Last week, DJI announced two new Gimbal systems. It also launched the Zenmuse XT2 – the first drone with a thermal imaging camera a few weeks ago. But DJI isn’t done yet. Alleged photos and specifications of the Phantom 5 have surfaced online.
The DJI Phantom 5 is said to come with an interchangeable lens head camera. The camera has a 1-inch CMOS sensor just like the Phantom 4 Pro. It also has new DL-M Lens mount for 15mm, 24mm, 35mm, and 50mm DL-M mount lenses.
The maximum speed for the drone is 55 miles per hour (88.5kph). It also has a maximum flying distance of 7km and 33 minutes of battery life.
The DJI Phantom 5 is said to measure 16 x 8.6 x 12.6 inches and weighs 8.5 lbs (3.85 Kg). Its price is put at about $1,600.

Photos of the drone show that it comes in a mix of metallic silver and black. The design doesn’t seem to have been changed but there may be some differences we can’t see.
There is no info about a launch date yet.
