Gigabyte fomerly known as the board manufacturers for PC, is now they already entering the smartphone market wichoffers the GSmart smartphone series for domestic market after they already available in Computex Taipei exhibited a variety of smartphone products
Some Gigabyte smartphone which show at Computex are Sierra, Maya M1, Simba and other products, which are now we have a GSmart Sierra S1, this is the new smartphone that has been officially released in Taiwan, like the other Gsmart lineup, the Sierra S1 smartphone is also powered by MediaTek chipset.
GSmart Sierra S1 has simple design, covered by black and white color, cinstruct with frame which gives tough feeling, the whole body size is 145.5 x 72.5 x 8.9mm, this is the thinnest smartphone in the GSmart products lineup.
The phone is equipped with MediaTek MT6589T quad-core processor 1,5GHz with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of ROM, but also support for 32G memory card expansion. Packs with 5.0 inches screen size with 720P level resolution, using IPS wide viewing angle display panel, powered by 2000 mAh battery capacity and running Android 4.2 Jelly bean oeprating system.
The Sierra S1 equipped with a 13 megapixel Sony camera with LED flash, as well as self-megapixel front facing camera.
Gigabyte GSmart Sierra S1 is offers with 1,872 yuan or around $305 USD, on October 15th, this phone will be officially launch in Taiwan and this phone will also hit Chinese market soon.
