The Hongmi Note 4G Edition was formally launched today at noon. The 4G version uses the Snapdragon 400 processor and costs 999 RMB. The China Mobile version hits stores next week. The biggest changes in the 4G version are:

  1. It supports 4G internet thanks to the Snapdragon 400 (MSM 8928) which has a main frequency of 1.6GHz.
  2. It is 10g lighter than the original version.
  3. It does not support dual-SIM cards.

As for its specifications, the Hongmi Note 4G edition has 2GB RAM and 8GB ROM, and sports a 5mp/13mp camera. There are no obvious changes in the phone’s design. The China Mobile 4G version hits stores on August 12 while the China Unicom version goes on sale on the 26th30_1jUr7ZBWF.jpg_w600
