The Samsung Galaxy M53 5G sports a plastic built and has an Infinity-O display. It has a 6.7-inch SuperAMOLED Plus panel with a Full-HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection.

This time around Samsung has opted for a MediaTek chipset. The smartphone draws power from the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC that has Mali G68 GPU. It is paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone also has a RAM Plus feature of up to 6GB. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage of up to 1TB.

The smartphone has a quad-camera system placed in a squarish camera island. It has a 108MP main lens, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and two 2MP units for macro and depth shots. Samsung recently announced the Galaxy M53 5G smartphone for the European and select Asian markets. Now, the South Korean giant is all set to launch the smartphone in the Indian market this month.

While the company has not yet confirmed the launch date in India, tipster Mukul Sharma has shared a teser poster which confirms that the Galaxy M53 5G will be officially launched in the Indian market on 22nd April.

Since the device has already been launched in other markets, we know the specifications of the smartphone. It features a 6.7-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ screen resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There’s also a microSD card slot, allowing users to expand the storage capacity up to 1TB.

In the camera department, there’s a quad-camera setup on the back that includes a 108-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. On the front side, it comes with a 32-megapixel snapper for taking selfies and video calling.

Connectivity options on the phone include Dual SIM, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, and GPS. It runs the Android 12 operating system out-of-the-box with the company’s own Samsung One UI 4.1 custom user interface. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and has support for 25W charging.
