OPPO has introduced two new smartphones through an unveil event in Milan, Italy. The OPPO RX17 Pro and R1X Neo smartphone are the very same R17 Pro and R17 Neo devices that are already available for buying in China. Apart from Italy, these phones will be also available in markets like Italy, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
OPPO RX17 Pro
The OPPO RX17 Pro is fitted with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen that supports FHD+ resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels. The waterdrop notch screen offers an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. An under-display fingerprint scanner is present on the device.
The Snapdragon 710 chipset powers the OPPO R17 along with 8 GB of RAM. It is equipped with an inbuilt storage of 128 GB. It includes a big battery of 3,700mAh capacity. The handset is loaded with Android 8.1 Oreo OS that is customized with Colors 5.2.
In terms of photography, the rear side of the R17 Pro features a 12-megapixel + 20-megapixel dual camera setup along with a TOF 3D stereo camera. A 25-megapixel snapper is present inside the notch of the phone.
OPPO RX17 Neo
The OPPO RX17 Neo features the same sized AMOLED screen with notch. The handset is also equipped with an in-screen fingerprint reader. However, instead of Snapdragon 710, the RX17 Neo features Snapdragon 660. The SoC is coupled with 4 GB of RAM.
A 3,600mAh battery is present inside the RX17 Neo. It features the same 25-megapixel selfie shooter. At the backside of the phone is 16-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera setup.
The OPPO RX17 Pro and RX17 Neo are respectively priced at 599 euros (~$685) and 349 euros (~$399) in Europe. Both the phones will be available for buying in the aforementioned European markets starting from Nov. 16. Even though the R17 Pro was made official in China in August, the sales of the smartphone have not yet started. A recent report had revealed that the Chinese manufacturer will be selling the phone with a pricing of from Nov. 11. Before arriving In Europe, the RX17 Neo was launched at the beginning of this month with a price tag of around ~$345.
