Microsoft has launched the Surface Book 2 and Surface laptop devices in India. These devices were first unveiled in the U.S. in 2017. The Surface Book 2-in-1 laptop-tablet that is powered by Intel’s 8th gen Core i7 CPU is advertised as the most powerful Surface device from the company. The Surface Laptop that runs on Windows 10 S is a device designed for education purpose.
Microsoft Surface Book 2
Microsoft had launched Surface Book 2 in October last year in two display variants of 13.5 and 15-inch. Both the display variants have been also made available in India. The Surface Book 2 with 13.5-inch PixelSense Display is available in multiple models such as:

- Intel Core i7, 8 GB RAM, 256 GB SSD and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 – Rs. 1,85,999

The Surface Book 2 with 15-inch PixelSense Display comes in following models:

- Intel Core i7, 16 GB RAM, 512 GB SSD and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 – Rs. 2,58,999

The 13.5-inch screen supports 3000 x 2000 pixels with an aspect ratio of 3:2. The 15-inch display supports higher resolution of 3240 x 2160 pixels with an aspect ratio of 3:2. Both the devices are expected to offer around 17 hours of battery life. The other features of the Surface Book 2 include Bluetooth 4.1 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB 3.0 (2 ports), USB-C, UHS-II SDXC card reader, 3.5mm audio jack, 2 Surface Connect, 5-megapixel front camera, 8-mgeapixel rear camera, dual front speakers, dual microphones and Dolby Audio Premium.

Microsoft Surface Laptop
The Surface Laptop is a lightweight device with a premium appeal. It is equipped with a blacklight enabled fabric keyboard. It is fitted with a 13.5-inch PixelSense touchscreen display that supports Full HD resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio. It is equipped with Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.0 LE.
