MIUI 12 was officially unveiled earlier this week by Xiaomi. The company even released the initial closed beta builds for all the eligible devices in China. It also shared a preliminary update timeline, which will be revised according to the progress of the development. The latest Xiaomi Android skin has a ton of new features and one of the coolest is Super Wallpaper. Thankfully, it has been now successfully ported to run on all Android devices.
Being an open-source platform, Android has many advantages over iOS in terms of flexibility. When Xiaomi released MIUI 12 China Beta ROMs, the Super Wallpaper APKs were extracted from the firmware by enthusiasts so that they can run it on their global Xiaomi / Redmi devices.
Now, linuxct, a recognized XDA Developer has successfully ported them to work on all Android devices running Android 8.1 Oreo or above. Interested users will have to only download and install the ported Super Wallpaper APKs to use it on their devices.
We have provided the official download link given by the developer at the end of the post. The zip file weighs 297.8MB as it includes Super Wallpapers for both Earth and Mars. Once installed, users can set it on their device by normally navigating to wallpaper selection.
Some devices may not show it and in that case, install Google Wallpapers from the Play Store and apply the desired MIUI 12 Super Wallpaper through it.
