<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-436916 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-1024x1024.png?x10805" alt="OPPO A16K" width="696" height="696" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-1024x1024.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-1068x1068.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg-420x420.png 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A-16K.jpg.png 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 696px) 100vw, 696px" /></p>
<p>Accordingly, the OPPO A16K measures only 7.85mm thick and weighs just 175g, despite packing a fairly large battery of 4230mAh capacity. The weight gets even more impressive when you consider its 6.52&#8243; screen size, which also comes with All-day Eye Care comprising features such as Sunlight Display, Moonlight Display, and AI Smart Backlight for a healthier and more comfortable viewing experience.</p>
<p>Under the hood, you get the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC and its performance is further enhanced by System Booster. The feature is basically a collection of system-level optimizations that help keep the interface stutter-free at all times. Similarly, the phone&#8217;s battery also comes with specific features such as Super Night-time Standby, Optimized Night Charging, and Superpower Saving Mode to maximize its efficiency.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-large wp-image-436917 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-512x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="OPPO A16K" width="512" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-512x1024.jpg 512w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-150x300.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-768x1536.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-696x1392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-1068x2136.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-210x420.jpg 210w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16K-1920x3841.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 512px) 100vw, 512px" /></p>
<p>For photography, there&#8217;s a single 13MP shooter at the rear with an f/2.2 aperture. It is accompanied by a 5MP selfie camera up front with Front HDR and natural skin retouching. There are also three new night filters to help users capture city nightscapes in different styles and moods.</p>
<p>Moving on to the software department, where the OPPO A16K boots into ColorOS 11.1 out of the box, which may be disappointing for some considering <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/Android-12">Android 12</a> has been out for months now. Still, the OS comes packed with features like FlexDrop, Three-finger Translate, and Freeform Screenshot to help make up for it, so there&#8217;s that.</p>
<p>And last but not the least, the OPPO A16K comes with an IPX4 splashproof rating for protection against the elements.</p>
<p>The OPPO A16K will be available in India in Blue, White, and Black colors, at INR 10,490 for the 3GB RAM+32GB ROM variant, with no cost EMI up to 3 months across all leading banks. Customers can purchase the device across all channels starting today.</p>

It appears that it may not take too long for the A16K to go official.</p>
<h3><strong>OPPO A16k price in India (rumored)</strong></h3>
<p>The OPPO A16k poster shows that it will carry a price tag of Rs 10,490. At this price, the device will offer 3G GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. It is unclear whether the company will be offering in other variants. The handset will come in two colors such as black and blue.</p>
<figure id="attachment_436306" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-436306" style="width: 640px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-436306" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16k-poster.jpg?x10805" alt="OPPO A16k poster" width="640" height="564" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16k-poster.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16k-poster-300x264.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/OPPO-A16k-poster-477x420.jpg 477w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-436306" class="wp-caption-text">OPPO A16k poster by Mahesh Telecom</figcaption></figure>
<h3><strong>OPPO A16k specifications</strong></h3>
<p>The poster further reveals that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-a16k">OPPO A16k</a> has a 6.52-inch LCD panel with a waterdrop notch. It will offer an HD+ resolution and an eye care feature that will probably protect eyes from harmful blue light emitted by the screen. The device will run on Android 11, which is likely to be overlaid with ColorOS 11.1.</p>
<p>The device will offer users a 13-megapixel camera with an LED flash on the back. The frontside of the phone features a 5-megapixel snapper. It is backed by a 4,230mAh battery that supports 10W charging. It will be sporting a slim design measuring only 7.8mm in thickness. The device lacks a fingerprint scanner.</p>
<p>While the A16k is a new phone for India, it has already <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/11/06/oppo-a16k-launched-helio-g35-4230mah-battery-and-much-more/">launched in the Philippines</a> back in November 2020. It’s a toned-down edition of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-a16">OPPO A16</a>, which came with specs like a 6.52-inch HD+ display, Android 11, 13-megapixel triple cameras, an 8-megapixel front camera, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/helio-g35">Helio G35</a>, 4 GB of RAM, a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. The A16k is likely to feature the Helio G35 chip.</p>

We are also expected to see gamer-centric phones from <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/lenovo">Lenovo</a>, premium devices from <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo">iQOO</a>, and a couple of budget phones from brands like <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/tecno">Tecno</a>.
