The OnePlus Ace Pro was originally planned to launch on August 3. However, the event got postponed and the device finally went official in China today. For the unaware, the handset is nothing but a rebranded OnePlus 10T for the brand’s home country.

Therefore, the smartphone is all about speed as it arrives with the fastest wired charging solution available on mobile phones and the fastest chipset for Android to date. With that out of the day, let’s take a look at its pricing and entire specifications.

The OnePlus Ace Pro will retail at the following price tags in China.

It will be available for purchase in two colors (black, green) starting at 10 AM CST on August 15.

OnePlus Ace Pro Specifications

The OnePlus Ace Pro is built around a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole 10-bit AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 394 PPI, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The 20.1:9 panel supports sRGB/DCI-P3 color gamuts, HDR10+, and up to 720Hz touch sampling rate (software-based).

The device has a glass sandwich body with a plastic frame. Both the front and rear are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It measures 163 x 75.4 x 8.8mm in dimensions and weighs 204.

The handset is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset paired with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and VC liquid cooling system. It boots ColorOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

There’s a triple camera system on the rear comprising an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16MP shooter on the front.

The connectivity options on the phone include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and a USB Type-C port (USB 2.0). It comes with an in-screen fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.

Last but not least, the OnePlus Ace Pro is backed by a 4,800mAh battery with support for 150W fast wired charging.

OnePlus Ace Pro (10T) display specs revealed ahead of August 3 launch

OnePlus is gearing up to launch a new flagship-tier device in the global market dubbed the OnePlus 10T on August 3rd. The device will also launch in China on the same day as the OnePlus Ace Pro.

Ahead of the launch, the company has teased some of the specifications of the OnePlus Ace Pro already. These include the industry-first eight-channel vapor chamber, 150W fast charging, and 16GB RAM+ 256GB storage variant. Now, the brand has also teased the display specs of the Ace Pro, so let’s take a look at the details.

The official teaser reveals that the smartphone will come with a 6.7-inch AMOLED display. The display will have a 120Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. It will feature support for HDR10+ and will also be capable of producing 1.07 billion colors. Lastly, the teaser states that the phone will come with super thin bezels measuring just 1.48mm in thickness. The teaser does not reveal the resolution of the device, but leaks so far have suggested that it will be a Full HD+ resolution panel with a 20:9 aspect ratio.

As for other details about the device, it will be equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 flagship chipset, which will come paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage in the Indian market. As for China, a 16GB + 512GB variant is rumored.

The camera setup is said to include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with OIS support, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies, it will feature a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. Lastly, the smartphone will pack a 4,800mAh battery with 150W rapid charging support and will come with Android 12-based Color0S 12.1 out of the box (OxygenOS in the global market).

OnePlus is confirmed to launch the brand-new OnePlus Ace Pro in China on August 3. The smartphone will likely be a rebadged version of the 10T for the Chinese market. Ahead of the launch, the company has shared the AnTuTu Scorecard of the upcoming OnePlus Ace Pro and it may have set the benchmark for Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 performance.

OnePlus has started teasing the OnePlus Ace Pro in China. In a recent teaser, the company shared the AnTuTu score of the upcoming flagship. As per the company, the OnePlus Ace Pro scored 1141383 AnTuTu points which is more than what any Snapdragon 8+ Gen1-powered smartphone has scored so far. For reference, the Asus ROG Phone 6 scored around 1.11 million and the Xiaomi 12S Ultra got 1.10 million.

The difference is marginal but still OnePlus Ace Pro gets the bragging rights. However, it is worth mentioning that the AnTuTu team hasn’t posted anything about the score, and OnePlus hasn’t specified which AnTuTu version they ran. So, it’s better to take the score with a grain of salt.

As mentioned, OnePlus Ace Pro is expected to be a rebranded OnePlus 10T for the Chinese market. The device will likely feature a 6.7-inch E4 AMOLED display offering a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2412 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-screen fingerprint scanner.
