Just over one year after rumours first started circulating concerning the resurgence of the Nokia N-series, Nokia has shared a teaser on Weibo which suggests that the HMD Global-controlled company would launch an N-series model soon. The Weibo post urged us to watch out for more teasers of what is in store from April 27 to May 2. The company will likely launch the device on May 2 in n event billed to hold in Sanlitun, Chaoyang District, Beijing, China.
The Weibo post also comes with an image of what looks like the Nokia N9 which was launched in mid-2011 with a MeeGo 1.2 Harmattan providing the interface. That also could be a teaser indicating that the device may be called Nokia N9 (2018).
Nokia first reintroduced the Nokia 3310 with a remodelled design but it was an instant hit for a feature phone. The company also recently disclosed it would be relaunching the Nokia X series with the Nokia X6 expected to go official in China on April 27. No doubt, Nokia is trying to employ nostalgia in its bid to sell more models and move up the ladder. We are quite positive that this strategy would help the brand.
