The launch of the third device in the Motorola P30 series may be coming soon. The P30 series includes the P30 itself which was first unveiled last month, the P30 Note announced at the beginning of the week and the yet to be unveiled P30 Play.

Motorola P30 Play

For a short time today, the P30 Play was listed on the official Motorola website before it was taken down. Thankfully, details of the phone were saved before the page was taken down.

Judging from the specs, we believe the Motorola P30 Play is the same device as the Motorola XT1941-2 that was on TENAA a few weeks ago and the Chinese variant of the motorola one.

The phone has a 5.8-inch screen with a 1520 x 720 notched LCD display. It is powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage which can be expanded.

There are dual cameras on the P30 Play – a 13MP primary sensor paired with a 2MP secondary camera. An 8MP sensor sits inside the notch for selfies and video calls. The cameras have AI features for portrait mode, beauty mode, and nighttime photos.

The Motorola P30 is covered in glass on both sides. Under the glass back is a 3000mAh battery while a fingerprint sensor is buried underneath the Motorola logo. The phone runs ZUI 4.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo.

When it officially launches, it will be priced at ¥1899 (~$278).
