Some more interesting news from ZUK today, the partnership with Cyanogen that was spoken about before the launch of the Z1 has now been made official.
ZUK reveals official partnership with Cyanogen
ZUK, established in May 28 2015, is an innovative Internet company invested by Lenovo Group Ltd. (LNVGY). ZUK revealed that they’ve established a software partnership with Cyanogen, a leading mobile OS company, for the international version of the ZUK Z1, which will bring the best customised Android experience to international users. The ZUK Z1 international version will be the first device from ZUK to come preloaded with the commercial Cyanogen OS. Combining Cyanogen OS 12.1 with the latest highest end hardware, the Z1 is poised to provide a fast, secure and beautiful device for Android users.
Cyanogen OS is a powerfully fast operating system with a number of advanced features that are optimised for performance, power consumption, security and privacy. Cyanogen enables deep customisation of the entire user interface with its theme app, including wallpapers, fonts, icons, boot animations, and 3rd party apps.
