After Razer Phone was announced last year, gaming phones started popping up like mushrooms. The latest one is the Asus ROG Phone and, at least on the paper, it is the most powerful smartphone ever released. It was recently unveiled at Computex 2018 but the company did not release any detail about its global availability, neither about its listing price. That is why everyone thought it is going to be an exclusive for Taiwan which is Asus‘ homeland. But now, fresh reports are suggesting that the device may head on the Indian market. In such case, Asus ROG Phone would be the first gaming phone to ever hit the Indian market.
Indeed, Razer Phone’s global launch did not include India, and neither the Chinese gaming phones Xiaomi Black Shark and ZTE’s Nubia Red Magic were launched in the peninsula. According to the source, the device will land in India in September and after the Indian launch, there are even chances that the handset will be made available to purchase in Europe.
