The company announced the rollout on October 25, via its official X account, confirming that the new Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro are the first to receive it.

The initial builds — OS3.0.3.0.WOEEUXM for the 15T and OS3.0.4.0.WOSEUXM for the 15T Pro — arrive as OTA updates, and they also reportedly include the October security patch. The rollout begins in Europe, with other regions to follow soon. Users can check for updates under Settings > About Phone > System Update as availability expands in the coming days.

Interestingly, Xiaomi’s mid-range 15T models are getting the new OS ahead of the flagship Xiaomi 15 and 15 Ultra, which feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The 15T Pro, powered by the Dimensity 9400+, will effectively serve as the first global test group for the refined platform.

According to Xiaomi’s rollout roadmap, the 15 and 15 Ultra, Redmi Note 14, and Poco F7/X7 series will follow in November, with the Xiaomi 14, Poco F6, and other 2024 models getting the update by late November or early December.

HyperOS 3 introduces a new “Hyper Island” quick menu for media, navigation, and notifications, along with faster performance and improved cross-device syncing between phones, tablets, and wearables. With this update, Xiaomi continues closing the software gap with Apple’s iOS — and for 15T owners, the upgrade starts now.

The Xiaomi 17 lineup just debuted in China alongside the new Xiaomi 15T. Now, a fresh leak has officially revealed the camera details of all four smartphones. While the 15T is a cutdown version of last year’s flagships, the new 17 series sees some surprising downgrades. So here’s everything you need to know.

Xiaomi 17

According to tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, the standard Xiaomi 17 arrives with a 1/1.31-inch 50MP Light Hunter 950 as its main camera. This is a newer custom camera, but it keeps the same sensor size as last year’s Xiaomi 15, which had a 50MP Light Fusion 900.

Xiaomi 17

Meanwhile, the 2.6x telephoto shooter remains the same between the two devices. However, the Xiaomi 15 has a bigger 1/2.76-inch Samsung ISOCELL JN1 ultra wide angle lens compared to the Xiaomi 17’s 1/2.88 inch 50MP OV50M ultra wide shooter. On the front, the same 50MP OV50M makes a return for the Xiaomi 17, which is an upgrade over the Xiaomi 15s’ 1/3.14-inch 32MP OV32B selfie camera.

Xiaomi 17 Pro & Xiaomi 17 Pro Max

The Xiaomi 17 Pro models share nearly identical camera setups, excluding the periscope telephoto lens. Both models get an upgraded 50MP 1/1.28-inch Light Hunter A950L primary camera, which matches the likes of the iPhone 17 Pros, Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Pixel 10 Pros. However, the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max gets a larger 1/1.95-inch ISOCELL GN8 5x periscope telephoto shooter.

Xiaomi 17 Pro Max

The Xiaomi 17 Pro gets downgraded to the smaller JN5, but keeps the 5x optical zoom. The entire Xiaomi 17 lineup appears to use the same camera sensors for the ultra wide angle and selfie shooter, which is the 50MP OmniVision OV50M sensor.

Xiaomi 15T Series

Lastly, we have the Xiaomi 15T series. These are the Chinese tech giant’s budget flagship models. The vanilla 15T features the 1/1.55-inch OVX8000 as its main sensor, but the more expensive 15T Pro upgrades to the 1/1.31-inch OVX9100. Both of these are 50MP cameras, although the 15T Pro matches last year’s Xiaomi 15 flagship. For the ultra wide angle shots, the duo get the 12MP OV13B sensor.

Similar to the primary camera, the telephoto shooters are also different. The Xiaomi 15T Pro gets a longer 5x optical zoom range thanks to its Samsung JN5 shooter, while the JN5 on the base 15T maxes out at 2x zoom. You get a 32MP Samsung S5KKDS selfie camera on both versions.

The Takeaway

Calling these changes a straight downgrade can also be a bit unfair. The improved ISP on the latest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 and better tuning on the cameras could give the newer flagship an edge. Hardware alone isn’t everything and cutting edge software optimizations show that. But these can be seen as trade offs from the brand offering more on certain areas, including a new rear display on the Xiaomi 17 Pros.

Xiaomi 15T and 14T are consecutive flagship-level releases, offering strong performance, display, and camera features. This comparison is important for users deciding whether the incremental upgrades in the 15T, like improved chipset, battery, and durability, justify the higher price. By highlighting the key differences, this guide helps buyers understand which model delivers better value and whether upgrading is worthwhile, especially for power users, gamers, or those seeking enhanced media and durability features.

Design and Display

Build and Feel:
Xiaomi 15T upgrades to Gorilla Glass 7i on the front and a glass fiber back, improving durability compared to the 14T’s Gorilla Glass 5 and standard glass back. The IP68 rating is slightly enhanced, allowing immersion up to 3m for 30 minutes versus 2m in the 14T. These changes make the 15T feel more premium and robust, particularly for users concerned with accidental drops or water exposure.

Display Quality:
The 15T has a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display versus 6.67 inches on the 14T. While the 15T offers 3200 nits peak brightness, the 14T reaches 4000 nits peak. The 15T’s display has a lower refresh rate (120Hz vs 144Hz) but includes Dolby Vision and HDR10+, along with better PWM handling. The upgrade improves HDR content, color accuracy, and overall media experience, though the slightly lower refresh rate may affect extremely smooth scrolling.

Verdict:
The Xiaomi 15T’s display and build upgrades enhance durability and HDR media quality, making it more appealing for premium use. The 14T remains strong but lacks the refined protection and HDR optimization.

Specifications

Performance:
The 15T uses the Dimensity 8400 Ultra, which has higher clock speeds and a more advanced GPU (Mali-G720 MC7) than the 14T’s Dimensity 8300 Ultra (Mali G615-MC6). Storage is upgraded to UFS 4.1 from UFS 4.0, which improves app load times and file transfers. These enhancements provide a noticeable boost in gaming, multitasking, and overall system responsiveness.

Battery and Charging:
Battery capacity increases from 5000 mAh to 5500 mAh. Charging remains at 67W, with the 15T fully charging in 50 minutes compared to 45 minutes for the 14T. The additional 500 mAh provides longer endurance, especially for power users, though the difference may be moderate for average users.

Verdict:
The 15T offers meaningful performance and endurance improvements, making it a better choice for gamers and heavy users, while the 14T is adequate for general use.

Camera

Main and Secondary Lenses:
Both phones have a triple Leica camera setup: 50 MP wide, 50 MP telephoto, 12 MP ultrawide. The 15T telephoto lens uses a slightly shorter focal length (46mm vs 50mm) and includes a color spectrum sensor for improved color accuracy. Video capabilities are similar but slightly optimized on the 15T for HDR10+ capture.

Selfie Camera:
The front camera is slightly upgraded with a wider f/2.2 lens on the 15T compared to f/2.0 on the 14T, offering improved framing and HDR video support.

Verdict:
Camera improvements are incremental. The 15T delivers slightly better color accuracy and HDR performance, but the 14T remains capable for casual photography.

Pricing

The 15T is priced at $760, $160 higher than the 14T at $600. The price difference covers the upgrades in build, chipset, battery, and minor camera improvements. For users valuing performance and durability, the 15T is worth the extra cost. Budget-conscious users may find the 14T offers most of the core experience at a lower price.

Disclaimer:
Prices are approximate and may vary based on country, region, and applicable taxes.

Conclusion

The 15T’s notable upgrades include Gorilla Glass 7i, glass fiber back, Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset, 5500 mAh battery, improved HDR display, and a color spectrum sensor for more accurate imaging. These enhancements target users seeking premium performance, durability, and media quality.

Verdict:
Upgrading to the 15T is worthwhile for those who prioritize performance, endurance, and premium display. The 14T remains a strong option for those satisfied with slightly lower specs at a more affordable price.

Xiaomi is opening its first official store in Germany tomorrow, September 26, at the Limbecker Platz shopping center in Essen. The opening will run as a nine-day event through October 4 and marks a significant step in the company’s expansion across Europe.

The Essen store will give customers the chance to try out Xiaomi’s full product range, from smartphones and tablets to wearables and smart-home devices. It also brings localized support and hands-on service, something that has helped the brand gain ground in markets like China, where it already operates more than 10,000 retail outlets.

To mark the launch, Xiaomi is offering a series of promotions tied to the recently announced Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro, unveiled earlier this week in Munich. Priced from €649 and €799, the phones feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 and 9400+ chips, Leica-branded cameras with a 5x periscope zoom, and up to 1TB of storage. Buyers at the Essen store will be able to add a bundled product worth up to €400 for just €1.
Leica-backed triple camera system

The Xiaomi 15T carries three rear cameras with focal lengths from 15mm to 92mm. The main unit is a 50MP Leica Summilux camera with an f/1.7 aperture, optical image stabilization, and a Light Fusion 800 sensor. It is joined by a 50MP telephoto camera with an f/1.9 aperture and a 46mm equivalent focal length, plus a 12MP ultra-wide lens with an f/2.2 aperture and a 120-degree field of view. A 32MP front-facing camera covers selfies and video calls.

Xiaomi has included its AISP 2.0 processing, Master Portrait Mode with adjustable blur, and Leica Street Photography Mode. The Pro’s longer 135mm zoom is not present here. On the video side, the 15T records HDR10+ clips in 4K at 30 or 60 frames per second and in 1080p at 30 or 60 frames per second.

Performance and battery

Powering the 15T is the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra processor, manufactured on the 4nm process. It runs with CPU speeds up to 3.25GHz and a Mali-G720 GPU. The device comes with 12GB of RAM and storage options of either 256GB or 512GB using UFS 4.1.

The 5,500mAh battery supports 67W HyperCharge. Once plugged in, the phone can power on in less than four seconds. Xiaomi’s 3D IceLoop cooling system is included to maintain steady performance during demanding tasks.

Software and connectivity

The phone ships with Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The system includes a refreshed interface, stronger multitasking tools, and new AI-powered functions through HyperAI. It also connects more smoothly with other Xiaomi devices.

For connectivity, the 15T supports Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, and dual SIM setups with one nano SIM and one eSIM. Xiaomi Astral Communication allows offline voice calls between devices at distances up to 1.3 km. The Surge T1S tuner and Super Antenna Array improve reception and stability, especially for streaming or gaming.

Price and availability

The Xiaomi 15T is offered in Black, Gray, and Rose Gold. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at €649.90, while the 12GB + 512GB model costs €699.90.

As part of an Early Bird offer running until October 10, the 12GB + 512GB version is available at €649.90. Customers also receive a free Xiaomi Sound Party speaker valued at €129.90, while stocks last.

According to details shared by tipster @Sudhanshu1414, the standard Xiaomi 15T could be priced at €649, while the 15T Pro might come in at €799. Both are said to ship with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage as standard.

One notable detail is that the phones may launch with Android 15, even though Google rolled out Android 16 back in June. Xiaomi has already started recruiting beta testers for the update, but it isn’t expected to be available by the time the devices hit shelves.

That may leave some early buyers feeling like they’re already a version behind. In terms of performance, the phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity chips: Dimensity 8400-Ultra on the 15T and Dimensity 9400+ on the 15T Pro. Check out the Geekbench listings here for more context about the performance. The 15T series is expected just days before the Xiaomi 17 series, which remains exclusive to China for now. A leaked spy photo of the Xiaomi 15T have also surfaced, giving an early look at the design and some specifications.

The latest leak also mention a Redmi Pad 2 Pro priced at €349 for the 6GB/128GB version. The Xiaomi Watch S4 41mm may cost between €149 and €219, depending on the strap. Rounding out the lineup, the OpenWear Stereo Pro earbuds could be priced at €149.

Xiaomi’s September 24 event looks packed, but whether the 15T series can stand out so close to the 17 lineup remains to be seen.

A fresh leak has given us our first look at the upcoming Xiaomi 15T, and it arrives just days before the phone’s official debut. The image, showing the device still tucked inside its in-box sleeve, lays out some of the headline specs and hints at what Xiaomi has in store for its T-series refresh.

Xiaomi 15T spy photo

According to the photo, the Xiaomi 15T will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8400-Ultra, the same chip as the Poco X7 Pro (review), and an upgrade over the 8300-Ultra found in last year’s Xiaomi 14T (review). That should make it a strong performer for gaming and everyday use without pushing the price too high. The display also sees a noticeable upgrade, moving to a 6.83-inch panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. That’s bigger than the 6.67-inch screens used on last year’s 14T and the new Poco X7 Pro, giving users more space for streaming, reading, or multitasking.

Battery capacity is getting a bump as well. The 15T is listed with a 5,500mAh cell and support for 67W fast charging, which is 500mAh larger than its predecessor. Camera specs weren’t detailed in the leak, but the box does confirm the return of Leica Summilux lenses. The 14T shipped with a capable triple-camera system (including a 50MP main with OIS, a 50MP telephoto, and a 12MP ultra-wide), so it’s safe to expect similar or improved hardware this time around.

Alongside the regular 15T, Xiaomi is also lining up a 15T Pro. This model is expected to feature the Dimensity 9400+, a chip recently seen in the Redmi K80 Ultra, suggesting it could offer a noticeable performance jump for more demanding tasks.

Xiaomi has confirmed that the 15T series will launch on September 24, and teaser posts are already rolling out on its official X account. With the T-line positioned as a more affordable alternative to Xiaomi’s flagship models, the leaked specs suggest the company is again aiming to balance price and performance while undercutting rivals.

Xiaomi has officially announced the launch date on X but hasn’t yet detailed the full lineup. Leaks, however, point to two models: the standard Xiaomi 15T and the more premium 15T Pro. The Pro version is expected to stand out with a periscope telephoto camera offering 5x optical zoom (115 mm equivalent), along with other high-end features.

Reports suggest both phones will feature larger 6.83-inch displays (up from 6.67 inches on the 14T series), powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8400 in the 15T and the flagship Dimensity 9400+ in the Pro. Both models are tipped to ship with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage as standard.

Pricing is rumored to start at €649 (around $717) for the 15T and €799 (about $883) for the Pro. Other leaked specs include Leica-tuned triple cameras (50 MP main, 13 MP ultra-wide, 50 MP telephoto), 5,500 mAh batteries, and IP69-rated water and dust resistance. Charging speeds will differ: 67W on the 15T and 90W on the Pro.

With the 15T series, Xiaomi is aiming to strengthen its presence in the premium Android market. The mix of Leica cameras, powerful new chipsets, and competitive pricing could put real pressure on rivals like Samsung. The Pro model, in particular, looks set to appeal to photography enthusiasts with its periscope zoom and faster charging. Leaked CAD renders of both phones have also surfaced, hinting at some noticeable design changes.

The countdown to September 24 is now on, and Xiaomi will be hoping the 15T series carries forward the momentum of its T-series as one of the strongest alternatives to big-name flagships.

Xiaomi’s upcoming 15T series is no longer much of a mystery. A leak by Roland Quandt (via WinFuture) has revealed the renders and full specs of the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro. The details reveal two devices that share a lot on the surface but differ in some very key areas.

The design difference between the two phones is more than skin-deep. The regular Xiaomi 15T reportedly uses a plastic frame, while the Pro steps things up with metal for a more premium feel.

Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro Specs

Both phones are built around a 6.83-inch AMOLED panel with Corning’s new Gorilla Glass 7i on top. The Pro model can push its refresh rate all the way up to 144Hz, while the 15T tops out at 120Hz. The screen has a resolution of 2772 × 1280 pixels, with up to 3,200 nits peak brightness, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and full DCI-P3 coverage.

Xiaomi 15T Pro color options

Under the hood, Xiaomi is splitting the lineup between two MediaTek chips. The standard 15T runs on the Dimensity 8400 Ultra, while the Pro gets Dimensity 9400+. Both come with 12GB of RAM and either 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The biggest distinction comes from the cameras. The Xiaomi 15T Pro packs a 50MP Light Fusion 900 main sensor with OIS, a 50MP 5x telephoto using Samsung’s JN5 sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide.

The regular 15T scales this down to a 50MP Light Fusion 800 main sensor, a 2x zoom camera without OIS, and the same 12MP ultra-wide. Both phones share a 32MP front-facing camera with a wide 120-degree field of view. They will also carry Leica’s branding and image tuning.

Xiaomi 15T color options

As for the battery, both reportedly feature a 5,500mAh cell. However, the 15T charges at 67W, while the Pro model is said to support 90W. Neither includes a charger in the box. Both are IP68-certified, support eSIM, and weigh 194 grams for the 15T and 210 grams for the Pro.

Last but not least, the leak quotes the Xiaomi 15T price at €649 and €799 for the 15T Pro.

Xiaomi 15T will be powered by Dimensity 8400

More telling is the confirmation of its chipset. Geekbench reveals that the chip has a prime core (3.25GHz), three performance cores (3.00GHz), and four efficiency cores (2.10GHz), which matches the specifications of the Dimensity 8400 exactly.

The listing also confirms that the Xiaomi 15T will run Android 15 and come equipped with 12GB of RAM. Beyond the benchmark details, rumors suggest the Xiaomi 15T will pack a 5500mAh cell and support for 67W wired fast charging.

Its rear camera setup is expected to include a 50MP main, 13MP ultrawide, and a 50MP telephoto unit. Whereas we might get a 32MP shooter for selfies. Moreover, the phone could have a plastic frame and an IP69 rating for protection against dust and water.

The Xiaomi 15T is expected to start at EUR 649 (around Rs. 66,000) for a single 12GB + 256GB configuration. The 15T Pro, meanwhile, may cost EUR 799 (roughly Rs. 81,000) for the 12GB + 256GB version and EUR 899 (around Rs. 92,000) for the 16GB + 512GB option. Both models are likely to launch in black, grey, and gold finishes.

Xiaomi is getting ready to launch its next T-series phones, the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro.
Now, we’re getting our first real look at the hardware. A TikTok user recently posted a video showing off the 15T Pro from the front and back, and it reveals a copper-like finish on the rear panel.

@refacelexpressmx
leaks eng firmware mi 15t pro
♬ sonido original – www.refacelexpress.com

The camera island sits in the top left corner, shaped like a rounded square with beveled edges, and (no surprise here) features Leica branding in the middle.

What to expect?

In terms of specs, the phone is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision OVX9100 main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel Samsung JN5 telephoto camera. On the front, it could house a Samsung S5KKDS sensor for selfies.

Under the hood, the device could be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, paired with 12GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of storage. The 128GB model is said to cost €799, while the 256GB version may be priced at €899. Storage details for the Pro model also align with our previous reports, and some markets might even get a 1TB variant.

Fueling the phone could be a 5,500mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging. The vanilla Xiaomi 15T, on the other hand, is expected to launch in a single 12GB + 256GB configuration for €649. It may come in three color options, namely Gold, Gray, and Black.

Both phones have already popped up in multiple certification databases, signaling that an official launch is just around the corner. Hopefully, Xiaomi won’t keep us waiting much longer to reveal the full details.

Xiaomi‘s next gen budget flagship models have just surfaced in a big leak. The new Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro just had their pricing, color options, and storage variants revealed, confirming key details ahead of their official release. So here’s what you need to know.

Xiaomi 15T Series Spotted: Full Pricing, Colors & Storage Leaked

The latest info arrives from known tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, who shared the details with XpertPick. This leak revealed European pricing, color, and storage details of both the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro. The base model will come in a single 12GB + 256GB option for 649 Euros and will be available in three color options, namely Gold, Gray, and Black.

Xiaomi 14T

On the other hand, the Xiaomi 15T Pro model will be offered in 12GB + 256GB and 12GB + 512GB variants. The former costs 799 Euros, while the latter may have an 899 Euro price tag. The same Black, Gold, and Gray color choices will return on the Pro model. Considering how European prices are usually higher, we can expect the Asian prices in regions like India to be more affordable and competitive.

Xiaomi’s T series of flagship phones is generally positioned right below its numbered premium models (like the Xiaomi 15). Just recently, the upcoming Xiaomi 15T series got certified in Thailand and Singapore (NBTC and IMDA, respectively), hinting at its imminent release. The storage retails for the Pro model are also in line with our previous report, although some markets might also get a 1TB option. This is all the information that was revealed by the tipster, so stick around for more.

The global launch of Xiaomi’s 15T series appears to be just around the corner, as both the Xiaomi 15T and 15T Pro have cleared major regulatory hurdles. With official certifications now granted in Thailand and Singapore, expectations are rising for an August or September debut.

As of July 30, the Xiaomi 15T (model number 25069PTEBG) received approval from Thailand’s NBTC and Singapore’s IMDA (via Xpertpick), following the 15T Pro’s earlier appearances on multiple certification platforms including the FCC and Geekbench. These developments strongly hint at a global rollout in the coming weeks—right in line with Xiaomi’s usual T-series schedule.

The Xiaomi 15T Pro is rumored to pack the latest Dimensity 9400+ chip, 12GB of RAM, and Android 15 with HyperOS 2. Benchmarks suggest solid performance, with high single- and multi-core scores that put it among the faster phones in its category. It may include a massive 7,500mAh battery and support 120W fast charging.

Camera upgrades are also expected to be a major highlight. The Xiaomi 15T is tipped to feature a triple-camera system with a 50MP OmniVision OVX8000 main sensor, a 13MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 telephoto unit. It’s likely to be backed by a 5,500mAh battery supporting 67W fast charging. Leica-branded optics are also in the mix, though full hardware details haven’t been confirmed yet.

Meanwhile, a separate Xiaomi device (model 25082RNC1C) recently appeared in China’s 3C database with 33W charging support, possibly a part of the Redmi 15 series that targets the entry-level segment.

With both the 15T and 15T Pro now officially certified, Xiaomi fans won’t have to wait long to see what these budget-friendly flagships bring to the table. Between upgraded cameras, flagship-grade chips, and fast charging, the 15T series could be a serious contender in the mid-range space.
