Zeaplus M7 Unboxing and First Impressions

Still, the Zeaplus M7 is their entry into the smartphone market and we can’t wait to see if their product is worth your attention or not. At the first glance, it has a plain looking but decent design but more importantly it carries a great list of specs for the price of $169.

Zeaplus M7 Review: UNBOXING

nothing out of ordinary, usual stuff you would expect to get with a budget smartphone

A quite typical packaging for nowadays budget devices.

The contents include a screen protector, USB charging brick, USB cable and instruction manuals. I can’t say that the accessories scream high quality, but they don’t look like they going to brake after a month either.

First of all, Zeaplus M7 is not a small device as it spots a 5.5″ 1080p display, which is actually quite good. It is a bright and vivid LCD panel and it looks good both indoors and outdoors.

A metal frame gives a little bit of a premium look and feel but the whole device is made out of plastic and it does feel expensive to be honest. Well, it is not expensive device after all but what I’ve noticed is that the textured plastic back is wobbling a bit and I’m not a huge fan of it.

Honestly, I’ve been using a device for 4 days already but was on vacation. Still, I used this device as a daily driver and so far the overall performance has been okay with no major issues. I have browsed a lot of web and Facebook, took tens of pictures and shot some videos, made some calls etc.

A full detailed review (VIDEO + ARTICLE) is in the making as I’m quite busy at the moment (have 8 devices to review!). Stay tuned to Gizmochina to watch the video/read a review first. Also, a lot of more very hot reviews, comparisons and camera shootouts are coming!

In case you’re interested and can’t wait till the full review, you can buy Zeaplus M7 directly from the official website.

By any chance one of the 8 devices you have to review is a Umi Iron? 🙂

    • Umi Iron is on the way. 🙂

    • Linus

      yes 🙂

  • Adam Irvine

Hey Linus, are you able to just answer this..?

In your opinion, is it worth $169?

    • Linus

I still need to try some things on it but so far so good. I will answer that in the full review 🙂

    • George

Its more like a 100$ device, the chip is the only thing good ,te rest looks like something you will buy at toy’s’rus

      • Adam Irvine

Do you have one? Was ordering one last night to replace my missus’s Zopo ZP999 a mistake then?

        • George

gad damnit, why you didn’t ask me before men?you better cancel taht right now,of course i have one,it’s unusable but i have it

          • Adam Irvine

Why is it so bad then? It seriously can’t be as bad as what Zopo are doing with the Zp999…

          • George

On a scale from 1 to 10,let’s say zopo is 2 and m7 is 3,i’ve lost my hope with this guys, they basicly lie in every fckin aspect, never again

          • Adam Irvine

Ahh [email protected]… Just been and read all the negativity on the forums over at Zeaplus… I’ve just requested a refund from them so hopefuly they’ll get that before dispatching it!

If not according to their warranty area I have 14 days to return it for a ‘full refund’

            Hopefuly I’ll dodge this bullet!

          • Linus

omg… you may rate Galaxy S6 Edge 4 of 10 then…. I’ve been using this device for some days now. It’s far from the best, but definitely higher than 3/10…

          • George

I’m a consumer and you’re a reviewer, please pass me link when you last said that a device is below sh1t,not ambiguous mumblings to cash in.
I usually have very low expectation, like aliexpress low, when buying from this guy’s, but this is much below par

          • Linus

i am a consumer as you and I have “consumed” way more devices than you. All the reviews I’ve made are honest and can be confirmed by comments by the users. In addition, there is no link me saying the device is shit.

It is clear now what are you doing here. Please go to make money from whoever is paying you for posting this crap on other websites.

          • George

It’s nothing personal m8,seller is a liar and you’re essay about it is ambiguous, there is no way around.
            I wish you the best.
