Xiaomi Poco F1 has received its first update after going on sale. The new update brings some new improvements and enhancements to the device. It has received camera optimizations, app improvements and few other changes. Xiaomi Poco F1 update is now available via OTA (Over The Air) and will fully rollout within next few days to all units.

Xiaomi Poco F1 has received a new AOSP navigation buttons via the update. Technically, the update weighs 335 MB and comes with the build number MIUI V9.6.18.OEJMIFD. Xiaomi Poco F1 update optimises camera processing and improves image processing which will overall lead to better photo quality. The update carries some fixes which will resolve the issues with several apps. It also improves its dual microphone’s recording process and removes the Mi Roaming app from the device.

If you are lucky enough to have the Poco F1 then note that the update will hit the device soon. Usually, update takes a few days time to reach each and every unit but you can also manually check for it. You can do so by heading over to the Settings > System Update>> and can check for the new update. Also, make sure to connect with WiFi, if you want to save some carrier data.

 

 

Yesterday, Global Product Head at Pocophone, Jai Mani, confirmed that Poco F1 bootloader unlock time has been reduced to three days.

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 9.6 on the top with 6.18-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display.
