OPPO R15, R15 Dream Mirror Edition Official Page Appears, Reservations Begin; Likely to Debut Very Soon

OPPO had recently revealed on Weibo that its upcoming R-series phones would be called OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition. The Chinese manufacturer has reportedly ditched the OPPO R13 moniker since the number 13 is considered as bad omen among some people. The launch of the R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition seems to be close at hand because its official page has appeared on OPPO’s website. Moreover, the company has also started with the reservations of the R15 duo.

In order to reserve OPPO R15 or R15 Dream Mirror Edition, users are required to submit their phone number. People who reserve the handset can stand a chance to Dyson air purifier, Canon photo printer, Dior perfume, Sports Bluetooth headset, and more. The winning list will be declared after the official launch of the OPPO R15 duo.

As the tagline of the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition reads, both phones will deliver intelligent photography through AI. Today, the company has teased that the handset will be sporting a super view full screen design. It appears that after making several revelations on its features, the company will be disclosing its launch date.

Both the smartphones will be arriving with full screen design enabled with a notch like the iPhone X. The promotional videos of OPPO R15 was also leaked in the previous week.

Previous leaks had suggested that the OPPO R15 duo would be fueled by Snapdragon 670 chipset, the successor of the Snapdragon 660 which powers the  OPPO R11/R11 Plus and OPPO R11s/R11s Plus. However, a leakster from China has claimed that the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset that was unveiled recently would be powering the OPPO R15 and R15 Dream Mirror Edition.

The official page of OPPO R15 duo state that the next teaser will show up on March 8. It appears that the company may launch the next-generation R-series phones later this month or in April.
