Yesterday, we reported a LeEco phone presumed to be the Le 2S with model number LEX720 spotted on GFXBench featuring a Snapdragon 820 processor. Today, screenshots of benchmarking app, Ludashi, shows a phone with the same model number with a MSM8996pro chip a.k.a. Snapdragon 821 processor.

While, most people are only familiar with benchmarking apps and sites like GFXBench, Antutu, and Geekbench; Ludashi has been around for a while and has had many high end flagships benchmarked on it before their release in China.Le 2S SD821

Other specifications revealed for the phone says it will have 4GB of RAM, 32GB ROM, a Full HD screen, Adreno 530 GPU and the processor will have a clock speed of 2.4 GHz. It will also feature a 16 MP rear camera and an 8 MP front-facing camera. The RAM, ROM, and camera are the same as the one of GFXBench.

The images also reveal test scores. The phone scored a total of 67946 points for the performance test and 113.64 points for the experience evaluation data test.

The Snapdragon 821 is an upgraded version of the SD 820 chip. As Qualcomm puts it, the SD 821 offers a 10% increase in performance over the SD 820. So if you already own a phone with a snapdragon 820 processor, do not worry yourself as you are still getting top performance.

This new development brings up many questions. Is the Le 2S debuting with SD 820 or SD 821? Or maybe there’s going to be a Le 2S Pro (since there’s a Le 2 Pro)? Or could it just be another device entirely? We can’t wait for September to be here.
