Last week, we got our first official confirmation of an anniversary edition Meizu phone set to launch next year. The confirmation came in form of a picture of the retail box of the phone called the Meizu 15 Plus; and was posted on Weibo by the CEO himself.
The Meizu 15 Plus is a special phone to mark the 15th anniversary of Meizu and is scheduled to be officially unveiled in Spring. While an official launch date has not been released, Meizu has surprised us by announcing tickets to the event.
There is no info yet as to how tickets can be gotten or how much they will retail for or if they will even be sold. However, we can be sure fans of the brand alongside members of the press will get tickets to the conference.
The specification of the Meizu 15 Plus is unknown at the moment, though it is strongly rumored to feature a full-screen display. Nevertheless, the most important specification most people are eager to know about is the chipset.
Will the Meizu 15 Plus be a Qualcomm flagship phone powered by the Snapdragon 845 or will it feature a MediaTek or Exynos processor? No one knows for now.
