The OnePlus 10T is finally here after numerous leaks and teasers. The phone is all about speed as it comes with the fastest chipset available for Android devices and the fastest wired charging solution on handsets.

The smartphone only offers certain features from premium phones but for a lesser price. In India, it retails at ₹49,999, ₹54,999, ₹55,999  for 8GB + 128GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 256GB memory configurations, respectively.

Talking about specs, the OnePlus 10T is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC paired with LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.1 storage, and a vapor cooling system. It boots OxygenOS 12.1 based on Android 12.

The device sports a 6.7-inch centered punch-hole AMOLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 394 PPI, and up to a 120Hz refresh rate. The 10-bit panel supports up to 720Hz touch sampling rate (software-based), sRGB/DCI-P3 color gamuts, and HDR10+. The 20.1:9 screen is protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass.

The handset houses a triple camera system on the rear comprising an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide unit, and a 2MP macro snapper. On the front, it has a 16MP shooter for selfies and video calls.

The connectivity options on the smartphone include dual-SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 2.0). Further, it comes with an in-display fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers but lacks an alert slider.

Finally, the OnePlus 10T is backed by a 4,800mAh battery with support for 150W fast wired charging. It measures 163 x 75.4 x 8.8mm in dimensions, weighs 203.5g, and comes in two colors (Moonstone Black, Jade Green).

The aforementioned features are good enough for most people. But if you are looking for alternatives, we got you covered.

In this article, we have listed all the options that you can consider instead of the OnePlus 10T in India. Let’s take a look at these phones one by one.

The Best Oneplus 10T Alternatives in India

    iQOO 9T

The iQOO 9T is arguably the best alternative to the OnePlus 10T in India. Because at the same price, it offers a flagship-level camera setup along with almost all other features of the OnePlus model.

    iQOO 9T

The main highlights of the iQOO 9T are its triple camera system on the rear and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipset. It comes with an OIS-assisted 50MP Samsung ISOCELL GN5 primary camera, a 13MP ultra-wide + macro unit, and a 12MP Sony IMX663 sensor with a 2x optical lens.

The charging speed is not so slow either at 120W. In a nutshell, the iQOO 9T not only offers speed but also a good set of cameras than the OnePlus 10T.

    The handset is priced at ₹49,999 and ₹54,999 for 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB memory variants, respectively.

    Samsung Galaxy S21 FE

If you want niche features from premium smartphones, then the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is probably the only option in this price segment. Unlike the OnePlus 10T, it does not focus on speed but rather on experience.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE All Colors

The Galaxy S21 FE comes with features like an IP68 rating (dust and water resistance), wireless charging, reverse wireless charging, USB 3.0 (Type-C), and Samsung DeX. It is also one of the few phones on the market eligible for 4 Android updates and 5 years of security updates.

The Exynos 2100 chip is not as fast and power-efficient as the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC. However, the device comes with a 3x telephoto camera (8MP with OIS) and a 32MP front-facing camera with support for up to 4K 60fps video recording.

    Talking about price, the Galaxy S21 FE costs around ₹50,000 (8GB + 128GB) and ₹54,000 (8GB + 256GB) in India.

    Vivo X80

The Vivo X80 can be considered an iQOO 9T with an even better camera system and a different chipset. It is costlier at ₹54,999 and ₹59,999 for 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB models, respectively.

For an extra ₹5,000, you get a Zeiss-powered camera setup consisting of an OIS-assisted 50MP Sony IMX866 primary sensor, a 12MP 2x telephoto shooter, and a 13MP ultra-wide unit. The phone is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 9000 chip and gets its juice from a slightly larger 4,700mAh battery,

Additionally, the display is curved on either side, unlike any other smartphone on this list. Lastly, its wired charging speed is slower at 80W, which is fine.

    Oppo Reno 8 Pro

The Oppo Reno 8 Pro is cheaper than the OnePlus 10T as it costs ₹45,999 for the single 12GB + 256GB variant. It is expensive as it comes with an inferior set of specs.

    Oppo Reno 8 Pro

The handset is powered by a Mediatek Dimensity 8100-Max chip. But it has the same triple camera setup as the OnePlus 10T, however, there’s no OIS for the main sensor. Instead, it comes with a self-developed MariSilicon X NPU for image processing.

The device is backed by a smaller 4,500mAh battery and its charging is limited to 80W. Last but not least, it has a unique design with a flat frame.

    Google Pixel 6a

The Google Pixel 6a is only recommended for Pixel fans in India. Because the smartphone costs way more at ₹43,999 in the country for the hardware on the offer.

Hence, get it over the OnePlus 10T only if you like the ‘Pixel Experience’, which includes the software and image processing. Otherwise, you have four other good alternatives that we have listed above.

Last but not least, it is also the only affordable compact smartphone from a known brand in India. Therefore, if you are eyeing such an option, the Pixel 6a is currently the only one in the region for better or worse.
