Over the last couple of days, Xiaomi has been rolling out a stable version of MIUI 10 to its phones. It started with the Mi 6 and has hit the Mi 8 SE, the Mi MIX 2, Redmi Note 5, Mi Note 3, and Mi 5. If you are an owner of the Mi 8 Explorer Edition, then you will be happy to know it is the turn of your device.

MIUI 10 for Mi 8 Explorer Edition

The MIUI 10 update has started rolling out to the Mi 8 Explorer Edition. The update is 644MB in size and brings a number of new features such as a new navigation system for phones with a full-screen display, a new multitasking menu, a driving mode, and more. The update comes as version MIUI 10.0.4.0.OEHCNFH.

The Mi 8 Explorer Edition has a 6.21-inch AMOLED display with a 1080 x 2248 resolution and a notch at the top. It is powered by a Snapdragon 845 processor with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

There are dual 12MP sensors on the back of the device and a 20MP front-facing camera. Unlike the regular Mi 8, the Explorer Edition has an under-display fingerprint scanner. It also has an IR face recognition scanner, dual-band GPS, and NFC. The Mi 8 Explorer Edition has a 3,000mAh battery with support for Quick Charger 4.0+ support.
