The Nokia 7 Plus is one of the best mid-range phones in the market right now. It packs a lot of features that make it worth the price HMD Global is charging for it. If you own one already, you should be excited as a new feature will be arriving soon.

The Chief Product Officer of HMD Global, Juho Sarvikas, revealed in a tweet that the phone will soon have dual SIM dual LTE support. At the moment, only one SIM slot supports LTE.

The tweet was actually a response to a video review of a YouTuber Siddhartha Sharma (@SidnChips). We guess he had mentioned the absence of the feature as one of the drawbacks of the device in his review.

There is no info as to when the update will come but Mr. Sarvikas said shortly. We presume it may come along with the next security update for the device.

Dual SIM Dual LTE lets you use LTE on both SIM slots. This also means you can activate Dual VoLTE on both SIMs for HD calls. There are a number of phones that already have this feature like the Honor View 10 and OPPO R11s among others.
