According to a leaked picture taken during a PPT presentation at the China Mobile’s conference, Meizu will release a new smartphone in April next year. The picture also shows that the pricing of the device is expected to be between 1500-3000 Yuan i.e. between $231 and $463. While, the presentation failed to mention the name or model of the device, it’s quite likely that this is the Meizu Pro 5 Mini handset.

A few weeks back, Meizu VP, Li Nan had revealed that they are considering the launch of a new device with a 4.7-inch screen under the Pro series lineup. The device was said to launch in the first half of 2016 with a pricing of around 2499 Yuan. Considering the details revealed today, we feel this phone could launch sometime in April.

According to rumors, the Meizu Pro 5 Mini smartphone will come with a 4.7-inch FHD 1080p display with Helio x20 deca-core chip on board. The phone have a 16MP rear camera and 3GB of RAM. The phone is said to follow an all metal design scheme with fingerprint sensor as well. So, it looks like, the phone going to be very powerful for a device with the “Mini” tag. Except for the display, rest of the specs are going to be pretty high-end.

For now, this is all we have on the Meizu Pro 5 Mini handset. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
