The launch of the Honor Play and the Honor 9i doesn’t mean the Honor 10 has been put on the back burner. The flagship has received a new update that brings a number of new features and improvements.

Honor 10

The first of the features the update brings is an app called Party Mode. Party mode lets owners of the Honor 10 pair up multiple units of the phone together via NFC and play the same song at the same time. The feature is said to be available on the Honor View 10 too but there is no confirmation you can pair both phones together.

Another feature included in the update is an enhancement for the camera app. The AI camera now shows a text informing you of the photo effect in use when it detects the scenery in focus.

The update also brings May’s security patch and a new fingerprint scanner feature that tells you how compatible your current fingerprint is and if you need to remove and change it. There is also a new live wallpaper and theme, and improvements in battery management.
