon US at $849.99, though it is currently listed as out of stock.

The monitor was first announced in Japan last month and has now appeared on LG’s official websites in Singapore and other regions. The 49U950A features a 49-inch Nano IPS display with a 3800R curvature and a 32:9 aspect ratio. Its Dual QHD resolution of 5120 × 1440 offers the equivalent workspace of two 27-inch QHD monitors combined into one. This layout gives users around 70% more pixels than a standard 32:9 Full HD panel, making it well-suited for video editing, creative projects, and multitasking with multiple data windows open at once.

LG has launched a new gaming monitor called UltraGear 27G810A in the Chinese market. It is priced at 2,999 yuan ($417) and available for pre-order on JD.com. The company is offering discounts for early birds, bringing the price down to just 2,699 yuan ($375).

The LG 27G810A is equipped with a 27-inch IPS LCD panel that supports two display modes. LG has added new “A” series models to its UltraGear OLED gaming monitor lineup, covering 45-inch, 39-inch, and 34-inch sizes. These models keep most of the specifications from earlier “QE” versions but make small changes to ports, audio, and extra features.

45-inch UltraGear OLED 45GX900A

The 45GX900A joins the 45GX90SA and 45GX950A in LG’s 45-inch range. It is listed on LG’s US site for $1,699, on LG’s Hong Kong site for HK$12,980 ($1,654), and on Amazon Canada for CA$1,799. It uses the same Gen 2 WOLED panel as the older 45GS95QE, with a 1440p resolution and a 240 Hz refresh rate. It does not have the higher 5K2K resolution of the 45GX950A’s Gen 3 panel, but adds a USB Type-C port with 65 W charging and stereo 7 W speakers, both missing from the 45GS95QE.

39-inch UltraGear OLED 39GX900A

The 39GX900A arrives less than six months after the 39GX90SA. It is priced at CA$1,599 in Canada and HK$10,980 ($1,399) in Hong Kong, with US pricing expected to be around $1,237. The monitor has a Gen 2 WOLED panel with a 1440p resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 240 Hz refresh rate, 800R curvature, 1,300 nits peak HDR brightness, and 275 nits peak SDR brightness. Compared to the 39GS95QE, it adds a 65 W USB Type-C port and stereo 7 W speakers. It does not include Gigabit Ethernet or webOS 24, which are available on the 39GX90SA.

34-inch UltraGear OLED 34GX900A

The 34GX900A keeps most of the hardware from the 34GS95QE. It has a 1440p resolution, 21:9 aspect ratio, 0.03 ms GtG response time, and a 240 Hz refresh rate. Ports include 1x DisplayPort 1.4, 2x HDMI 2.1, 2x USB 3.0 Type-A, 1x USB Type-C with Power Delivery and DisplayPort Alt Mode, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It replaces the USB Type-B port from the 34GS95QE and has stereo 7 W speakers from the 34GX90SA, but drops the Gigabit Ethernet connection. The 34GX900A is priced at $1,299 in the US and HK$8,280 (~$1,055) in Hong Kong.

LG Display has officially unveiled the world’s fastest OLED monitor panel at K-Display 2025 in Seoul. The company is showcasing a 27-inch QHD OLED panel that supports a refresh rate of 540Hz in standard mode and up to 720Hz in 720p resolution using its Dynamic Frequency and Resolution (DFR) technology. This marks the highest refresh rate ever achieved on an OLED display.

The new panel is part of LG Display’s fourth-generation OLED lineup, which uses Primary RGB Tandem technology.
