There have been rumors that ZTE will create an NBA-themed cell phone late this year called the NBA Phone. Basketball enthusiasts should be excited to know that ZTE confirmed the rumors.
This afternoon, acting ZTE Corporation vice president, Zeng Xuezhong said in his Weibo account, “The NBA Phone will be created by ZTE in cooperation with the NBA and Sina Sports. It can be used to catch the NBA channel, and provide users to news and social services”
However, how the NBA Phone will look like and what features it will have are still under discussion, but Zeng Xuezhong is currently gathering ideas from internet users in his Weibo account.
PS. ZTE and the NBA have a history of cooperation with each other. Last year, they signed a three-year strategic cooperation agreement.
