Samsung Galaxy Star is a low end Android phone from Samsung which has certainly affordable price where specifications are also quite low end.

Where the previous Samsung Galaxy Mini and Galaxy Y has been offered with very affordable price and more cheaper than Samsung Galaxy Star, while Samsung Galaxy Pocket Neo has slightly better specs but both phones are equally same and those are targeting for budget market.

Galaxy Star is equipped with a 2 megapixel camera, 850MHz processor and 512 MB of memory, is quite mediocre to run the latest Android, but still “decent” in which also complies with the cheap price. For connectivity the Samsung Galaxy Star has 2G/EDGE network support, and not yet supports 3G/HSDPA.

Renewal and major improvement compared to its predecessor Galaxy Star has packs with dual sim and memory now been upgraded to 512 MB so that they can run a version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean is still the standard, while the other features as well and is not much different than the Galaxy Y.
