When the OPPO Find X was launched last week, It was reported that it was going to be available in the United States. Sadly, that won’t be the case.

The news comes from PCMag’s Sascha Segan who tweeted that OPPO informed him the Find X will not be coming to the US. Though they confirmed it will be available in Europe.

According to Android Headlines, OPPO mentioned back during the launch of the OPPO R15 and OPPO R15 Dream Mirror Edition that the US President is keeping them out of North America. The US is currently in a trade war with China and asides that, recent treatment of other Chinese brands already in the US market will deter new players from coming.

However, OPPO will be re-entering the European market after taking a break for a few years. If you live in the US and want the OPPO FInd X, you should be able to order it from third-party sellers.

The OPPO Find X is a truly bezel-less device with no notch. It hides the front camera and 3D face scanning sensors in a motorized slider so as to achieve its impressive 93.8% screen-to-body ratio. The OPPO Find X isn’t all screen though. It packs a Snapdragon 845 processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of built-in storage.
