It has a repeater mode in case you want to use it to extend the network of another router you already own.</p>

<p>Setting up and connecting is easy and you can manage connections and devices using the Mi WiFi app which is available on iOS and Android. With the app, you can blacklist unwanted internet activity, block suspicious devices, and set time limits for your children&#8217;s devices. There is also a WiFi optimization feature that can be activated with just a tap.</p>
<p>The Mi Router 4C is priced at ₹999 (~$14) and is available on <a href="https://store.mi.com/in/item/3184300009">mi.com</a>. The only disadvantages it has are its support for only 2.4GHz networks and lack of a USB port for connecting a storage device. But we can&#8217;t complain, seeing how affordable it is.</p>

That is perhaps because of the importance of the router as a networking device in the home, office and other public places. As a matter of act, the Mi Routers have become one of the company&#8217;s main products alongside the Mi phones and Mi TV. The company has just announced yet another router dubbed Mi Router 4C. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-3.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-203483" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-3.png?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Mi Router 4C" width="563" height="544" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-3.png 563w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-3-300x290.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 563px) 100vw, 563px" /></a></p>
<p>Xiaomi Mi Router 4C is an update over the fourth-generation router product line which includes the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/05/22/xiaomi-launches-mi-router-4-china-199-yuan/">199 yuan ($30) Mi Router 4</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/06/18/xiaomi-announces-mi-router-4q-for-%c2%a599-15/">Mi Router 4Q which has the same 99 yuan price tag</a> as this latest model. The Mi Roter 4C is the third product in the series and the design isn&#8217;t very much different from that of its siblings. The router comes with four omnidirectional antennas meaning it can transmit signals in all directions regardless of where it is placed facing.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-203480" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Xiaomi Mi router 4C" width="600" height="214" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-2.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/07/xiaomi-mi-router-4c-2-300x107.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The router comes in white colour with a compact design similar to the Mi Router 4. The device also comes with a 64MB built-in memory and supports smart APP management.</p>
