Earlier this week Xiaomi’s Mijia brand announced a new gimbal. This is its third gimbal. It already has two – one for smartphones and another for its PTZ camera.
The new gimbal packs a massive 5000mAh battery that should last up to 16 hours on a single charge. That will be less if you use the gimbal to power your phone.
The Mijia Gimbal has 3-axis stabilization with auto-tracking. You can also use it to shoot time lapse videos by connecting it to a tripod via the 1/4-inch screw at the base. It supports phones with a maximum weight of 200g and a maximum width of 86mm. The gimbal itself weighs 476g and has a white and gray dual tone color.

Xiaomi says it will go on sale tomorrow for ¥600 (~$93). This is lesser than DJI’s Osmo Mobile 2 which has a 2600mAh battery and sells for $129. There is also the Zhiyun Smooth 4 which is available for $99.
