The Gionee GN151 hits stores: Uses MT6582 quad-core chipset and costs 1199 RMB (193.18 USD)

In a few days, Gionee will release a new 4G phone into the market with the model name, “GN151.”



The GN151’s design is similar to the Fenghua 3 series’. It has round edges and curvy sides. Its measurements are 137.5 x 68.5 x 8.9mm.



One of the good things about the Gionee GN151 is that it uses a combination of the MT6582 quad-core chipset and MT6290 frequency band chip. It also sports a 4.7-inch display screen with FWVGA resolution (854 x 480), 1GB RAM, 8GB ROM, a 2mp/5mp dual-camera, and sensors like an electric compass. It is powered by a 1800ma battery and supports dual-frequency WIFI.


The GN151 also supports LTE internet and uses the Amigo system. It can also support TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA, and GSM. It does not support dual-SIM. The Android 4.4-based Amigo OS offers different kinds of features to take photos with.


The GN151 will be sold in stores at the price of 1199 RMB.
