At the end of June, Xiaomi had launched the Mi Pad 4 tablet with 8-inch screen, Snapdragon 660 SoC and 6,000mAh battery. The tablet was made available in LTE and Wi-Fi only versions. Today, the Chinese manufacturer has launched a bigger variant of the tablet as Mi Pad 4 Plus. Here is all the information available on the new Xiaomi tablet.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus has arrived with a 10.1-inch display that carries support for Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels along with an aspect ratio of 16:10. It offers a contrast ratio of 1000:1. The device measures 245.6 x 149.8 x 7.99mm and it weighs 485 grams. It features a larger battery of 8,620mAh capacity that carries support for 5V/2A charging.

Like the regular Xiaomi Mi Pad 4, the Plus variant also comes with 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and at its front is f/2.0 aperture 5-megapixel camera that carries support for HDR and face recognition. The Snapdragon 660 is present under the hood of the Mi Pad 4 Plus.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus supports 802.11ac Wi-Fi, 2×2 Wi-Fi MIMO, Bluetooth 5.0 and a single nano-SIM card slot for LTE connectivity. It also supports GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS and Beidou. The Mi Pad 4 Plus is equipped with sensors like gyroscope, accelerometer, ambient light sensor, hall sensor and electronic compass. The other features of the tablet include 3.5mm audio jack and MIUI flavored Android 8.1 Oreo OS.

The Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus is now listed on the official online Xiaomi store in China for reservations. It comes in two models such as 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. Both the models are respectively priced at 1,899 Yuan (~$275) and 2,099 Yuan (~$305). It will be available for buying starting from Aug. 16 at 10 AM through various online and offline channels in China.
