The pair of wired earphones is the first from Honor to support heart rate measurement. Honor says the human ear is filled with capillaries and when compared with measuring via the wrist, they found out that readings from the ears were more accurate.

Honor says the heart rate function works with a bunch of smartphones including the Huawei Mate 10, Mate 10 Pro, P20 and P20 Pro, Galaxy S7, Galaxy Note 8, Vivo X9, Vivo, Y66 etc.
