Considering the price tag, the specs of the HOMTOM HT7 turns out to be quite impressive. It is powered by the MTK MT6580A quad-core chip clocked at 1.3GHz with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. This is further expandable via MicroSD up to 64GB. There is a large 5.5-inch display on board with 720p HD resolution, which is also quite good. At the back, there’s an 8MP camera while, up front, you get a 5MP shooter. 
One thing to remember is that the phone does not support 4G LTE networks. Instead, it’s a dual SIM dual standby supporting 3GB networks. But that’s not really a big drawback considering the price.
