Android 9.0 Pie

So far, Sony will update six of its phones to Android 9.0 Pie. These phones are its flagships from this year and last year. They are the Xperia XZ1 Compact, the Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XZ2, Xperia XZ2 Compact, and Xperia XZ2 Premium.

Sony has also revealed that the update will begin rolling out as from September and will be done by November which is pretty fair. There is no info on when the update will be made available for its mid-range phones.
