<p>The sub-Rs 25,000 segment remains one of the most competitive in the Indian smartphone market. Devices in this price band now offer strong performance, capable cameras, fast charging, and refined software, blurring the lines with pricier mid range models. Whether you’re a gamer or just someone who wants a balanced daily driver, we&#8217;ve rounded up the 5 best smartphones under Rs 25,000 that deliver the most bang for your buck right now.</p>

<h3>Realme P4 Power</h3>

<p>The realme P4 Power 5G starts off our list as a phone that aggressively targets power users with battery-hungry needs. What sets it apart is its massive 10,001mAh battery, making it one of the largest you&#8217;ll find in any commercially available smartphone right now. Pair this with an 80W wired fast charging, expect to spend less time charging your phone and more time using it.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="958" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1024x958.png?x44794" alt="Realme P4 Power" class="wp-image-723512" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1024x958.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-300x281.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-768x718.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1536x1437.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-696x651.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-1068x999.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image-449x420.png 449w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/Realme-P4-Power-image.png 1916w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme P4 Power </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Apart from the battery, it sports a 6.8-inch 144Hz HyperGlow curved display that gets impressively bright for outdoor visibility. The MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra chipset delivers smooth performance for daily tasks and gaming, and the 50MP + 8MP + 2MP camera setup handles everyday photography well enough.</p>

<h3>Nothing Phone (3a)</h3>

<p>Next up, the Nothing Phone 3a is one of the most exciting options in this price bracket thanks to its clean design and polished software experience. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display, it offers smooth visuals and capable performance for everyday use.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219.png?x44794" alt="Nothing Phone (3a)" class="wp-image-684519" width="-39" height="-53" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219.png 531w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219-219x300.png 219w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/image-219-307x420.png 307w" sizes="(max-width: 531px) 100vw, 531px" /><figcaption>Nothing Phone (3a)</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It offers a strong triple camera setup, with all three sensors actually being usable (main, telephoto, &amp; ultra wide). A sizeable 5,000mAh battery pack powers this device, which supports 50W wired fast charging. Nothing’s unique Glyph Lighting (and transparent construction) and refined Nothing OS give this phone a premium vibe normally reserved for higher-end devices, making it a strong contender if you value both aesthetics and performance.</p>

<h3>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</h3>

<p>The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G also brings some capable features to the Rs 25,000 price range. It packs a 6.67-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with vibrant colors and a high refresh rate, paired with a massive 6200mAh battery supported by 90W fast charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro+" class="wp-image-679707" width="-159" height="-119" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png 876w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-300x226.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-768x578.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-696x524.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-558x420.png 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-265x198.png 265w" sizes="(max-width: 876px) 100vw, 876px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in Sand Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>You also get a versatile camera setup with the inclusion of a dedicated telephoto lens in this segment, giving it an edge over its rivals. This Xiaomi device delivers balanced performance, strong visuals, and a versatile camera setup, making it a compelling choice for those who want a more complete smartphone experience.</p>

<h3>Realme 14 Pro+</h3>

<p>The realme 14 Pro+ is another notable pick that blends performance with imaging prowess. It features a 6.83-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, promising an immersive viewing experience, whether you’re gaming or streaming content.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Realme 14 Pro Plus" class="wp-image-676157" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Realme-14-Pro-Plus.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the camera front, the 14 Pro+ leans into capable imaging hardware, which also includes a telephoto shooter. With reliable battery life and fast charging, it’s one of the best balanced phones under this price range if you want rounded performance across use cases. Some of its notable features include Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, a big 6,000mAh battery pack, and 80W wired fast charging.</p>

<h3>OnePlus Nord CE 5</h3>

<p>Rounding up the list is the OnePlus Nord CE5, which strikes a great balance between performance, design, and long-term software support. It sports a 6.77-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It doesn’t lag behind in performance either with the Dimensity 8350 Apex SoC, offering dependable responsiveness for social apps, multitasking, and even gaming. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="OnePlus Nord CE 5" class="wp-image-699983" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/OnePlus-Nord-CE-5-Review-GizmoChina-03.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>OnePlus Nord CE 5</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Battery life is solid, and OxygenOS (based on Android) remains one of the cleaner software experiences you’ll find at this price, with buttery smooth UI animations and impressive customization options. If you’re looking for a phone that feels premium in day-to-day use without the premium price tag, the Nord CE5 makes a strong case.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi </a>is planning on releasing its popular <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro+</a> model in an elegant new color option soon. The company just shared an official teaser hinting at the smartphone getting a golden makeover. So here&#8217;s everything we know so far.</p>

<h2>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ drops in Sand Gold soon</h2>

<p>The Chinese tech giant&#8217;s official <a href="https://x.com/Xiaomi/status/1906632707855003991" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">X</a> handle (formerly Twitter) shared a fresh teaser that shared a short video highlighting the new color for the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. This model will soon launch in Sand Gold, which joins the existing variants like the Black, Purple, and Blue. Xiaomi could be planning on unveiling the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in Sand Gold in the global market, with the model already being listed online. However, the exact launch date is still unclear.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro+" class="wp-image-679707" width="-84" height="-63" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold.png 876w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-300x226.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-768x578.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-696x524.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-558x420.png 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-80x60.png 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-Sand-Gold-265x198.png 265w" sizes="(max-width: 876px) 100vw, 876px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ in Sand Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>To recall, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ sports a tall 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 3000 nits of peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. A large 5,100mAh battery pack powers this model, which supports an impressive 120W wired fast charging. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a 200MP main camera at the back along with an 8MP ultra wide angle lens, and a 2MP macro shooter. For selfies and video calls, there is a 20MP shooter on the front.</p>

<p>Other notable features include Dolby Atmos support from its dual stereo speakers, an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6, NFC, IR blaster, and much more. Keep in mind that this is just a new color option and doesn&#8217;t bring upgrades in terms of hardware. So the pricing should be in line with the other variants. </p>

<h3>Nothing Phone (3a) Pro vs Redmi Note 14 Pro+: Design &amp; Display</h3>

<p>With the Phone (3a) Pro, Nothing brings back its iconic transparent design that includes the Glyph LED lighting interface. These strips consist of three LED strips. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a more conventional design. Both models have a glass rear panel, but the Redmi offers an aluminum frame while the Phone (3a) Pro has a plastic middle frame.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-675764" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Nothing Phone (3a) Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro sports a taller 6.77-inch AMOLED display that has an FHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits of peak brightness. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a FHD+ resolution, 3000 nits of peak brightness, and a 120Hz refresh rate as well.</p>

<h3>Specifications</h3>

<p>Under the hood, both devices are equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC. However, the Phone (3a) Pro pairs this chip with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ maxes out at 12GB + 256GB. However, one area where the Redmi has a slight advantage over Nothing&#8217;s latest device is battery size and charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="812" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-1024x812.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro+" class="wp-image-664628" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-1024x812.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-300x238.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-768x609.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-696x552.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-1068x847.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1-530x420.png 530w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-1.png 1226w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Nothing Phone (3a) Pro is powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack, which supports 50W wired fast charging. But the brand does not ship the device with a charging brick in the box. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ has a slightly bigger 5,110mAh battery but with a faster 120W wired fast charging. </p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>You get a triple camera setup on both smartphones, which includes a telephoto shooter. The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro features a 50MP (Main) + 8MP (Ultra Wide) + 50MP (Telephoto) setup on the rear. The periscope sensor offers up to 3x optical zoom, with both the main and telephoto also supporting OIS (Optical Image Stabilization). For selfies and video calls, there is a 50MP shooter on the front.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Nothing Phone (3a) Pro" class="wp-image-674789" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/02/Nothing-Phone-3a-Pro-2.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the Redmi Note 14 Pro+, the 50MP (Main) + 8MP (Ultra Wide) + 50MP (Telephoto) makes a return but with different sensors and a telephoto that offers 2.5x optical zoom. The two sensors save the ultra wide get OIS and the front has a 20MP selfie camera. </p>

<h3>Pricing</h3>

<p>Xiaomi sells the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ for a starting price tag of 30,999 INR for the 8GB + 128GB option. Nothing sells its latest Phone (3a) Pro for 29,999 INR for the same storage configuration, but bank offers bring it down to around 27,999 INR. </p>

<p>The Honor Magic 7 is powered by a 5650mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the Magic 7 Pro features a 5850mAh silicon-carbon battery, both offering 100W wired fast charging and 80W wireless charging. The use of silicon-carbon technology ensures higher energy density, enabling longer runtimes while maintaining sleek designs. The enhanced battery efficiency is complemented by advanced cooling systems, including stainless steel VC cooling and graphite sheets, ensuring optimal performance during intensive tasks.</p>

<p>Both phones run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage. The Magic 7 Pro distinguishes itself with a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, capable of 3x optical zoom and 100x digital zoom, along with a 50MP main sensor and ultra-wide lens. The Magic 7 shares a similar camera setup but lacks the advanced telephoto capabilities. With IP68 and IP69 ratings, 1-120Hz LTPO OLED displays, and Magic UI 9.0, the Honor Magic 7 Series combines cutting-edge technology with superior durability, solidifying its position as a flagship contender in 2025.</p>

<h3><strong>Final Thoughts</strong></h3>

<p>Chinese smartphone makers have rapidly embraced silicon-carbon battery technology, integrating 6,000mAh and above capacities into their flagship devices, while Samsung and Apple remain limited to 5,000mAh batteries. With brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Vivo, Oppo, Realme, and Honor pushing the limits of battery efficiency, Samsung is reportedly developing its own silicon-carbon batteries, though its implementation timeline remains unclear. Apple, known for its slow adoption of new technologies, may take even longer to integrate these advancements.</p>

<p>While software optimizations and power-efficient chips help extend battery life, they cannot overcome the limitations of small battery capacities. As Chinese manufacturers continue to set new industry benchmarks, it is inevitable that Samsung and Apple will have to adopt silicon-carbon batteries to remain competitive. The future of smartphone battery technology is already here, it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the industry catches up.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="648" height="710" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-88.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-668890" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-88.png 648w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-88-274x300.png 274w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-88-383x420.png 383w" sizes="(max-width: 648px) 100vw, 648px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 4</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi Turbo 4 and Redmi Note 14 Pro+ are both equipped with stunning AMOLED displays boasting 68B colors, 120Hz refresh rates, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support. The Turbo 4 offers a slightly brighter peak brightness of 3200 nits, compared to the 3000 nits of the Note 14 Pro+. Both feature Corning Gorilla Glass Victus for protection, ensuring durability. While the Turbo 4 emphasizes sleek minimalism, the Note 14 Pro+ enhances premium appeal with its optional eco-leather back and IP69K rating for enhanced resistance, making it a better option for rugged use.</p>

<p>If outdoor usage or aesthetic versatility is a priority, the Note 14 Pro+ is a better pick. However, the Turbo 4’s higher brightness gives it a slight edge for media consumption.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="552" height="712" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-89.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-668891" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-89.png 552w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-89-233x300.png 233w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-89-326x420.png 326w" sizes="(max-width: 552px) 100vw, 552px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

The Turbo 4 leads with a 6550 mAh battery, offering longer usage, while the Note 14 Pro+ has a slightly smaller 6200 mAh battery. Both support 90W fast charging, ensuring quick top-ups.</p>

<p>The Turbo 4 has superior battery capacity and a slightly more powerful chipset, making it better suited for gaming and multitasking. However, the Snapdragon chipset in the Note 14 Pro+ is efficient and offers solid performance for everyday use.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="466" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-1024x466.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-668892" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-1024x466.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-300x137.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-768x350.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-696x317.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-1068x487.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90-922x420.png 922w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-90.png 1339w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Turbo 4 features a dual-camera setup: a 50 MP primary and 8 MP ultrawide lens, while the Note 14 Pro+ offers a triple-camera array with a 50 MP main, 50 MP telephoto (2.5x optical zoom), and 8 MP ultrawide. Both excel in 4K video but differ in functionality, with the Note 14 Pro+ offering a telephoto lens for better zoom capabilities.</p>

<p>For photography enthusiasts, the Note 14 Pro+ is the clear winner due to its versatile triple-camera system and optical zoom.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro+</a> are two flagship contenders vying for attention in the competitive smartphone market. Both brands bring cutting-edge features, innovative designs, and powerful performance, but choosing between them is tough for buyers. This comparison dives into key aspects like design, performance, cameras, and pricing to help you decide which device suits your needs better. As smartphones increasingly double as tools for work, creativity, and entertainment, understanding the nuances of these two models is crucial for making an informed purchase.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="661" height="743" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-14.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-667277" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-14.png 661w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-14-267x300.png 267w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-14-374x420.png 374w" sizes="(max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px" /><figcaption>OPPO Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 Pro boasts a premium build with a glass front, aluminum alloy frame, and glass back, offering durability with IP68/IP69 ratings. Its 6.83-inch AMOLED display features HDR10+ and a peak brightness of 1200 nits. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+, while equally robust, ups the ante with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and either Gorilla Glass 7i or eco-leather on the back. Its 6.67-inch AMOLED screen showcases Dolby Vision and achieves an impressive 3000 nits of peak brightness.</p>

<p>While the Oppo offers a larger screen, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ stands out with its superior brightness and advanced display protection, making it the better option for outdoor usage and long-term durability. Both devices cater to different priorities: Oppo for its immersive size and sleek aluminum frame, and Redmi for brightness and ruggedness.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications&nbsp;</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="599" height="739" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-15.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-667278" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-15.png 599w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-15-243x300.png 243w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-15-324x400.png 324w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-15-340x420.png 340w" sizes="(max-width: 599px) 100vw, 599px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Oppo Reno 13 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipset, offering robust performance and energy efficiency. It includes up to 1TB of storage and 16GB RAM. Its 5800mAh battery supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging, making it versatile. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ features the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor, paired with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its larger 6200mAh Si/C battery is backed by 90W wired charging.</p>

<p>The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ edges ahead with a slightly larger battery and faster charging, which is great for power users. However, Oppo’s wireless charging capability and massive storage options might appeal to users seeking versatility.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="845" height="434" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-667280" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16.png 845w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16-300x154.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16-768x394.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16-696x357.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-16-818x420.png 818w" sizes="(max-width: 845px) 100vw, 845px" /><figcaption>OPPO Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 Pro offers a triple-camera setup with dual 50 MP sensors, including a 3.5x optical zoom telephoto lens, complemented by an 8 MP ultrawide lens. Its selfie camera is an impressive 50 MP. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ matches the triple-camera setup with similar wide and telephoto specs but adds a slightly wider ultrawide lens and a 20 MP front camera.</p>

<p>Both phones excel in photography, but Oppo edges out in telephoto performance and selfie camera resolution. Redmi’s broader ultrawide lens is better for group shots or landscapes, making the choice hinge on individual needs.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 Pro is approximately $470, while the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ comes in at $375. This makes Redmi notably more affordable for users seeking flagship features at a lower price point. Oppo, while costlier, justifies its price with wireless charging and premium build materials.</p>

<div class="wp-container-2 wp-block-buttons">

</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator"/>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="575" height="689" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-17.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-667281" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-17.png 575w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-17-250x300.png 250w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-17-351x420.png 351w" sizes="(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Unique to Oppo is its wireless charging and aluminum alloy frame, lending it a premium feel. Redmi counters with Dolby Vision, eco-leather options, and a massive 6200mAh battery. The Oppo’s telephoto zoom and selfie camera resolution are more advanced, whereas Redmi excels in brightness and protection.</p>

<p>For value-driven buyers, Redmi’s features at a lower price make it a compelling choice.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi</a> recently<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/02/redmi-turbo-4-debuts-dimensity-8400-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> took the wraps off</a> its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-turbo-4/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Turbo 4</a><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-turbo-4/"> </a>smartphone. This is the second device under the Redmi Turbo series, a line that once belonged to the Redmi Note Turbo family. </p>

<p>So spiritually, the Redmi Turbo 4 aligns closely with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 </a>series, and its closest competitor within this lineup is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro+</a>. So, how do these smartphones stack up against each other? Let’s break it down.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Turbo 4 vs Redmi Note 14 Pro+" class="wp-image-667216" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-vs-Redmi-Note-14-Pro-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Design and Build</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi Turbo 4 is slightly lighter at 203.5g compared to the Note 14 Pro+ (up to 210g). While the Turbo 4 sticks to a straightforward glass and metal build, the Note 14 Pro+ adds a bit of flair with its eco-leather option, alongside Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front. Both phones are IP68-rated for dust and water resistance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="800" height="631" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Turbo 4" class="wp-image-667199" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-300x237.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-768x606.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-696x549.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-Turbo-4-532x420.png 532w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 4</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Dimensionally, the Turbo 4 is slimmer at 8.1mm, whereas the Note 14 Pro+ is slightly thicker at 8.8mm. While neither device will feel cumbersome, the Turbo 4’s marginally thinner profile may appeal to those looking for a sleeker feel.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Display Quality</strong></h3>

<p>Both phones feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, offering crisp visuals with ~446 PPI. However, there are some distinctions in peak brightness. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="617" height="739" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-175.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro Plus" class="wp-image-666443" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-175.png 617w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-175-250x300.png 250w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-175-351x420.png 351w" sizes="(max-width: 617px) 100vw, 617px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Turbo 4 edges out with a staggering 3200 nits peak brightness, while the Note 14 Pro+ maxes out at 3000 nits. Both displays support Dolby Vision and HDR10+, ensuring vibrant colors and excellent contrast.</p>

<p>The Turbo 4’s focus on extreme brightness levels could be advantageous for outdoor use, while the Note 14 Pro+ offers the added durability of Gorilla Glass Victus 2.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Performance and Software</strong></h3>

<p>Here’s where things get interesting. The Turbo 4 is powered by the latest and more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. The SoC is manufactured using a 4nm process and has a big-core Cortex-A725 architecture and a high-performance Immortalis-G720 MC7 GPU. </p>

<p>Meanwhile, the Note 14 Pro+ relies on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, which is also built on a 4nm process but uses four Cortex-A720 cores and four Cortex-A520 cores. </p>

<p>The Turbo 4’s chipset, with its powerful Cortex-A725 cores and a more advanced GPU, provides a significant edge in intensive tasks like gaming and multitasking. On the other hand, you can expect the Note 14 Pro+ to perform admirably in day-to-day use.</p>

<p>Both devices run Xiaomi’s HyperOS. The Turbo 4 debuts with the latest Android 15, while the Note 14 Pro+ starts with Android 14. While both are expected to receive software updates, the Turbo 4 will likely stay relevant for longer.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Camera Capabilities</strong></h3>

<p>The Turbo 4 opts for a dual rear-camera setup. It has a 50 MP wide sensor with OIS and an 8 MP ultrawide lens. The Note 14 Pro+ takes a more versatile approach with a triple-camera system: a 50 MP main sensor with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto lens offering 2.5x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera.</p>

<p>For photography enthusiasts, the Note 14 Pro+ is the clear winner. Its telephoto lens should churn out better portraits that Turbo 4 simply can’t match. However, the Turbo 4’s camera system shouldn’t be that far behind for basic point-and-shoot use. On the front, both phones feature a 20 MP selfie camera.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Battery, Connectivity, and Extras</strong></h3>

<p>Battery life is another critical area where these devices compete closely. The Turbo 4 packs a slightly larger 6550 mAh battery than the Note 14 Pro+’s 6200 mAh. Both devices support 90W wired charging and promise full charge in under an hour.</p>

<p>Both phones feature modern connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6, NFC, and infrared ports. However, the Turbo 4 boasts Bluetooth 6.0 compared to the Note 14 Pro+’s Bluetooth 5.4. For audiophiles, both devices deliver Hi-Res audio, though neither offers a 3.5mm headphone jack.</p>

<p>One distinction is in the positioning systems. The Turbo 4 supports a more comprehensive set of satellite systems, including NavIC, which might be relevant for users in certain regions.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Storage and Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Turbo 4 offers configurations ranging from 256GB/12GB to 512GB/16GB with UFS 4.0 storage. The Note 14 Pro+, on the other hand, starts at 128GB/8GB and goes up to 512GB/16GB but uses UFS 2.2 or UFS 3.1, depending on the variant.</p>

<p>For power users, the Turbo 4’s storage performance could make a noticeable difference when loading apps or transferring files. However, casual users might find the Note 14 Pro+ perfectly adequate.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Verdict: Which Should You Choose?</strong></h3>

<p>The choice between the Redmi Turbo 4 and the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ comes down to your priorities. The Turbo 4 impresses with its performance-oriented Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, extreme brightness display, and larger battery.&nbsp;</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Note 14 Pro+ offers a more versatile camera system, a stylish build with eco-leather options, and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 for added durability. It’s a better fit for those who value design and camera capabilities over raw performance.</p>

<p>Ultimately, both phones pack enough features to make them compelling choices in their respective segments. It boils down to whether you prioritize speed and endurance or photography and aesthetics. Either way, Xiaomi has ensured that you’ll get a capable device, no matter your choice.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi </a>recently unveiled its latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/12/09/redmi-note-14-launched-in-india-with-starting-price-of-rs-17999-specs-features/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Note 14 series of smartphones in the Indian market</a>. Now, it appears that these devices along with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/25/redmi-watch-5-lite-launch-india/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Watch 5 Lite</a> is heading to the European market as well. But ahead of the European announcement, the pricing for these smartphones and the smartwatch was leaked online. </p>

<h2>Redmi Note 14 series &amp; Redmi Watch 5 Lite European Pricing</h2>

<p>The news arrives from a <em><a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/redmi-note-14-series-european-pricing-exclusive/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">91Mobiles </a></em>report, which revealed the pricing details for these devices. To recall, the Redmi Note 14 lineup consists of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Note 14</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Note 14 Pro</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro-plus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Note 14 Pro+</a> models. Although, the report adds that the 4G only Redmi Note 14 4G will also debut alongside these three models in Europe. So it will likely arrive as the cheapest or entry level phone in the upcoming lineup.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-1024x683.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro" class="wp-image-663372" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Featured.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Note 14 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The report sourced the pricing from retail listings, which revealed that the Redmi Note 14 4G will cost around 240 Euros for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will be available in three colors options, namely Mightnight Black, Ocean Blue, and Lime Green. On the other hand, the Redmi Note 14 5G in Coral Green, Lavender Purple, and Midnight Black will launch for around 300 Euros in the region with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Xiaomi could launch a cheaper 6GB RAM option as well, but this is still unclear.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series had its pricing revealed, bundled with the Redmi Watch 5 Lite. So the Redmi Note 14 Pro 5G (8GB + 256GB) with the Redmi Watch 5 Lite for 397 Euros, while the 4G Note 14 Pro with Watch 5 Lite may cost around 311 Euros. The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G with the Watch 5 Lite was listed for 497 Euros, with its Note 14 Pro+ 4G bundle also having an identical price tag. These are likely not final pricing and might get slight tweaks, so stay tuned for more updates.</p>

<p>Xiaomi is set to launch its Redmi Note 14 series in India next week. The event will take place on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/21/redmi-note-14-india-launch-date-december-9/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">December 9th</a> at 12 PM IST, and the company has confirmed the release of three models — the base <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14</a>, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro</a>, and the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Redmi Note 14 Pro+</a>.</p>

<p>Xiaomi introduced the Note 14 series in China a few months ago, So naturally, the global variants are expected to mirror their Chinese counterparts. However, the company will make a few regional adjustments to suit global markets. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image"><img alt="" /></figure>

<p>Additionally, Anuj Sharma, Xiaomi&#8217;s Chief Marketing Officer, recently talked on social media about the series&#8217; evolution. According to him, the new Note series focuses more on delivering a “refined, premium, and long-lasting experience” for customers.</p>

<p>Here&#8217;s what to expect from the Redmi Note 14 series globally.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Note 14</strong></h3>

<p>The base model of the Redmi Note 14 will feature a flat-edge display. That’s a departure from the curved displays seen on its Pro siblings. The rear camera setup will include a 50MP primary sensor with Sony&#8217;s LYT-600 sensor and OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), along with a 2MP depth sensor.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-Note-14-Featured-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>A welcome detail for audiophiles – the Redmi Note 14 will likely retain the beloved 3.5mm headphone jack. And while Indian specifications haven&#8217;t been fully revealed yet, leaks suggest the phone will sport a 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The device is expected to be powered by the Dimensity 7025 Ultra chipset, coupled with a 5,110mAh battery for extended usage.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Note 14 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi Note 14 Pro steps up with a more premium design and improved durability. It features a 3D curved AMOLED display, protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It also offers water and dust resistance, confirmed with an IP68 rating. The camera system is expected to mirror the base model, with a 50MP primary sensor and OIS, though further details remain undisclosed.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Xiaomi-Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-500x500.jpg?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>In the Chinese version, the Note 14 Pro sported a larger 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with a sharper 1.5K resolution, while maintaining the 120Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It was powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset and featured an upgraded camera setup, including an 8MP ultrawide lens, alongside the 50MP primary and 2MP depth sensors. The battery capacity was increased to 5,500mAh from its predecessor’s 5100mAh cell.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Note 14 Pro+</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is set to be the flagship of the series. It will likely retain the 3D curved AMOLED display seen in the Pro variant.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Xiaomi has also teased over 20 unique AI-powered features for the phone. While not explicitly mentioning the features here, it could be some useful camera tricks like object removal or something.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The teaser image also reveals the phone&#8217;s design with a triple rear camera setup with OIS support.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus.webp?x44794" alt="" /></figure>

<p>Similar to the Chinese variant, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is likely to feature the same 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display as the Pro model. However, it will be powered by the more powerful Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The camera system on the back includes a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and a 50MP telephoto lens. To top it off, the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ is expected to include the largest battery ever seen in a Redmi Note series, with a substantial 6,200mAh capacity for extended usage.</p>

<h3><strong>Looking Ahead</strong></h3>

<p>Historically, the Indian and Chinese variants of the Redmi Note series have shared similar specifications, and this trend is expected to continue. The Indian models are likely to mirror their Chinese counterparts. All three phones in the series, regardless of the variant, will offer 5G connectivity to meet the growing demand for next-generation mobile data speeds.</p>

The new mid range smartphones are finally arriving in the region next month, so here&#8217;s everything we know like the launch date, specs, and more.</p>

<h2>Redmi Note 14 5G Series India Launch Date</h2>

<p>Earlier this week, the Chinese tech giant <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/19/redmi-note-14-series-teaser-released-in-india-ahead-of-december-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">teased the December launch</a> of the Redmi Note 14 series. Now, it has officially confirmed the 9th December 2024 launch date. To recall, the last gen Redmi Note series smartphones were announced in the country in January. This means that the Redmi Note 14 lineup is arriving a month ahead of its typical launch timeline. The new series include the base <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-note-14-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro+</a>. </p>

<p>Looking at the official image poster, the upcoming smartphones were teased with a &#8220;Super Camera, Super AI&#8221; and we can even see the camera module of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+. The brand <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/26/redmi-note-14-pro-note-14-pro-plus-launched-china/">first unveiled these devices in China</a> back in September. So we can expect all three models to drop in India next month as well. Xiaomi might release the Redmi Note 14 models in India with a few changes compared to its Chinese counterpart. Although, this is still unclear at the moment. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="463" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14" class="wp-image-661137" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date-300x136.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date-768x347.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date-696x315.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-Note-14-India-Launch-Date-929x420.jpg 929w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Since their announcement, we have covered these devices in a bunch of specials and features. You can click <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/30/what-makes-redmi-note-14-pro-plus-special/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">here </a>to see what makes the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ special. We also wrote a piece regarding all the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/01/redmi-note-14-upgrades/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">upgrades that the Redmi Note 14 offers</a>. Xiaomi plans to release a 4G variant in the global market soon as well, as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/22/redmi-note-14-pro-4g-certified-imda/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro 4G was spotted in the IMDA</a> certification last month. <p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/26/redmi-note-14-pro-note-14-pro-plus-launched-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 Pro series</a> is off to a strong start. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a> announced today that the top-tier Note 14 Pro+ model has smashed the record for first-week sales of any Android phone in 2024, across all price ranges.</p>

<p>While the company hasn’t shared the specific sales figures, the achievement suggests the phone resonated with budget-conscious buyers looking for flagship features. The Redmi Note series has always been known for offering solid specs at competitive prices, and the Note 14 Pro+ seems to be continuing that tradition.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="450" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-sales-figure.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Note 14 Pro+ sales" class="wp-image-653691" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-sales-figure.jpg 450w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-sales-figure-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-sales-figure-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 450px) 100vw, 450px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ gains popularity among Chinese audience</strong></h2>

<p>Part of the phone&#8217;s appeal could be its impressive durability. Xiaomi boasts IP66, IP68, and even IP69 dust and water resistance ratings for the Note 14 Pro series. So the phone is not only protected against dust and water immersion but even high-pressure water jets.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/image-4.png?x44794" alt="" /></figure></div>

<p>To capitalize on the early momentum, Xiaomi is extending the first-sale benefits for the entire Note 14 Pro series until October 14th. This means anyone purchasing a Note 14 Pro or Note 14 Pro+ before that date gets a comprehensive warranty package.&nbsp;</p>

<p>It includes a one-year screen breakage warranty, a one-year battery cover warranty, a one-year water ingress warranty, and a surprisingly generous five-year battery warranty. Additionally, for the first year of ownership, buyers can get a complete phone replacement instead of just repairs.</p>

<h2><strong>Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The phone features a 6.67-inch curved OLED display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. Its 1220 x 2712 resolution delivers a pixel density of 446 ppi for bright, sharp, and clear visuals.</p>

<p>Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, the device comes with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. </p>

<p>For photography, the phone includes a 50 MP main camera with a large 1/1.55″ sensor and OIS. It’s complemented by a 50 MP 2.5x telephoto lens and an 8 MP ultrawide camera.&nbsp;</p>

<p>To power up things, you get a large 6200 mAh battery inside. Yet the phone weighs just 210 grams. This is thanks to Si/C battery technology, which offers higher energy density in compact form. It also supports 120W fast charging for quick power-ups.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="643" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-1024x643.webp?x44794" alt="Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus" class="wp-image-652828" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-1024x643.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-300x188.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-768x483.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-696x437.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-1068x671.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus-668x420.webp 668w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Redmi-Note-14-Pro-Plus.webp 1469w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Both devices have a completely different user base. While it&#8217;s likely for all Apple users with the budget, the world of Android has a lot more options from different brands. A midrange Android device from that crowd shooting at the top of the trending list beating the recently released highest-end iPhone is indeed an achievement for its manufacturer.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="688" height="917" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Top-10-trending-phones-of-week-39.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-652907" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Top-10-trending-phones-of-week-39.png 688w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Top-10-trending-phones-of-week-39-225x300.png 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/Top-10-trending-phones-of-week-39-315x420.png 315w" sizes="(max-width: 688px) 100vw, 688px" /><figcaption>Credit: GSMArena</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The 3rd and 4th positions in the trending list are also held by models from the Redmi Note 14 series—the standard Redmi Note 14 and the Redmi Note 14 Pro. Meanwhile, the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra takes the 7th spot.</p>

<p>For context, in the trending list for the previous week, the Huawei Mate XT managed to rank second while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-16-pro-max/">iPhone 16 Pro Max</a> ranked on top.</p>

<h2>Redmi Note 14 Pro+ specifications:</h2>

<p>The phone packs a 6.67-inch curved OLED display that reaches a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The display panel has 1220 x 2712 pixels, translating to a pixel density of 446ppi. It ensures bright, crisp, and clear visuals.</p>

<p>In terms of performance, the phone packs the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chip, launched in August this year. It scores over 1000 and 3000 in Geekbench single and multi-core CPU tests respectively.</p>

<p>Speaking of cameras, this phone packs a 50 MP main camera with a 1/1.55&#8243; large sensor and OIS support. It is paired with a 50 MP 2.5x telephoto camera and an 8 MP ultrawide. The addition of the 2.5x telephoto camera is something that makes the phone special as it lets users take crisp and clear portraits.</p>

<p>The phone also packs a massive 6200 mAh battery but still weighs only 210 grams thanks to the Si/C battery technology, which offers a higher energy density. This is paired with 120W fast charging.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi </a>recently announced the Redmi Note 14 series in China. These smartphones came with a 50MP main camera. However, the brand made some changes and decided to introduce the Redmi Note 14 Pro series with a 200MP camera in the Global market. According to information obtained by XiaomiTime from HyperOS software, the Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ will feature Samsung&#8217;s ISOCELL HP3 camera sensor. </p>

<p>This change suggests that the 50MP JN1 Telephoto sensor in the Chinese version of the devices will not be in the models sold in the Global market. Meanwhile, the Redmi Note 14 Pro series won&#8217;t show any differences in India, using the same camera sensor as the devices unveiled in China.</p>

<h2>The Redmi Note 14 Pro series stands out with a 200MP main camera </h2>

<p>With the introduction of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/26/redmi-note-14-pro-note-14-pro-plus-launched-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Note 14 series,</a> all the features of the smartphones were officially announced. The devices with 50MP triple camera system attract a lot of attention. Xiaomi is preparing to introduce the Redmi Note 14 series in the Global market and accordingly made some changes to the new smartphones. Redmi Note 14 Pro and Pro+ will come with a 200MP Samsung ISOCELL HP3 camera sensor.</p>

</figure>

<p>The Chinese version of the Redmi Note 14 Pro+ used the 50MP OVX8000 camera sensor. But this has changed with the Global version. Also, a 2MP OV02B10 macro sensor was added instead of the Telephoto camera. The Redmi Note 14 Pro gets the Samsung ISOCELL HP3 sensor, which should be better than the Sony IMX882 in the Chinese version of this device. We hope Xiaomi manages to surprise users with a good camera software.</p>
