The Amazing Xiaomi Mix Hands On Images: Full Screen Beauty With Ceramic Body

by Joe 27

Xiaomi surprised everyone today, not with the Xiaomi Mi Note 2, but with a new concept smartphone, the Xiaomi Mix. While initially, we thought that this was just a concept device that we may never get to see in real life, the company soon revealed that the phone is real and will be up for sale as well.

Beautiful, but a little too big.. Make it <= 6 inches.

    • Jh1

Definitely. 6 inch phone with the same overall size as a smaller 5.5inch would be great

      • Assefa Hanson

this phone is matching the dimensions of regular 6 inch phones now it will feel exactly like a 6inch screen phone larger screen doesnt mean larger phone, it sounds strange but with this type of bezel larger screen equals smaller device

        • Jh1

I understand that, I meant that I would have preferred a slightly smaller screen, I. E. 6 inch, so it would have the footprint of a small 5.5 inch device, maybe even 5.2. Great looking phone though.

          • Assefa Hanson

no worries i understand you now

    • Assefa Hanson

this is a 6inch phone interms of width and everything remember regular 6 inch phones have larger bezel almost 30% more bezel

  • Robert Johnson

Such a fantastic concept phone I’d almost be willing to trade my GTX 1080 FTW video card for it.

  • Vuong

Hope to look the new version with 5 inches screen.

Hope to look the new version with 5 inches screen.

    • goodwill

The phone is mostly screen tho so it should be the smallest amongst all the 6inch out there.

      • Vuong

        Yeah, they’ve produced 5.5 inches version 😀

  • Vuong

Hope to look the new version with 5 inches screen.

  • markiz

    OLED?

  • almir

    It is real….! It’s NOT a concept.
    Well done Xiaomi….!!!

  • quodvadis

6.4″ defeats the point of this phone.

  • goodwill

It says 3999 rmb there. does it mean its going to be selling soon?

  • vark

Looking like this but 6 inch, QHD OLED, 8GB and you get my money

  • vark

BTW, this phone is excellent for ladies since they keep phones in their bags which they always carry. Guys keep in the pockets and so please make a smaller 6″ with 16:9 display for them. The display in this phone is apparently 17:9 which is really a gimmick.

    • Mateus Marta

Not really a gimmick, 16:9 for content + 1:9 for the virtual buttons.

  • goodwill

Ok, forget about the mi note 2. This is my next Xiaomi upgrade. haha. I just saw the live intro on the phone on fb live from hugo

    • Assefa Hanson

samething im saying this is more an interesting phone so why is this site having so much articles on the mi note 2

  • loller

No phone should be larger than 152*73*8mm.
    Perfect phone – 5.5in and 145*71*7.2mm.

    • Assefa Hanson

and then a person who likes 3.5″ inch phone says no phone should be larger than 115* 62* 6.0mm

perfect opinion- one that isnt selfish, self absorded and open minded

  • Rick Bueno

That’s not full screen! Would have been really impressive if they made it really full screen- without the bottom bezel, but I read that’s where they put the front camera. Guess they haven’t figured out how to put the front camera under the display.

    • Guaire

Though Samsung demonstrated transparent OLED displays they can’t put the camera under the display without significantly compromising both camera and display quality.

  • aryacebe

wow this is so beautiful, but where is the call speaker?
