The recently launched Redmi 10X Pro 5G in Liquid Silver color version is one of a kind.
The Redmi smartphone not only looks silvery but also mimics a mirror. It is reminiscent of Xiaomi Mi 6 Mercury Silver Edition and Sony Xperia XZ Premium Luminous Chrome color variant, the device which won the Best New Smartphone of MWC 2017 award.

In fact, there have been few phones in this color in the market according to Redmi GM Lu Weibing. He says that manufacturing phones in this particular silver color is a complicated process. The yield is less, which in turn results in high-cost for production.

Design

Due to its huge dimensions, we would not recommend the Honor 10X Max to those who search for a compact and elegant device. At least according to my opinion, the most attractive one if we talk about aesthetics is the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro. It is compact and it has a less invasive camera module, as well as an elegant rear side. Despite it has a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead of an in-display sensor like the Redmi 10X Pro, the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro is even thinner and lighter. These are the reasons why it wins the design comparison.

Display

The most beautiful display belongs to the Redmi 10X Pro as it is the only one to offer an AMOLED panel with deeper blacks and more brilliant colors. It even comes with the HDR10+ certification. On the other hand, Honor 10X Pro sports one of the widest panels in the whole market with a 7.09-inch diagonal. Further, its display remains a great panel: it is an IPS display, but it is HDR10 certified and it delivers great overall quality. Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro is probably inferior in terms of image quality, but it offers a higher 90 Hz refresh rate for a smoother experience.

Specs & Software

Honor 10X Max and Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro are powered by the Dimensity 800 mobile platform by MediaTek. The Redmi 10X Pro is much better due to the presence of a more powerful Dimensity 820. The difference is not huge, but it is noticeable. The Dimensity 820 chipset is paired with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of internal storage, while with the Honor 10X Max and the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro you get max 128 GB of internal storage. In each case, you can expand the internal storage and you get Android 10 out of the box.

Camera

Honor 10X Max, Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro, and Redmi 10X Pro come with similar camera setups, but the Redmi 10X Pro wins the camera comparison. The main sensor is the same on each device, but Redmi 10X Pro sports an additional telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom, as well as a better macro sensor. Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro takes the silver medal with a 48 MP triple camera including an ultrawide sensor and a better front camera than Honor X10 Max. Note that none of these devices is a high-end camera phone, but Redmi 10X Pro goes beyond a simple mid-range camera.

Battery

With its huge 5000 mAh battery, Honor X10 Max will most likely last more than both Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro and Redmi 10X Pro with most of the usage patterns. But the Redmi 10X Pro should not be so far with its 4520 mAh battery and its efficient AMOLED display. Further, the Redmi 10X Pro charges a lot faster thanks to its 33W fast charging technology which can bring the battery from 0 to 58 percent in just 30 minutes.

Price

The starting price of the Redmi 10X Pro is €290/$325, while the Honor X10 Max starts from €240/$270, and Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro costs €250/$280 in its base variant. Judging from the overall specifications, Redmi 10X Pro looks more interesting thanks to its AMOLED display, stronger chipset, and better cameras, but Honor 10X Max is a unique device thanks to its huge display which can be very suitable for productivity and power users.

As can be seen from this list, in this price segment, Dimensity 820, Dimensity 1000L, Kirin 985, Kirin 820, and Snapdragon 765G all have almost similar performance level.
Design

The design of the Honor X10 5G is very attractive because it offers a full-screen display thanks to the presence of a motorized pop-up camera. Both Redmi 10X Pro and Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro come with an annoying waterdrop notch on the front panel. But the Redmi 10X Pro has a glass back protected by Gorilla Glass 5, so its build quality is actually better. Would you prefer getting a full-screen display like the panel of the Honor X10 or more premium materials like the ones of the Redmi 10X Pro?

Display

If you prefer having a better image quality, you should go for the Redmi 10X Pro since it is the only device of this trio sporting an AMOLED display, as well as the HDR10+ certification. Instead, if you are a gamer or you want a smoother viewing experience, choose the Honor X10 5G since it comes with a high 90 Hz refresh rate. Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro has a 90 Hz refresh rate as well, but the quality of the IPS panel found on the Honor X10 5G is actually superior.

Specs & Software

The Dimensity 820 chipset found on the Redmi 10X Pro 5G is the most powerful SoC in this comparison. It is also paired with a higher amount of internal storage: up to 256 GB, while Honor X10 and Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro come with max 128 GB. In each case, you get up to 8 GB of RAM. The second place goes to the Honor X10 since the Kirin 820 is better than the Dimensity 800 of the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro.

Camera

On the camera side, it is a hard fight between the Redmi 10X Pro 5G and Honor X10 5G. The former has better secondary sensors, including a telephoto lens with OIS and 3x optical zoom. Honor X10 5G lacks a telephoto sensor, but it has an awesome 40 MP sensor providing a great photo quality. If you need the best camera phone, just do not choose the Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro which is like a Redmi 10X Pro without a telephoto lens and with worse secondary sensors.

Battery

Redmi 10X Pro 5G will most likely last more on a single charge for two reasons. First, it features a bigger 4520 mAh battery. Further, it has a more efficient display due to the AMOLED technology and its lower refresh rate. Redmi 10X Pro 5G is the winner even when it comes to fast charging: it can be charged with a 33W power. On the other hand, the Honor X10 5G is the only to support reverse charging (wired).

Price

Redmi 10X Pro 5G has a €290/$324 listing price in China for its base variant with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. Honor X10 5G starts from €285/$319 in the 6/64 GB configuration, while Huawei Enjoy 20 Pro has a starting price of €250/$280 for the version with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of native storage. Redmi 10X Pro 5G wins the comparison due to its premium build quality, better hardware, great cameras, AMOLED display, and longer battery life.
